Quick questions: What is with this appeal around the bad boy and good girl? Kartik-Survi did not fit into this pairing, theirs were different... one with a a shared history of childhood fun made up of Kartik teasing Survi as a way of passing time. Ankush was too good in playing that stage of Kartik too.

I can't tell you anything about the appeal of it all 😕 cause honestly,I never found it appealingMore than bad boys,I really get hooked onto anti heroes.I have always found them more dynamic & relateable & Kartik's character in my opinion has always tended towards the anti hero & moreso after the leap which I absolutely loved.@ Bold Childhood friends growing to love each other, this I have always found beautiful & maybe that's why " Sweet Home Alabama " & " 13 Going On 30 " are 2 of my favourite moviesAnd like you said, that;s the shared history & childhood fun that made Karvi all the more specialAbout Kartik teasing Survi,I always felt it was beacuse Kartik liked her.I mean it might not be romantic at the time but then he always admired how mature & worldlywise she was & so he liked to have fun with her. Also with Survi getting irked with his antics,it made it all the more fun for Kartik to tease her. Also the scene after the plane crash, again made it look like,Kartik really liked Survi. In that scene,Survi feels Kartik is upto some shady business & Kartik gets really upset when Survi brings this up & he tries to clear the air even. Also the way Survi tells him about how she didn't care what he did for a living hurt him a little. At least that's what I thought 😕@ Blue That kid did everything about Kartik perfect

You are right. The anit-hero/heroine do always make a mark, which is why Kartik was well received. The hero/villains just don't have the same amount of appeal and ability to connect with regular people like us.There is something about KarVi that was mature, and their story easily captured my attention. The bad boy falling for the good girl, or the good girl rectifying the bad boy leading to a union is such an overdone concept... but still works among the masses... KarVi's too had hints of overdone love stories... but then again it was the acting that kept me coming back for more... and the way the story was adapted to include a 19 year old boy and 9 year old girl... both innocent, and built on a strong foundation of friendship... but, was far more complex and not set in stone...I restarted watching the series from the first episode and I recently watched the one where Kartik breaks into Survi's house in Dubai and tells her about her father being in jail... The way Survi started laughing was so cute... no matter how many years went by... she just couldn't take Kartik seriously... the fact that her impression of him went from that to a more mature love is beautiful. Roshini and Ankush truly were amazing in the early episodes... and their onscreen bond was so cute too (they seem so comfortable around each other, and seemed more like siblings)...I miss those days...😳

the appeal KarVi had... it took time to create... I am disappointed they put a sudden end to all of the work they put in...

It's like they put so much effort to create Karvi story & then they took it all away.It was heartbreaking
