The movie is bound to get mixed reviews because whether we like it or not, Sonam Kapoor is not one of the finest actresses we have. Her screen-presence has never been riveting, and from the looks of it, Sonam Kapoor is again portraying what she does best- a fashionista. Might be too early to say but this movie will be another done-to-death portrayal of a screechy character by her. Remember, Aisha, Bewkoofian, and the obnoxiously titled I Hate Luv Storys? There's never a cogent difference in her onscreen and offscreen persona.

Khoobsurat's saving grace will be Fawad and Ratna Pathak Shah. Also, I think most of us wouldn't have given a damn about this movie if it wasn't for Fawad. 😉
This man is here to stay, and I really hope he does. 😳

^^ Fawad's Bollywood debut attains incredible charm and dignity. He's spot-on as the tight-lipped prince, who refuses to let his emotions overcome his stately duties. It's when he finally sheds his image, that he weakens a bit. But, that's forgiven considering it's easy to slip into exaggeration in a Bollywood frame.

First real criticism... but not bad

She's some Sneha, a journo from Dubai. Ya sonam has got a lot of flak in this one

Ofcourse, FK is getting the praises. Not surprising at all. The man has the caliber to do so.

Now, i'm positive about FAK getting appreciation and getting the applauds. But sonam's acting has been criticized alot. And it might affect the film wrt WOM. Uff, hope the audiences think otherwise and like her and the movie

But, this is light-hearted entertainment, where logic and characterisation don't hold much prominence. Where a single kiss is enough to ruin one love-story and start another one.

I so wanna write few things in that Bollywood review thread seeing few people writing Fawad getting good reviews, but will restrain myself.

I have better manners than few jobless out there who hate on people just for the sake of it and mock people specially girls or women thinking they are brainless and goes ga ga over for a man's looks only.

yes and moreover Fawad is very subtle actor who does not go ott at any point of time. So obviously that delhi tapori attitude will not come naturally to him. But that is being mentioned in both good and critical way. so it shows that scene has impact.

I am not complaining much. 😆
