Question: Why isn't Taayi better utilized throughout?

Like many people who have and continue to take part in this forum, I am a KarVian, and immensely admire SonKush's onscreen chemistry. Even though my first love in this show is KarShi, KarVi will always hold a special place in my heart.
The writers, cast and production team for YVR have done an amazing job in creating and executing some of the best emotional scenes between KarVi:

My top 3 (those that are the most innocent and emotionally charged)

1. Kartik and Survi sitting together on the lawn, while Kartik spoke about his plan for the future and his exhaustion resulting from his personal and professional responsibilities... while including his immense love for Survi, who he perceives as his strength and the only medicine he needs to care for his wounds...

2. Kartik and Survi meeting for the first time after finding out that they are going to be parents, discussing their dreams for the future, with Kartik planning on how his "daughter" will be just like Survi...

3. Survi imitating Kartik's role (from the Valentine's special): getting on one knee asking for his time, and catching him when he slipped (this was absolutely powerful to have the woman be the one initiating a romantic encounter and being the "saviour"- quietly stating that a couple is made up of two people who take on both the roles of the caregiver/cared to make a real relationship work, breaking down gendered expectations. Following which they took the time to start talking about why they separated. With Survi stating how she felt about it, with Kartik quietly listening and absorbing everthing (while giving his usual subtle but powerful reactions)

^ As amazing as the above scenes were, I would have preferred the circumstance around them to be different.

The actor who enacts Taayi's role is amazing- and she has proved it over and over throughout the drama- despite all the over dramatic and annoying story lines she has been given, she has played her role passionately and as realistically as one can= reason why we despise her character and its presence so much.

I want Taayi to be present, because she points out all of what is wrong with KarVi's relationship, but not carry out over the top plans... So we can see more of KarVi's scenes. I have said it before and I say it again KarVi is Yeh Vaada Raha's greatest boon along with SonKush's acting and chemistry on screen. Please continue to utilize it as much possible, so we continue to be entertained, while also balancing Taayi role in the series so it is at the very least bearable.

Also, if ever the YVR team plans on incorporating another leap (don't... please) I would prefer it if it is of when Kushi is grown up, and have the series revolve around KarShi, and a promise between this wonderful father/daughter duo- although it will be really difficult to find two actors who can live up to Ankush and harbandana's portrayal of them and their relationship 😊

One thing I want to add is that as much as I hate Taayi, I have to admit that without her KarVi wouldn't exist.
I just wish she wouldn't take up screen time in YVR to the point where we lose out on KarVi... I also want to see her, for once actually care (even if it is just the slightest) about Kartik

All of the Karvi scenes you mentioned,I love them all & agree YVR team has done a marvellous job showing Karvi's growth as a couple
As far as Tai is concerned, she is just so steeped in hatred & malice for Kartik & Survi, she feels everything she has done or plans on doing is justified.Survi, she can never stop hating cause she feels she is the reason,Kartik wasn't dutiful enough towards her & her family & Kartik she is gonna always hold him as a person who recanted on his promise. She & her husband cared for him when noone else would & so she expects Kartik to remain indebted to her forever

But then Kartik did keep his promise & gave her,his everything,It was only cause of her stupid plans that she lost everything & now she is out to get it back all over again. That's just not done
At this point Tai seems to be on a path of absolute no return.I have no idea what's gonna become of her

And undoubtedly Rinku has been a ;power house performer for YVR.She has been excellent as the malevolent Tai & equally funny in bringing out the comical side to her character.

And yes although she is evil, she has been shown to be wordly wise as well, the one to bring out the things that Karvi need to work on in their marriage. For someone who wants to break up Karvi pretty bad,she is the one who serves as a lesson everytime to Karvi & helps strengthen their relationship. And so,yes Tai along with Karvi is an integral part of YVR

Let's see what the makers have in store for the 3 pillars of YVR in future

When Kartik handed over all his property to Tai & moved out of Barve house,I thought now is the time Tai realises the gaping hole in her life with Kartik leaving, that she would now start to have genuine feelings of affection for him.But she is still full of rage & immnse hatred for both Kartik & Survi.Would have been nice though to see Tai as a loving mother figure to Kartik, seeing how Kartik holds her in high esteem, moreso than his own mother

I want for Taayi to finally, at some point begin to regret how she has treated Kartik and show having some sort of motherly insticts towards him. To top it off, I want her to ask for forgiveness and actually be the one protecting KarVi, while KarVi are in a position where they refuse to believe her, therefore forcing Taayi to be in a position to seriously work towards earning back their trust

I just don't want to have Taayi turn pure evil. I also want to see lots of comedic scenes with her and Pyare... šŸ˜†

As you guys have mentioned, I really wanna see a different, caring side of Tai. I want to see her repenting or maybe just see some type of weakness in her.
I know after seeing her try to kill Khushi and then Kartik during KrishTik track and now this torture that Kartik endured in Iccha track, Tai's redemption feels impossible. But then again, anything can happen in an Indian serial so I'd like a redemption track for Tai during end days of YVR.

I honestly hope there are no more leaps in Karvi's story even if there are more misunderstandings & fights to come. I'd also like to see the show ending on a happy note with Karvishi together instead of killing Karvi and start new story with older Khushi like they show in many shows these days.

For now I think after the last mentally traumatic and heinous Crime of Tai (Turning Kartik into a child), there is no way back for her. She has wipe away the line to redemption. One cannot expect a Leopard to change its spots which is typical of Tai and her character's development, Her descent into evil has been progressively heinous.

However, as per your suggestion it would be nice to see her redeeming herself, but it would have to be something really "realistic even in the serials world" otherwise it would be a token event that is really not believable and in keeping with her character. Here is a great challenge for the writers.

Whilst realistically redeeming Tai might just be too much of a challenge for the writers, it would be nice to see her siding with Kartik to prevent a third person from stealing his property away from them. A case of your enemy is my enemy for my own selfish reasons. However, the writers must NOT make the mistake of making Kartik and Survi gullible to Tai support otherwise its just repetition of previous tracks. What would be more interesting is, this time Kartik and Survi are aware of the reason for Tai's support and how then also double cross her. That would make for an interesting and comical storyline. We will be able to enjoy the exceptionally talented Actress being her evil best but also her comedic acting with the other actors.

yeah, it'll be nice to see Tai siding with Kartik against a Third person. I had expected something like this during Meher track. It'd be good to see if in future, they bring some distant relatives of Tai (there have been mention of some massis and mamas) or Survi so Tai and her Kartya can actually pair up.
but then again.. I wouldn't want Karvi to fully trust her. Like mentioned above, Tai may go through some change of perspective but it'd be better to see her struggle to prove that she's changed a little.
