Episode 10 should be titled as love hurts.
Two people suffocating in love as they feel their paradise is changing. It was hard to see both Asher and khirad suffering like that for no fault of theirs. Asher's insecurities and envy are biggest enemy for him and his marital relation. And to retaliate and in hope of being comforted, he chose indifference and anger to hurt a girl whom he claims to love. Its like I am suffeting , so you also have to suffer. Tit for tat to soothe my raging emotions, a very normal human emotion I duppose. But I have one glitch regarding this, why cant he communicate properly with his spouse? Its better to talk and sort out issues rather than being that unreasonable. Moreover if he was so jittery about khizer and his antics, he should have warned him to back off saying dude you are crosdi g your limit. I mean what was he getting constantly emotionally stabbing khirad?
Coming to khirad, I felt for her but she is way too naive to not understanding what her husbamd is jittery about. But I will not hold that against her as she tried to talk, to communicate just like any other woman to sort out issues. But all goes down drain. Her portrayal of gradually getting disheartened by repeatitive harsh behaviour of Asher was very well presented and portrayed. It was visible with each interaction she was pushed yo the wall and her happy bright life was getting dim. Well done Mr Director. Specially the last interaction where she says isnt it my right to deserve the answer as a wife? Asher was as usual rude, arrogant and I am not bothered. The man portraying it was top notch in those scenes. I wil not fangirl on Fawad's portrayal.
Today's episode also validated the fact here every antagonist was driven by their ego and had vengeance towards protagonists like a run of the mill story. Khizer hated Asher as he was rejected by his love thanks to her obcession, sara hated khorad for her rejection and ousted from her man's life and Farida hated the marriage as her marriage was once threatened for the association. So in a way, another normal human emotion is highlighted and caused the damage. Is it right or wrong? I guess ending of each will justify that. But it surely emphasizes on the fact that when negative traits emotionally takes you over, all of us are self destructive irrespective of being protagonist or antagonist of the story.
I hated Fareeda and fakeness and her cold brutal plotting , hated khizer the obcessive lover whose male ego was bruised badly and Sara has no control, so I feel sorry for her rather angry. Better I stop analysing them in these epis.
My most favorite scene when khirad stumbled due ro dizziness it was Asher who holds her tight and asked worriedly are you ok. Love hurts because finally you love the person and have immense expectations from their emotions, but it cares too and thats why for a moment he gave up his ego, his disturbed heartbeats to see the most precious person in his life is doing fine or not. A very subtle, heart warming scene to show love still wins over indiffernce and anger. Loved it.
P.can I just say Fawad and Mahira looked drop dead gorgeous and divine in white in that morning scene? Uff Fk , dnt look so good yaar. And Mk and her chikan kurta, I am jealous to get that.
the bg music is beautoful nd the song just gets stuck in your head. A brilliant amalgamation with scenes.
Tomorrow should pass soon with that horrific turning point scene. Painful and annoying to see. Not looking forward I guess.
