what happens when two people share same upbringing but have different perspective about life and relationships , this is what Maat is all about. aiman and saman both are sisters, share same house, upbringing , economic conditions but their perspective about life, relationships and money is totally different. why so? is it due to the company and friend circle or the maturity level.why their thinking is so different from each other.share your views friends.

I think its bcz of frnd circle. Bcz first epi me saman pata chalta hai na ke saman apni frnds ki tarah life jeena chahti hai aur aiman ko yeh bhi kehti hai ke aiman ki frnds to buses me aane jane wali hain. It is one of my fav serial. Love it.

Not watching Maat, but this is a great question for discussion.
Nature and nurture plays an important role.
Nurture might be the same, but one's nature is something that is big thing too.
In the same family, one child can be shy/introvert and another outgoing or talkative.
So when nature takes over nurture, the differences are huge.
That's what it seems like to me.

That's an interesting topic.
Watched a bit of Maat, not much though. But this I can say-the two sisters are poles apart.
I think everyone has different desires, different wants in life.

Aiman is happy with whatever little she has. Her idea-something is better than nothing. But Sanam wants to get out of this life. Her idea-why be satisfied with this, when I can have more?

well said nevah_mind. yes it happens in real life too, where one sibling is introvert and other is talktive.

exactly both are poles apart.one believes in honesty, love , respect and goodwill and other believes in money power and luxury that too at any cost even by stealing her friend's stuff .one is kind, loving and responsible and the other is selfish and irresponsible.

I majored in Psychology and studied personality during that time. Most people think that nurture is what shapes a person's personality; however, personality is in fact predetermined by nature (nurture only plays a small role). This is why you have variable personalities within one family even though they were raised in the same environment. These conclusions are based on studies (twin studies especially).
