Exactly so! The character of Ashar is written somewhat weak! Head strong he is... Both his love n hatred r in superlatives! Doesn't hv d strength to consider n analyse things! Things once discarded...are just out of his life... It seems he doesn't hv d courage to look back... It seems he is always afraid of breaking again..always afraid of losing again...

no infact ur outburst is right. but from sara's POV, it was a shocker that after 5 years she caught Asher with his wife and that too when Asher lied to her. Asher and her bond is very much free of lies when its from Asher's side, and she actually never thought that he will do this. But its good he has done it atleast for once, she needs to realize it that the way she has ruined him noone else could have done this to him.

Yeah! It is a shocker indeed for her! But I hv always felt Ashar is much colder to her...even as a friend... Remember his not informing her abt goin to Europe? She always considers herself a supreme command n priority in his life but unfortunately d bitter truth is not so which god knows when she'll realise!!

Asher is NOT weak, atleast from where i see . he does have the strength to analyse things, and u wont realise it unless you watch the upcoming episodes. atleast in this show the only character who analyzes and acts is Asher and noone else, yes he did feeble at times with his thought process and were wrong at his analysis also, but yet he still continues doing them. He does not jump the guns and he never will, and its really easy to say that he can become blind to his mother or sara and allow khirad in his inner circle, we can say it easily because its known to us that his mother is an evil lady, but in reality never a child can do that, and atleast not people like Asher whose whole life revolved around his parents, being their only son he never hesitated to fulfill any of their desires, and in his land its a big crime to cheat on his mother because she has been his only relation left if he excludes his wife.

at your last line, yes he does not have the courage, and fears to break again, this one bits i agree with you, but isnt that the case of khirad also ? i am sure it has been equally hard for Asher to get reunited with her as it was for her, her being the matter of self respect and his being the matter of his broken heart, they both are struggling and its a bigger challenge for him considering that he had to accept that he had a daughter also, that had put him into so much of guilt and fear once again of losing her, and not only her even khirad, and he does realize it.

i think they dont have much of an age difference, looking at how free they are with each other. when he went to europe , those days were immediate ones after breakup with khirad, so i assume he was this much rude with everyone, with time he calmed down and did not include sara in his anger.
but yes when sara is considered she considers herself to be the only one whom Asher should look at, and sadly he tries his best to ensure her that its not the case.

Okay! I m a first tym viewer so for me till now the character analysis of ashar is the one i hv just mentioned! I m sure the upcoming episodes will change my pov...and if they do I'll b the happiest!
Talking of Sara I really dont hv much words for her stupidity... Its like d little child who has everything till reaching out to d moon which is already owned by d stars! The sooner she understands that Ashar is JUST a frnd to her n nothing more...the better for her...

i told in one of my prev posts that sara is actually one of those rich brats whom many boys, according to her random boys have proposed and wanted to marry. she was thrown into Asher land since childhood, she has observed him being so different out to be the boys who like her, his purity and sense of maturity, considering her matters all the time, always thinking and caring about people, in short his WHITE nature has bitten her and she just does not see anyone else now, because as she said nobody compares with him, and he is altogether different piece in her life😆

by the way Asher and sara has some great convos, and scenes.. they do have a depth in their bond..

Yeah! I kno they share a good bond! I even kno that Ashar wud hv married her if he had not bumped into khirad! But now that Ashar has tasted Khirad in either ways...sara shud understand that she n any other random girl has the same status in ashar's life...just a straight way NO as a life partner...

The character is not written as weak. Its a realistic chacrater with its own flaws... like normal human beings have.. It is different from what we see on television on a daily basis - the protagonists are demi-gods, not capable of any mistakes

As "aman-ki-asha" rightly summarizes and I like that interpretation a lot...

"So Ashar is basically unable to form his own judgment whenever faced by strength,he basically gives in to anyone who has strength os conviction--- his mother, father, Sara."

Only towards the end, we see Asher - the father, who is judgmental and takes control over things and fights people for what he believes is right... And the initial flaws are because he wants to be fair to people... Little does he know that not everyone is as stright forward and equitable as he is.

Umm.. Not really.. he would never marry sara, does not matter if he would remain alone all his life, thats what actually is the theme of his character, infact thats why we all like him so much, that he is a one woman man, and he wouldn't go to sara no matter what.

yes the main problem is sara never understands him, his desires, his pain, his happiness, she is always so much about her own desires that she miserabley ruined that person's life whom she claimed to love the most

Thats what makes me hate her more n more... This is not love! This is plain n simple possessiveness n selfishness... Love demands sacrifices!!! It really does...
Okay! I dont really know... But d way ashar had come to apologise to Sara just after his nikah with khirad being extremely sorry for not being able to talk to his dad... I felt he wud hv married her at least for her sake...
