I am seriously fed up acts in which south indians are ridiculed 😡

Theek hain..u show tollywood/mollywood/kollywood (whatever they call it)dances but its not necessary to paint the dancers black with twisted chotis {see rashmi in the image}

I hardly see any south indian shows ridiculing north indians..

I feel very bad after seeing such acts..its like stereotyping southindians :(

I get wat u mean...but I reli dnt think u should take it personal 😳
cuz they're actually just continuing wat was once depicted in old Bollywood movies😕...I dont remember which movie it was, but i remember seeing characters dressed up like tht so...
And being a punjabi myself, i do get very irritated at "Santa-Banta' jokes, and other such things depicting and stereotyping North Indians as all brawn and no brains...but i guess we just have to take it in our stride, and i reli wouldnt term it as ridicule, but thts just wat i feel 😛

well this has been happening from time immemorial. right from mehmood sining ek chatur naar. south indians have always been ridiculed and also somehow when they want to perform a south indian number it is inevitably done in a comic genre. there are many fast paecd peppy dancing numbers but alas thts not the case.

PS: who is the person in the middle wearing a saree.
