@epiphany, I loved how you put Sara state by saying she was programmed to l8ve asher. Yes her mind was conditioned like that she would be partner for life for Asher the perfect man. She invested way too much emotions unknowingly that what the man himself thinks. As some one here said on first epi, it shows bad parenting that how children should not have fed with false hopes from young age that later it becomes detrimental.
I know she did many things which looked campush, looked too negative but somehow I cant just think about hating her. I cant. And Asher mom used her very cleverly to throw Khirad put, it was never about Sara for her too, she wanted to settle score for her insult by Baseerat.
Sara 's biggest flaw was she was way too impulsive and was never in control of her emotions as an individual. Love at the expense of self respect is suicidal imo and she failed to understand that till the last day. She just refused to move on worth an hope of illusion that the man will be hers which was timely indulged by people surrounding her including Asher in the early says of his marriage. So I do feel of asher khirad were victimized, Sara was as victimized like them and though her deeds were wrong but I do sympathies with her.
As for Sara , she grew up with Asher and both the sisters have this in mind , looking at their blossoming friendship that it will be turned in to marriage . Sara was sure told that Asher will marry her and i am sure Asher never knew about her mother,s intentions regarding Sara and thats why it was a shock to him .
Felt very sad for Sara who has this dream of getting married to Asher whom he loved to the extent of later becoming obsession . Zarina did told her when Asher got married . And she told her frankly that he never loved her . Sara was a mature girl and might be almost same age group of Asher .Sara was independent girl with mind of her own . Her mother only could have advise her , whats wrong r right . Zarina did all this . She even told Asher not to get involved with sara more as a friend . Her love was obsession which turned in to hatred towards Khirad and she was just blind where she could not think rationally . Her dreams were shattered . Asher being the soft hearted person could not understand Sara.
If only Zarina had a talk with Asher , telling him about Sara,s getting obsessed by him and he should be keeping his distance . Then perhaps she again would have gone self destruction way . You can not make a mature person understand .
All three were victimized , Sara became so blind in her obsession that not once she thought of her mother , so i find her selfish .
Should share a real story . that girl was 19 and was very beautiful ,quite reserved and was in college from educated and progressive family . She wa quite mature as her mother always let her kids take them their decisions but always there to guide them . Some guy from a very rich family was interested in her and very well educated . Had all the qualities . That girl also fell inlove with him . he used to come to her house and meet her parents . After graduation that girl got job in MNC and went to US for training. That guy told her that he will talk to his parents .When she came back from US that guy was pressurized by his parents to marry the girl of their choice . And he did not had any option , that girl tried to kill herself but saved and then that guy came and cried that he could not do anything then that girl let him go as she never wanted to come between his parents and him . Knew that guy did not have the guts . So now she is not bitter , working n a higher position . Never blame him saying it was good decision that time . Parents have major role to play in these kind of situations . Even when Khirad was accused , Zarina was not very pleased with whole fiasco but due to sara went on with Farida,s plans . So she is equally responsible ruining the life of her daughter .
