What an awww episode was it 😳😳 Man, I am loving this father daughter duo, it is so damn adorable. Nazar na lage :') 😳
All the interactions of Ashar and Hareen were simply heartwarming. Beginning from their first scene, where he asks her to come with him. And the moment Hareem says, "humme chhod ke dossre sheher nahi jaayeinge", it occurred to me that It is not only Ashar and Khirad who have suffered but even Hareem, who has missed out on her father's love and attention. The way Ashar's expression changed for a split second as she says so was so touching. I cannot put in words the mixed emtions Ashar must be going through. Finally, after all these years he has his daughter with him, of whom he wasn't even aware. There is pain and regret of missing out on the four years, and there is happiness, relief and desperation to have a chance to make out on all the missed time. 😊
It was all reflected brilliantly in the scene where Ashar cried. God, do I even have to praise FK for that scene? My eyes were welled up with tears in the scene, and the tears were not only for Ashar's pain and for pride towards Fawad Afzal Khan. Not a word was uttered, not a single voice over was used. And yet, with his welled up eyes, angst filled tears, clenching jaw, quivering jaw, shaky hands and him combing through his hair nervously- in these perfectly choreographed gestures, Fawad Khan said it all in a way which just could not have been expressed in words ever. 👏 And the way his voice broke when he called Raza...😭 I could feel his pain, my heart tugged. The unfairness of his destiny hit me. Poor guy is meeting his daughter after four years, and in a situation as such. The only thought on his mind would be that what if it's his last few days with his daughter? And that unspoken thought was expressed in the shaky voice when he talked to Raza, in the way he was biting and wetting his lips, holding back an ocean of tears. And oh, how can I not mention when he stopped short at Hareem's picture? He was tearing away papers, like by destroying those papers he could get rid of this harsh reality that he had been hit with it. But as soon as he sets eyes on Hareem's picture, he realizes that reality isn't that ugly after all. He gathers strength to fight all the blades of destiny that had been fired at him for the sake of his daughter's health and well being. Ashar the father takes birth right there, making a silent promise to himself to save his daughter from any kind of problem, to not let a single tear escape her eye, to keep her smiling all her life. And who could have brought these emotions to life better than FK? No one. 👏👏
My heart went out for Ashar even when Hareem calls him all tensed, and he feels how insecure his daughter is about him. That dives him even more to devote all his time and attention to her, shower her with love, care and pampering. 😳
I'll take a moment here and divert my attention from Ashar-Hareem and talk about Khirad. In the background of the happy father-daughter was a battling mother. She was leaving behind every ounce of her dignity and anger for the sake of her daughter. From the point she enters the Hussain mansion, I can sense how bloody tough it would be for her to come back in this dreadful house, where every corner would haunt her with memories of past. And when Ashar blames her, all the three times, I could see how she restrained from any kind of reaction, just for the sake of Hareem and her happiness. Especially when Ashar tells her that he has hired a maid and Khirad shall never shout on his daughter. 😡 Yes, I understand the protective father in Ashar, but dude, she is her daughter too. In fact, she is hers a lot more than she is yours. And the way Khirad spoke nothing in her defense showed that the hurt woman in her and died with the birth of a mother. I loved Mahira in this scene! 👏
I loved alll the Ashar Hareem moments! Noodle scene, medicine one, breakfast scene and every little interaction they had. They way Hareem runs into his arms, the way he calls her with all adorable endearments- meri jaan, jaanu, papa ka beta- it so adorable 😳 She is the new reason he is living again, smiling again. That little moment where he smiles in his office recalling Hareem's words was heart warming! It showed that Ashar, the depressed and aimless one, is gone and he is back with a purpose in life, with someone to live and laugh for. 😳
Okay, the breakfast scene where Khirad and Ashar are talking through Hareem is just too funny. 😆😆 And cute too. I know it's kind of a bad scene but I found it adorable. 😆 The way they now address each other as "Papa" and "Mumma" is so cute. It's like, they both are united by this centerof gravity, this reason they both have put aside all their differences, this person for whom they both can do anything in this world- Hareem. 😳
I also like the Farida-Ashar conversation where Ashar battles over whether to tell her or not, and finally decides to keep it a secret. And nor does he tell Sara. It showed that he is ready to lie and hide from anyone and everyone for the sake of Hareem's safety and well being. 😊
And now that I have mentioned Sara, the ending of the Zarina-Sara scene is kinda cute. 😆 The way she takes way the chips and then as Sara reaches the bowl, playfully hits her plam. It was a awwie mother daughter moment. 😳
Also, I have been meaning to say for quite some days but I always forget. The way Fawad says 'theek thaak' is so sexy! I mean he stretches on the 'thaaak' and it sounds so hot 😳 I have bee lately saying theek thaak to whoever asks me in that way 😆
One more scene that touched me was when Hareem says how she does not like sugar in milk. I was always wondering what the Fist Ashr Scene meant, and now I know😳 And the way Ashar's face freezes, and he pauses for a second looking at Hareem, it wa so cute. 😳
Also, I love the way Khirad praises the love Ashar has for Hareem to Batook Khala. And the way she looks upon the ticking father-daughter pair is heartwarming. For her, in an incomplete way, her family is complete. 😳
In fact, when Ashar picks up Khirad and Hareem from Afhseen's house, and Hareem tells him and Khirad to sit in the front, like all ideal families do, and they comply? As their car speeds off, with Hareem at the back and the couple on the front, my heart tugged. They are so perfect, so complete, so idea, and yet, nothing is right. I could not help but wonder how cute and beautiful would it have been had nothing of the drama would have happened and this little family would have been a happy family :') But then, life ain't a bed of roses. 😊
Oh, I am loving this father Asahr. 😳😳 I have always liked Fawad the father too, and his pictures with his son is so cute. 😳 And him translating on screen as the hero of her daughter is just damn perfect. 😳
After seeing this episode, my heart warmed with happiness. Inspite of all the turmoil that as happened, and even though it's aftermath hasn't settled down, the love of a parent that has united the estranged couple is sad, and yet so blissful. Touchwood. 😳
And, did I mention, how amazing it is to see FK smiling again? 😳
