Feeling like something's missing now tht ZGH has ended! I knw it's so silly coz I can watch it online anythime I want, and it isn't even that I watched it for the first still, still...

I don't think I wld be able to relate tht much to another show, coz ZGH was so very real and relatable and teh characters especially Zaroon and Kashaf were flawfully flawless. Gosh I am inventing new words to describe dem!😆

^You are in the same boat as me.😉
Watching this show for the second time and reassuring myself that I can watch it online anytime I wish but still I feel a kind of void.Zaroon Kashaf have been so real and true to their characters that they have made a special place in my heart. After a very very long time I could like something to this extend on TV.So thank you Zindagi for bringing ZGH into my life and making it Gulzar amidst the boredom of regular routine of studies.Hadn't this channel aired this,I might have missed on to this one awesome show which is now very close to my heart.(Seriously I had never heard of this show earlier, just knew about Humsafar that it was the blockbuster show).

For Kashaf, although we may get pissed by her pessimistic and complaining nature but I can say that most of can relate to her at some level or the other.(Atleast I can)Frankly after watching Indian TV for some 15-16 years now,I haven't found as real character as Kashaf and I don't think I can find ever.
Zaroon, who wouldn't want a husband like him who takes care of his wife(he may be chauvinist but majority men are thats what makes him real) and pampers her a lot.He along with other characters had shown a great deal of maturity and towards the end you end up liking him more.Well in short i can say Z introduced me to Fawad whom I admire as an actor and overall personality.

Ok this has become too long...couldn't stop writing.😛

Oh one more important thing this show has done to me i.e. making me active on IF.I was always a silent member(but I enjoyed a lot seriously😆) because I try to avoid this or rather I am afraid of getting into the forums and all because I am scared to get attached to things and then later it becomes difficult to let go.
Uff spoke what was on my mind today.

Ah ZGH came to an end Must say i loved watching it on tv😳
Some points i wanted to mention in random order :P

1. I wish they had closed the loop about Asmara. Why was she calling Zaroon and what she wanted to talk about n all of that😕

2. Kashaf telling about her pregnancy was so cute😆 FK's expressions were so bang on when she said 'Im expecting'. ⭐️
3. The scene where he gets a flower bunch for her was so so cute😳 Which girl wouldnt want to be pampered like that😆

4. WRT that letter reading n seeing the SMS thing, I loved how they put across the message so aptly. Though they are husband and wife, there is something called 'giving space to each other'. I guess he dint mean to do it, but thought it is fine to check since she's his wife. But like Kashaf said, one needs some privacy irrespective of any relationship.

5. Oh yes, Kashaf was indeed rude when Z was asking about the loan thingy She could have politely answered but well its Kashaf so cant help it😆 But loved Zaroon handled the situation.😊The way he was trying to tell her that he's always there for her was lovely😳

6. Particularly, I loved Zaroon and his mom's convo about Kashaf and how gazala realizes she could have been like her. Kashaf is a working woman yet does every small lil work for Zaroon. It showed how happy Zaroon was with Kashaf😳

7. SS and FK were brilliant in the confrontation scene in the 25th epi. Wow. voice modulation of FK was BRILLIANT! The scenes were Kashaf tells her mom that 'she loved Z alot and they had a house filled with love' was so heart wrenching. SS was brilliant in all those scenes!.⭐️

8. Finally, the phone call and the next day morning. Their nok-jhok was damn cute😆 When kashaf asks "Tum mere liye nahi aaye" I was like Awww😆. The whole convo was adorable and FK-SS just nailed it😃 And the "Tum mujhse romance karna cha rahe ho" convo as well😳😆 Filled with cuteness😳

9. The last bits with their kids is my fav of the lot. the dialogues in particular were superlative👍🏼
Kashaf finally admits 'Zindagi Gulzar hai'. With that i think all of us have also got convinced that life indeed is gulzar no matter what😳

This show will always stay with me❤️ Its just not about only the actors or characters, Zgh was also about the beautifully etched story and the messages it delivered and striked the chord at the right places.😊 Like Kashaf says in the end, ' we need to learn to be happy with what we have and not waste time thinking about what we dont'.😊 LOVED ZGH❤️

It was lovely interacting with all of u guys🤗

^ Well said 😊

I loved the last scene with the kids and how Zaroon says he has got everything and his family is complete and it just shows dat for him paramount is aualaad and not beta beti nd it makes u happy for Kashaf dat she got a husband who values her and her daughters.

Ya there is a long wish list from my side too.

Wish they had shown Zaroon knowing exactly about why Kashaf is the way she is. Though it is assumed that he knows, but even a small scene would have sufficed, just like how they show Zaroon telling Kashaf abt his mom's lack of involvement.

Wish they had shown grandparents in the last scene, especially Kashaf's mom, coz dey did finally show Kashaf telling her mom to come and stay with her, like Zaroon had suggested nd which she had initially refused to do so. It gives a nice message tht it should not matter whose parents it is, they should be equally looked after in their time of need and loneliness.

BTW I am reading the novel.😆

The script is Roman, but language is urdu. I can read a bit of urdu and can read hindi fluently, but reading a whole novel wld be quite a task for me.😆

I finished watching Zindagi Gulzar Hai yesterday and started feeling so sad because it ended.
I was really enjoying watching Kashaf. I found us to be so similar and became attached to her almost instantly. Especially her attitude prior to her marriage with Zaroon. She used rudeness around Zaroon and Osama as a guard to avoid being hurt by men the way her father hurt her. I admire her for turning her entire focus on her education because she knew how important it was for her to be able to get out of her situation at home.

Also, when she overheard Zaroon admit to his friends that he intends on flirting with her and then dumping her, she went straight to him to confront him in the library proving her inner strength. Not many girls would be able to do that.

Every character in ZGH has played an essential role. I found Kashaf's relationship with her father very natural after years of rejection and feeling unwanted. It's only after her marriage with Zaroon do we realise how deeply her father's neglect affected her.

A lot of YT commenters were annoyed by her inability to open up to her husband. But it was natural since she had never seen a happy marriage through her parents. And she feared that sharing emotions would make her vulnerable. She was protecting herself as she knew her own parents were happy at first yet the marriage broke down eventually. She thought that by guarding her emotions, she wouldn't be hurt should things end badly. Gradually she realised that she had fallen so deeply in love with Zaroon that she couldn't imagine a life without him. Even when she thought he was cheating on her.

I suppose this is why I loved Zindagi Gulzar Hai. I normally hate stories where guy-girl hate each other, guy-girl fall in love. ZGH showed a very natural progression of change in just 26 episodes. Although the ending left a few questions unanswered, it taught us a lot about relationships. No one is perfect, yet if one chooses, they can make things work through patience and compromise.
