TFS everyone for sharing your finds.😳
Lemme go & give the folks @ Bollywoodlife lots of grief for trying to start rivalry & jealousy rumours between them. They always do that with Sonam & her heroes, especially if the project might look good for her & I find it disgusting. 😡

No wonder they keep asking dumb questions again & again in IV, just like that reporter from a few days ago did. They tried the same with Dhanush, he was so mad about that & it showed. There is no competition between them, they are in this together, for chrissake!

Fawad is looking dishy as expected.😛

Fawad is a truegentleman and once I read his ivs during humsafar days where he said I do nothave any opinions about others. And he spoke fondly and sincerely about Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam and their music and how these two became successful mainstream musician. So I am not surprised that he gave due credit to Shaan bysaying he is film industry in pak. It was evident in mahira khan show that he does not share much friendship with that actor but still generous enough to acknowledge. In contrast that actor few daus back lashed out saying their talent gets wasted in India and how he refused wrk in ghajni etc etc, in a way taunting all who are here for work including Fawad. I guess his qualities set him apart and thats why I like him so much.

Jeann you go girl👏..great effort in putting down the whole IV verbatim..man you have what is called patience😃 Lov you for that

jeannie.. WU de na 😭

Fawad Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the Radio Mirchi Studio
1st Ques: Is this a remake of the old film Khoobsurat?
FK: Tension ki baat tab hogi jab wohi cheez exactly ussi tarah recreate karein. Lets say aap ek... I am not saying the process of invention has died it is now just a cycle of reinvention and it always has been. Dekho over 1000s over years it is always reinventing the wheel. So when u reinvent the wheel uske andar aap apni ek rooh phook dete hai and that is what the team of Khoobsurat has done. Its their original take, its our original take on on...
SK: Kahaani bhi alag hai
FK: On what it should be and then again to top it off and the cherry on top of it is the fact is that it is a Disney Fairy tale, so that just makes things more interesting
SK: Fresher

2nd Ques: What were you doing before entering the television world?
FK: Uss waqt I was a rebel, a true rebel at heart. I used to like wear my hair this long and
Interviewer: Sonam he could have given u full competition bhai baalon mein
FK: I had matlab itne lambe baal hote the ki main lecture mein baitha hota tha to main kangi leke baitha hota tha just to keep my hair straight bcoz it was so long and so unmanageable but having said that the kind of music that influenced me while growing up was completely off the wall and very basically angrezi music hota tha zyadatar aur bohot alternative tha nature mein to woh cheeze jo hai na that became my influence . My influence sadly or not sadly .. I always feel ke culture insaan ke andar hota hai, yeh nahi hota ki aap duniya ke ek hisse mein baithe hai to aap wohi culture follow karein. If u want to become or if you want to bring some sort of a difference u have to migrate

3rd Ques: Tell us something about the music of the film
SK: Ji Sneha Khanwalkar hamari music director hai and she has a aur unki sabse best cheez music ke baare mein yeh hai ki woh sirf nayee music nahi explore karti, she is not trying to be new age she is not trying to be modern, woh India ke roots ko bhi laana chahti hai apne music mein, she likes different sounds to mujhe yaad hai woh Rajasthan gayee thi to record the sounds there so she could get that into our film, to bohot saare aise gaane hai film mein jahan bohot influence hai Indian folk music ka and the original track was actually shown to sneha by our director Shashanka Ghosh and Sneha had heard it in Rajasthan so they took it unhone uss track ke original lyricist ko unhone bulaya and unke saath hi baithke unhone lyrics ko thoda twerk kiya

Ques 4: Waht was the most difficult part of the film?
FK: bala ki sardi thi wahan pe 😆 it was and main salute maarta hoon jitne bhi heroines hai actors hai actresses hai jo ke itne patle patle kapdo ke andar sardi ke andar woh mausam ke andar woh pehen sakte hai, hats off to them
SK: shorts!! meri shorts matlab marnewali thi. sabse kathin cheez yeh hoti hai when u have to play urself so when u have to play urself u might make it into a caricature. to have that control and to not make it into ki yaar yeh bandi bohot hi zarurat se zyada paagal ho gayee hai. I think that was tough

bas then music playing and FK SK talking with the interviewer and laughing and SK hugging FK and them laughing and FK taking pics with his fangirls there of all age 😛

I loved Masand's interview... For once, FAK spoke more than Sonam and talked a lot of sense... also felt that Masand is not completely ignorant of the charms of this man!!!!
Also like how he was pulling Sonam's leg about her not watching his movie 😉

'Want to try Hindi, Pakistani, Chinese, Swedish and even Hollywood films', says 'Khoobsurat' star Fawad Khan.

After Humaima Malik made her grand debut in Bollywood a week back with 'Raja Natwarlal', stage is almost ready for another Pakistani actor to set Indian screens ablaze in a matter of two weeks from now. But Fawad Khan is not just another new face. Having received all the appreciation and adulation for his TV stint in the country, Fawad definitely isn't like another ordinary newbie.

'Zindagi Gulzar Hai' has already made him a household name and that definitely will help his upcoming film- 'Khoobsurat'. "It definitely gets your foot on the door! You speak of production, I think it is not just a mark. It raises the bar of expectations people have from you. As an actor, you would like to meet those expectations and not fall below them, anyway. for me, it is an honour and I am flattered with the way people have shown their love for me. I feel privileged which many people don't really get so early in their lives", Fawad gently explains how the 'Zindagi' appreciation has increased everyone's expectations from the film.

Being another cross border phenomenon, Fawad is keeping his options open. While he does not want to stick to a particular brand of films, Fawad wants to try out different avenues. " I am going to try everything under the sun because I think that this is growing up and I would love to! I did not have the luxury to see the world as much as I have had it during my career. I think traveling adds a lot of exposure to one's character, I think it opens you up to a whole new world. It is an education. The more you travel, the more exposure you get and the more you meet different kinds of people from different walks of life. Especially when you get to walk amongst those people without getting noticed, you get more chance of observing them. There is more chances of learning and not judging. I guess I am the last person who would judge someone. I feel if you travel, you get more liberated and educated. Your opportunity to judge also reduces by much because you are so much aware of everything. I would like that for myself, to work in a Swedish film or a Chinese film which might be a very big industry and I might not even know about it that much! I would love to juggle between as many countries as possible, as many cinemas as possible"

'Khoobsurat' being a remake of cult Hindi classic, comparisons are bound to happen. But the actor holds on to his ground and explains how the two films are different. "I'll be very honest but I had not watched the film until I got the offer. I watched the film after I was told about it. I had not seen it earlier but I had done my homework when I read the script. When I told it was a remake, then I did watch it to see where the inspiration is coming from", Fawad signed off with a smile.

This man knows how to put words intelligently...such a great thinker, words falls short for his praise but what can i do..his charm and sensibilities are irresistible..More power to him

Nice to know that he isnt judgmental where every other person around you are..commendable that he has kept his sanity intact working in this industry for so long
