One more reason for low ratings can be that no show except ZGH and AZ did well. People loved ZGH because it provided the freshness to indian tv with its top notch story telling and amazing acting & dialogues. , it was something which we dont get to see here on our top channels. AZ was liked because it was a light hearted show. But zgh garnered the highest response for zindagi.
Honestly imo apart from these 2 shows other shows were/are not really worth watching, be it KMTBNH or KGBH. Even if u take a look at zindagi forum 99% of threads are about zgh we hardly discuss anything else.
I think rating will be further low next week because i dont see maat & noorpur ki rani clicking with viewers. No offence to maat fans but the show is highly depressing, it doesnt offer anything new. It has same old story of 2 sisters, one is sati savitri another one is no less than komolika and one not-so-good-looking-old-man. Maat is something which we see on our tv screen daily. no wonder it wont bring ratings to the channel. Channel needs to understand the reason why zgh is so successful here. Not every show will do well here just because it is a pak show, content is important.
