I dont intend to sound negative or rude. But to establish himself as an actor in BW, Its very important for FK to come out of the Kapoor zone. Meaning, i dont want people to type cast him. For some time, Anushka was tipped as YRF Heroine and after many years she started doing movies outside YRF banner. My wish was to see him in another movie with another PH and with some other actress.

If this movie had come after some time then probably i would have jumped out of my seat. But anyway lets be positive and really hope all goes well for FK 😊

And no wonder Rhea knew he's coming back in 10 days😆 They seem to be keen on finalizing him. Interesting.

Ditto I too wished FK did a project outside Kapoor Banner before he did another one with them again.

I think FK with him we all know he has apprehensions about dance and on screen intimacy and with Kapoors these things can be addressed more conveniently for him so maybe the reason which has prompted him to do this movie with them. Akshat's Delhi Belly was a sex comedy which is way out of Fawad's comfort zone if a story on similar lines is being made by hima gain but I wish he had done movie with Akshat which would be starkly contrast with Khoobsurat helping him play a different role on screen.

Hey guys I am sure you have all seen the news of BFB. I felt this film is perfect for Fawad when I read about it but also felt it was too early for Fawad to work with the same team as KS again. He needs to spread his wings in BW. Anyways I do feel that unlike KS this wont be another chick flick but will be a proper romance. Plus UTV and AKFC will make this film and release it on a bigger scale.
I also feel that this film along with the DB writer one will be perfect for Fawad. The other one I hope is officially announced soon. Though from what I know with TOI and Bollywoodhungama quoting the PH its more or less confirmed. I wonder though how will Fawad manage two BW films along with his Pakistani film. I am guessing he isnt going to hibernate any time soon. Anyways good to start the week with good news! Eid Mubarak everyone!

I just didn't want sonam again.. No offence but a lot of my friends who love fawad was very upset that its sonam again..

I think he may learn how to dance for this movie... he has been pretty keen on it 😆

@Tina - all what u have written makes sense... Also I feel let us not draw any conclusions about his other projects... I am happy that we have atleast one confirmed project and I am happy about it... I am sure others will follow... The character of Zain Altaf (from whatever I could rather) definitely has more scope than Viku...😊

Lets see the positives and move on...

Any idea when is the shooting going to start? I think Sonam is busy with PRDP shoot till this month possibly...

DKD Releases on 6th Feb, so she will be busy with promotions in Jan... I guess the shooting for BoB will start only in Feb or later...

I was like this too last night... but the news is slowly sinking in... Since its confirmed its better to look at positives and move on... 😊

Thats a common reaction Sundas. A change is always better. Anyway as fans we can only wish and hope everything goes good for FK.

Morning all! 😊

I see alot of concerns because another project was announced with the Kapoors. It is already being compared to the three deal YRF forces on his newcomers. Thing is, Fawad was not discovered by the Kapoors he is his own person. A person whose choices were loaded by his fans till now. Why the distrust all of the sudden?

There is a dearth of romantic heroes that can do good movies, that shouldnt be seen as typecasting imho. It takes more than one role to establish someone in Bollywood. From what i see, it will probably be: he will do interesting projects that come his way but he will also do interesting romantic movies, because that is his core base, his strengh. I dont believe that BoB will be released before another of his movies is completed & delivered. Plus this not a typical romantic movie it has something interesting to give a fresh approach to the genre. Read the book guys, you will be very surprised.

The issue with KS being released on limited screens: hindsight is always good, we shouldnt forget the reasons why they chose to do so in the beginning. I for myself do not believe that it was what they wanted but competition with a big movie changed the game.

Any project of his should rather be surrounded by positivity, too much negativity is not good for the future & the success of his ventures. As for all the talk about Sonam as if she was the worst out there, it doesnt spell good trust on his abilities to judge talent in his costars, does it?

All the big roles with "big" costars & big directors, those things take time to happen, people have busy schedules & no one will risk his neck for someone they do not believe in. The "big" heroines, would they willingly sign with him in a movie right now? That remains to be seen. It is a good thing that he earned unanimous praises within the industry, all he has to do is to keep working on that & the rest will follow.

Maybe we need a deep breath & wait to see what will be announced next. That one movie doesnt mean that he will work exclusively with a PH, the rest hasnt been announced yet, that is all.
