I still feel hurt and upset....its soooo disrespectful and shocking that star can accept such behaviour...

There was no need to be so rude...Guys, I have already commented on Arshad warsi's twitter...if you all can as well then would be great! We should show him that all of us thought that Karan and Kritika were brilliant and that Karan's fans are behind him....and no matter who it was, Arshad shouldnt be so rude to anyone..who does he think he is.

He praises when the dance is good, doesn't when it isn't. Why can't all judges be that simple and straightforward? He's an awesome judge in my opinion. I don't get why you need to add "buts" or "ifs" in judging a contestant when he's your hot favorite. I really wondered at the start of the season how Arshad and Shilpa would have seemed in front of Vaibhavi who's SO good. But now that I look at things, I think I'd rather choose Arshad.

Vaibhavi's good, really no doubt about that. She's been my ever favorite since so many years now. Imagine how much I really like her if I put her on the same scale as Terence. But recently, with her comments to Sushant, and her inclination towards Aamir-Sanjeeda, I feel it going a bit sideways. Agreed every human being has faults, agreed that she can obviously like some people more too, but then she's been given a seat, a responsibility and she's GOT to be unbiased. Imagine I wake up tomorrow, go to work, find out I don't like an employee though he's excellent at work. So what do I do? "Fire him because I don't like his face? Or appreciate him because he's excellent?" I understand the situation is tight, but being where she is, she's GOT to choose the second option... And because every time she doesn't, she leaves me irritated...

You are right abt the judging aspect but there was no need for Arshad to be so harsh...

taking your example of an employee...if you are the manager and you dont like your employee...you wont say it to their face that I dont like you or that you suck at your job...

Instead you would smile at them day in day out and put it in a subtle way that you can improve in so and so places!

Arshad should have encouraged Karan and showed that he has faith in him instead of saying that no one will be shocked when i say that karan is a bad dancer...what is that supposed to mean.

Its degradable and unacceptable coming from a professional. Yes he shouldnt be bias but one can be unbias and polite at the same time. I was disgusted.

But my point is: It is true!! If someone is bad at what he does, I would tell him he is bad so that he can improve, must improve. What's the use of sweet words that aren't going to bring satisfaction to anyone in the long run? Sweet words that the other person would end up taking subtly and never improve upon. Seriously speaking, I love politeness, don't get me wrong. But I still believe that Arshad wasn't rude there, he was simply right. Agreed there is a way of saying things, but then, he DID tell Karan that he was an excellent performer with great attitude, such that now he really needs to buck up with his dance. My simple question is: What's wrong really in that? Now if Arshad had said you're a bad performer and will always remain so, or you're a gone case... Now THAT is a totally different matter of course!

Just to make things clear, according to the worldwide definition of rudeness - a state of being or mind which lacks the grace and refinements of a civilized person, lacking in education or knowledge or being ill-mannered or discourteous.

Frankly speaking, I found Arshad to be none. And then, as fans, don't we tend to overact? Karan never really even felt anything about it or he would have put it up on FB almost immediately, just like Sushant did after his contemporary because he felt bad, and in my opinion, was actually right about it!

I dont think Karan might show it to the whole worle how bad his feeling but might have felt bad after the show ended....
But honestly Karan and Kritika's Perfomances wasnt that bad either......They did a gr8 job......And Karan wasnt even that bad that the judges managed to give all the minus comments to Karan and plus points to Kritika.....

Wrong! I won't say wrong to your opinion, since that's obviously only yours to keep. I'll say wrong to how you interpreted my post.

In my really honest opinion, you can't compare an innate feature (here you talked about being dumb) with a work or happening (here the dance). You can improve your dance, any day, anytime by working hard, getting better at it and proving yourself and others that you also can do it. But being dumb is not a state of mind nor an act, it's a feature, it's in the genes, and it's something that you can't change. Watch again what Arshad told Karan: "Tum jitne bure dancer ho, utne hi ache entertainer bhi ho!" Note how the entertainer bit comes out AFTER the dancer bit, to highlight how he appreciates Karan as an entertainer, but also accepts that he is not a good dancer.

I think truth is truth. If Arshad's comment was simply an opinion rather than a fact, like Shilpa's one comment to Akshat which said she'd never accept his performance to be mediocre, I would have fully agreed with you! But Arshad's comment was not an opinion, it was a fact. There are truthful opinions, and then there are truthful facts. The former breaks your self-confidence, as you said, whilst the latter does the total opposite, increases your confidence. If I would have been in Karan's place, it would have initially felt hurtful and awkward, but knowing I am not a good dancer, and seeing Arshad really believes I can do better, I would go out of my way to prove I can.

However I guess, at the end of the day, there's a thin line between being rude and being blunt. Just like there is between being pride and being vain/arrogant. So I guess it would be subjective from person to person. What is rude for one, can easily be the right thing for another, whereas what is blunt for one, like in Siddhesh's case, could easily seem arrogant to others.

P.S I love that Ishan-Suhana avi you have. They're a wonderful couple aren't they? 😳

Now i have to disagree with you, being stupid, being stupid is no more an innate feature than dance, i know people who were considered stupid and then went on to become some of the greatest minds in the world, people who where different so the world thought them as stupid, i would consider dance to be more innate than brains, because your skill of dance is what is called in in born gift, while brains is something almost everyone has to grow with time, so its kinder to call someone stupid, because then they can grow, rather than insult a person saying your a bad dancer, because he may not be able to do anything about it.

Arshad did not mean it as a constructive criticism, you don't constructively criticize beginning your sentence with, no one will be surprised if i say your a bad dancer, it may be a stating of facts, but in the midest of your peers and friends, i'm sure it would have felt like an insult, and i'm sure Arshad knew that it was one. that is why he suger coated it with your a great entertainer. I know i can't change your opinion but in my most humble opinion, there are ways of conveying even the worst opinion in a good way, there is a famous saying by Lord Buddha, The tongue is like a sharp knife, kills without drawing blood. what arshad did was similar to that, he killed Karan's spirit without drawing blood or to say without making himself look bad by using those sweet words after this.

I usually won't defend a point so much if i didn't really believe in it. but i respect your opinion as well. i'm not so hurt because i'm a fan of Karan's (which is only part of it) i'm also hurt because it was not the way to express your opinion to a human being who is trying his very best to improve.

p.s- yha i love Ishaan and Suhana, they are really sweet and shows the reality of life as it is.

I agree with Sneha here...it is true that karan is not a very good dancer and that what the commetn was about. He cannot get aways doing comic relief in all his acts...The judges weren't at all rude to him and said it jokingly which he also took it that ways cos he himself knew that he wasn't a good dancer.
