Round by round analysis and where boys went wrong.

Ok, I wasn't on either side, really. I just wanted the best performers to win... Here's my analysis round by round.

Round 1: I think both Bakhtiyar and Karishma were on par in the first round, but B had the edge over K, with his trampoline and steps and coordination with his backup dancers. As the judges said, K's lifts were a lil sloppy. So I think B should have won Round 1.

Round 2: UNDOUBTEDLY the girls were better, The girls strategized well by choosing two of their stronger players, who were also "symmetrical", in their body types. The symmetry b/w Mouni and Narayani just added to how good the performance looked. The boys' slight lack of symmetry and coordination problems took this round away from them.

Round 3: The Hum Tum round, barring Mouni, who was FANTASTIC, the boys deserved to win. Gaurav was fantastic. Vikas performed very well too, but his act was a lil sloppy because of Rupali. Amit and Jennifer, I didn't really like, because you could really see him struggling with some of those lifts and it looked sloppy from the part of both A and J. So boys win that one fair and square acc. to me.

Round 4: Face off round, no doubt Bakhtiyar was really good, but I think Ashita had the real edge over him. Her steps and execution was flawless and you could see B struggling at points, and why not, he had been performing ALL night so far, he had all the right to be exhausted. Moreover, Ashita had this enthusiasm and... I don't know, she just glowed in that performance. The girls won one this fair and square.

Last round - Girls were FANTASTIC. Some members sparkled more than the others of course, like Karishma, Mouni, Swini and Ashita. Their group act while choreographed well, kinda fell apart for me, coz their formations are all over the place and as always, coordination was shoddy. But it's hard to compare, as the boys didn't perform at all. But I think the girls would have won anyway, considering the margin in points.

I think, the boys mistakes were STRATEGIC more than in PERFORMANCE. Where they went wrong, in my opinion:
  • Betting those 300 points in the first round. They should have started with a mediocre amount like 100, 150 points, which would have allowed them to use their points to the fullest.
  • Sending Bakhtiyar for Tashan round AND Hatke round AND the Faceoff round. The poor guy was obviously EXHAUSTED by the end of the Face off round, and they still had one more round to go, where he was a key player. They should have subbed and sent in Gaurav or Vikas or someone for the Face Off round.
  • Of course, the walk out was unsporting too. I get that they were disappointed with some of the judging, but come on, we're all adults here. We have to accept that things don't always go our way and ultimately in a game, someone has to win and someone has to lose. The boys have only disrespected themselves and all their work for the past 4 months by staging a walkout. Not to mention, let down Amey and Chaitanya. [For more on that, read here: https://india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1047026]

Please note, these are purely MY VIEWS, and I'm not imposing them on anyone or judging anyone who disagrees with them. I just wanted to get my point out there. 😊

What do you think?? About everything, the whole show today?? I'm interested to know! 😊

i keep saying this: "i haven't watched the show yet", and feel really silly by commenting like that. hehe..
i just have to say that, you're right.. the boys shouldn't have sent Bhaktiyar so many times.. i guess they were just trying to maximize their points by sending their "strongest" player all the time.

Well dude i agree with u the boys were doomed from the start betting 300 points was the nail on the coffin n then they only send bakhtiyar to every performance i mean even if chetanya was sick n manish had a broken hand they could have sent amey, gaurav ,vikas, amit n ali. I mean it seemed like meeti churis vs bakhtiyar n not teez talwars. They were thick headed n that was all.

Yes....the boys would have been very more careful while betting points...though Bakhtyaar was outstanding...but the first bet still would have been of 300 points?
It was too much....I think losing twice made them lose the morale!

why isn't anyone complaining that they used Bakhtiyaar for all of the grand finale acts??? when the boys constantly complained about Mouni in 3 khallas rounds???!
I would say 100% that if Chaitu had performed for the face-off we would have had a different result altogether.
Bakhtiyaar does not find Ashita competition or any of the girls and maybe that is why he becomes overconfident in his dancing. With Ashita--she had more EXPRESSIONS! as usual! this is something Bakhtiyaar lacks completely. Dancing with expressions takes dance to a WHOLE different level.
I think what the boys did just because of Bakhtiyaar was immature and completely uncalled for.

Personally, i did feel that karishma had a slight edge over bhaktiyaar. Bcoz if u see d dance again, u will notice that he was repeating the steps and yeah i really appreciate his first part.......but performance is not based on a small part of the dance. Its as in the whole performance.......karishma had that full packed performance......so she well deserves the victory.............

I agree with alomost everthing said here..

1. Round 1: I think that video of people praising Bakhtiyar annoyed Judges .. you can't blow your own trumpet while competing and also the dance was little boaring. Still I thought Bakhtiyar coudl have won the round. BUT the major was overconfodence of 300 points.

2. Round 2 I could not see at all but I understand the girls were good.
3. Face off again Ashita's dance was so lovely .. she was just glowing
I don't know why they used Bakhtiyar for all rounds. Gaurav could have eased some load from home.
But the walkout was bad.. normally men don't behave like. Boys are known to be sporting. And judges ... yes Malika could sound harsh but I thought she was very blunt yesterday for all and 3 judges can't gpo wrong.
It was an unfortunate end of show.
