Kartik sees Survi all sad & worried & gets it that Shanti is still being held captive by Ranveer
Ranveer arrives in Barve mansion,fakes being apologetic for his behaviour towarsd Kartik early in the day & convinces Meher that he in fact has had a change of heart
Meher asks Kartik to forgive Ranveer.Kartik left with no other choice relents
Enter Shanti & Karvi are stunned & emotional to see her
Shanti walks towards Kartik & completely ignores an approaching Survi
Ranveer declares that they are all now gonna live together.Kartik asks to be allowed to talk to Shanti in private.Survi gets to go but is stopped by Ranveer
Kartik tells Shanti how they have been through hell these past few days,have looked for her everywhere & they would just shiver when they would think of what Ranveer might have done to torture her
Shanti tells Kartik that Ranveer didn't kidnap him,that she went with him of her own will,that Ranveer was mad at her for trying to put an end to her life,that he loved her & she loved him as well
Kartik is stunned & tries to reason with her
Shanti then goes on to say that Kartik should move on & forget all about Survi.
Kartik is furious but Shanti wouldn't listen.Says he did it for his sister & now her sister is happy
Kartik is enraged & tells Shanti that he would never let Survi go & shouts at her for being purely selfish & saying such things about Survi,her friend who would do anything for her
Meher overhears Kartik & Shanti's conversation & tells Kartik to forgive Ranveer & let Sahnti live a happy married life
Downstairs Ranveer advises Kartik to let Survi go.Says he has 24 hours to act else he wouldn't hesitate to hurt Shanti.Karvi are confounded
Precap - Karvi are totally backed into a corner & are all tensed
Meher sees them & is suspicious
Kartik tries to convince her otherwise
Meher asks him to kiss her & prove what he says is true

They were trying it in turns to maipulate Meher.Finally Kartik wins & Tai & co have to eat all that inedible food Meher made
Kartik was like " Meher pehle tum ye khana khao.Mein apni dear wife ko apne haathon se khilana chahta hoon aur woh bhi mujhse pehle "
Tai is like " Yeh rasam hai.Rasams are not to be messed with "
Kartik goes " Meher mein tumhara kya hun "

Makes her eat all the food & says " Toh tum chahti thi ke ye jala hua khana mein apne pati ko khilaoon "
