They rekindled after years and got back together, leading to him leaving Salma.

I know you're not..just saying it out loud for people who are 😳

Re them dating before he got married..how is that even possible? I thought Azfar had been married to Salma for 11 years or so when they divorced and Naveen is not old enough to have been dating him before that 😕

Also, didn't he say something along the lines of "ye 5/6 saal chal raha thaa" on the morning show at Hum?

Aside, I don't agree with Azfar (or any other celeb for that matter) when they say that fans aren't really fans if the adulation is conditional to them doing/ not doing certain things and behaving in a certain manner. Putting yourself under public scrutiny and moral policing is the price you pay for stardom..its not for nothing 🤓

Disagree. It matters quite a lot as some projects have tanked cause the actors simply didn't get on. An example is MeJ which could have been a great love story.

But there are exceptions as some actors can put their differences aside when the director calls action.

Oh ok. But if axtors do know their jobs and sincere to it I dnt think it should matter much. And I guess its true for any professional. We all somehow face this at workspace but as my own work is involved too, if I hold myself back for the colleague, its foolish. Work ethics is more important than personal dynamics I suppose.
Mata e jaan I hvnt watched, I like Adeel Hussain but dnt think the female lead is much to offer. Will reserve my judgement till I watch it.

They're both good actors. Just didn't get on with one another for some reason 😕

with reference to Fawad and Naveen, I was quite surprised when he said "not love"
I might have missed something, but from what I remember he used to really praise her for her work in HS and even mentioned somewhere that they had a great time on sets.

For that matter, even Sarmad Khoosat's recent interview revealing that things did not go quite right with Fawad was surprising. I know he had issues with the author of Shehrezaat, but I didn't know that there was no love lost between him and Fawad.

Have missed all the HS episodes the last few days on TV. Will watch tonight.
Initially, it used to be the episodes leading up to #11 which were my favorite. Now its the ones from #15.

Sometimes I still prefer episode leading up to episode 11 but than I love this episode where Khirad walks away from Ashar...I guess that probably is my favourite episode. Apart from that Humsafar probably had the best ending, they covered ending of every character well

@bold. That's what always stays with me. They covered every character well, and tied up all the issues so neatly.

So Khizar is here 😕😕
But he is kinda cute 😆

A few things I loved about this episode. To start with, the bond of Ashar and Baseerat. I have liked this bond of father-son since the first episode of HS. And the closure of Baseerat's character was just perfect. 👏👏

Second, the AK scenes, of course. 😳

It was nice to see Khirad silently supporting Ashar and him empathizing with her. It exemplified how much their relation has advanced and now they share an ideal husband-wife equation.
And also the dining table scene, where Ashar looks adoringly and proudly at the two important women of his life. Great job FK, your eyes convey so much. 👏

Second, when he dropped her at the university. Oh that laugh after teasing her. *DEAD* 😳
"Main jaaun?" "Nahi" Awww. 😳

And the "Ladki" scene. Oh, the things he calls her. Kal darling, aaj ladki 😆😆
That scene was really cute. The way he wanted her to be awake, and starts to make noises and haaye allah, that jump of his 😳😳😆
It just conveys how much Ashar is now attached to his wife. 😃
And tho I can't exactly quote Khirad as that was some heavy Urdu, but it was cute 😆 Basically she wanted to be exempted from wifely duties 😛
And "Aaj raat toh aapko koi nahi sone dega" was so suggestive! Naughty Ashar 😳

And my favorite was that last scene where poor Ashar is getting bored 😆
I mean come on Khirad, who leaves such a hot and sexy and loving husband for Maths! 😲😲😆
"Khirad tum kitini cute lag rahi ho homewrk karte hue" Awww 😳

And I in fact loved all little interactions of Khizar and Ashar, or even when Khizar was mentioned in front of him, as he gave these bang on jealous expressions! 😆😆
And when Khizar was praising Khirad and he was all like, "Humaari begum hai hi itni zehnat (that was the word right? 😆) and then he shifts closer to Khirad 😳 Possessive haan? 😳

And Khizar is totally getting on my nerves. 😡😡😡

isn't he? just goes to show he's played the role very well. I hate the guy. His face only bugs me so much as Khizar, that I couldn't bear him in Maat also!😆

All the bits that you mentioned, shows how beautifully they fell in love with each other. Slowly over time.
I can't remember but someone had commented while comparing with ZGH that it didn't make sense how Khirad and Ashar fell in love. I was like "say whhhat?"
😆
