Humsafar had a balance between male and female as the name humsafar itself says.. all his other shows (that I have watched) have focused more on women but he has made his presence felt in each one of them... Even KS was women centric but he coolly walked away with all accolades...

Having said that I hope he does different genres... I am sure a lot of people would have had reservations if he had done Akshat's movie as well...

Why is everyone assuming that Fawad isnt doing the Akshat film? There are no reports on the contrary. And why is everyone assuming that BFB is another chick flick? I dont think Fawad will do another film where he doesnt have as much role as the heroine so soon. He is smart enough to realize that he cant get typecasted to chick flicks if he wants to survive in the long run. So far I have found his career moves smart and calculated. I dont think thats going to change now.
