I loved Moran in yesterday's episode!
Monami was awkward, unsure of how to behave around Karan, and avoided him, all the while trying not to hurt him.
'Baat karni chahiye thi kya? Bura na lag gaya ho Khadoos Shergill ko. Aisa behave kiya jaise main toh jaanti hi nahi use.'
Loved how 'Khadoos Shergill' became an insult said in ire, to a fond nickname.
Her small smile after Karan clutched her hand to taste the batter. His closeness was something she still loved and felt giddy about, even if staying with him was awkward at best.
The way she stared at Karan when he saved her from getting hurt. Staring into his eyes and seeing the love, the fear of losing her, getting lost in his emotions. And then, turning to the others, and maybe trying not to get hopeful of a possible future together.
Karan only had Monami in his thoughts. The way he wanted to ask her where she was going, but he couldn't. Gave teenage love feels- first love, too shy to talk to his crush.
His hurt when she walked past him like a stranger, and then the 'Bye' and keeping his head down on the table, as if cursing himself for not talking to her, clearly scolding himself internally for chickening out.
The way his concern for Monami baffled him, the way she was all he could see in the party, and the way his mood dropped when he realized she wasn't in the party. He was playing with the glass idly, looking like a kid who was sulking, and then his wonder when he realized that Monami had actually came back.
'Oh. Yeh sach mein waapas aa gayi.'
The fear and the comparison to the mission that changed him forever, the shaky words as he asked her if she was alright, and his clear desire to just keep her in his arms and protect her and hide her from the world and never let anything that even had the potential to harm her come close.
The words echoing in his mind, and him realizing just how right everyone was about his feelings, how much he cared about her, how much he loved her, and realizing how close he was to lose her.
His eagerness to tell her was like a kid on Christmas, all giddy with the love he had finally acknowledged was there, him rushing to her. The look when Aneesh interrupted him, wanting to kill him for interrupting the most important confession for him, and then the confusion and hurt as Monami smiled so big, and hugged him.
Loved him when he said 'Par yaar, wo toh mujhse pyaar karti thi, na?' (in the promo), the utter confusion. He looked like an adorable kid, who has no idea what the hell is happening to him.
Gaah! It was so good! Moran was just brilliant.

True. All true.
Yesterday's episode was sooo good.
@ Bold-color, yes. The BG tune also added to the scene. It was like start of something new & beautiful. When everything feels so good & bright.
Karan Shergill who is never short of words, couldnt utter a single word to her. He just kept looking at her.
For the first time, he was really unsure, nothing made sense to him.
Him, imagining her everywhere and "woh sach main waapis aa gayi.." uff..too good..β€οΈ
Though I felt the love realisation came a bit early(Early in the sense, I wanted to see more scenes of him dreaming about her & then denying that it was love) but the scene itself was beautiful.
Flashback to the scene of his brother whom he called his heartbeat and then looking at the chandelier falling on Monami & realising that she had turned into his heartbeat. That intense fear of losing her forever, even before he really had her. The music of heartbeat used in the scene...β€οΈ
His heart which he had considered long dead , was pounding so hard.
The way he said "agar usse kuch ho jaata, toh main mar jaata"..his world would have ended right then and there.
Karan is going to be an intense lover. He may be silent for a while or be angry with the new entry but I dont think it will be long before he asserts that Monami is his.
Love your analysis. Would really like it if you do it for each episode. Everyone always has a different insight to a particular scene and we all can share our perspectives.π

Mineforever no not mine never ππ I agree with how the love realisation could have been done after a few more conflicting scenes of Karan's denial about what he feels for monami but I at the same time feel ki stretch karna ka koi matlab nahi tha at times khatarnak jhatka like that chandelier incident can be enough for you to realise ur feelings jo shayad tumne kabhie notice ya realise hi nahi kiya ki tum main kisi ka liya tha.
That chandelier scene where he felt he could have lost her gave him a jolting realisation of what place she holds in his life . Real life main bhi aisa kabhie kabhie ho jaata hain not everybody takes years to realise πππ and vaisa bhi karan is born smart ππ€π€π€π€πππππ.
God I sound like a double dholki ππππ but kya kaaru haalat hi aisi ho gaayi hain kal karan ki harkate dekh.β€οΈππ
