I finally watched Malaal. It is one of those rare gems that leaves you totally stumped. It was an insightful show. Umera Ahmed is so brilliant. Gosh. Malal was way ahead in times. But what a brilliant show. Another rarity is that it had such a stellar starcast. From the guy playing Danish to Deepti Gupta to Sarwat gillani and surprisingly Imran abbas was great too.

Zeenia is one of the BEST characters i have ever seen. If i may say so, better than a kashaf or zara. She was selfless, dignified and so intense. She was a gem of a character. Deepti Gupta was fantabulous. I loved, loved, loved the show!!!

Sorry girls, off topic..But just wanted to say this.

Sia yes I lije Zeenia the most atm from all umera ahmed heroines. I even liked Mahi a lot. We need to discuss this show. I guess you will be travelling this month, will you be bck during christmas? Then we cm use that malal thread fr discussions. By that time Rupali will be done watching too.

The number of security guards was really less. They were more like volunteers. There could have been a real stampede.
Anyways watching this my respect for Fawad went up. It takes a lot of guts to move on from this kind of adulation and start out again in a new place.
