YVR could have done a lot better if they had toned down on Tai's killing spree šŸ¤¢šŸ˜†šŸ˜² , focussed on Karvi šŸ˜³ā¤ļø & shown their interaction with the rest of the characters which was as good as nill
The 7 year leap injected a whole new freshness to the show & the TRPs started to go up,but then the serial killer in Tai raised her head & there went the TRPs downhill 😭 leading to show being turned upside down & inside out overnight destroying everything they created over the past one year šŸ¤¢šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼

Bold: šŸ˜† yeah, thought so too. I just felt I had to prove my point. YVR started off so well, and had all the right ingredients to make a truly lovely story from beginning to end, but due to trps they kept making sudden changes to add a dramatic quotient in hopes of improving the trps for a short period, and in the process lost sight of the overall product. This left us with so many great character leaving the show out of no where, and new characters coming in without a proper foundation being set, and having existing characters loose screen space in which their characters could've been better developed. We lost out on many potential KarVi, KarShi and KarViShi scenes too due to this writing technique they were practicing. I felt they began aiming to high at some point while not seeing how well they were already doing, and in the process failed to build on the foundation they had to give us something even better. With this show, it was the writing I had the most issues with. That too after the KarVi roadtrip. Everything they covered in the past year could've been better handled in a two year span if written properly... they had great actors like Rinku, Ankush and Gaurav and a different initial premise. Also... I can't lie... I love doing research and trying to decipher numbers šŸ˜†

I don't care about TRPs either but TRPs do influence the course of a story which is sad, considering how writers are never able to tell the story they want to.It's šŸ˜”

BOLD- I remember that show. I loved the female lead, she is a terrific actress, What I did not like was the racist comments she received about her skin colour 😔. It was so disappointing to see how such a talented and beautiful actress was being judged by the colour of her skin. Shadeism is a serious problem in this industry, I really wish they would discuss it more and address it head on. I stopped watching it after a while, but I heard they changed the female lead to someone with light skin at the end 🤢

The latter show you mentioned was one of the best shows I had watched too. The story was wonderfully woven, with so many lovely characters. The female lead essayed her role to perfection. šŸ‘

Agree with everything
YVR had a lot of potential. They not only had a beautiful story but an amazing cast to carry it forward
But the makers just couldnt find the way to make it work & ended up destroying everything

Rachana was really good as Kalpi. But then they replaced her to up the dipping TRPs after which I stopped watching. The show wound up after barely a month.
Preference for fair skin, that is something quite deeply ingrained.Warrants a lot of time & effort to bring about a change

Mitali was very good as Krishna.I loved her bond with his father & her teacher.
Dehati,Bihaari & Pinky scenes were 🤣 I used to watch it with my mom & brother. It really was a very well made show

just updated the trp for this week... clearly a reflection of our dissatisfaction around the loss of KarVi and having Taayi win at the end... 😭

I watched Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. The characters were awesome. Ashish & Rachna chemistry was best, like Pakhi too.
