Hello friends, I am Ritika.. Yes.. New in this forum... Actually, I thought I would write something on Karvi... But yaar their chemistry!!! It provoke me to write something on them..

So, here I will post an OS... Now starting with a OS, if I get good review then definitely will come up with FF/SS..

Okay!! So the thing is, I will post the OS tomorrow, could not able to complete it yet...

Till then you guys tell me whether you are interested or not... Please drop your comments, so that I can send you PMs those interested to read...

ONE SHOT

|| Yeh Vaada Raha ||

Survi was standing near to the glass window, it was full moon night, she was staring at the moon and her face was glowing in the moon light, the cold breeze was touching her milky skin making her shiver, her pink glossy lips were shivering due to the breeze and a curve was on her lips as if she was reminiscences something... Suddenly the clock stuck at 12 AM making a sound, she immediately turned at the huge room and her face beamed with a huge smile, she walked inside the room and went to the couch, she bends down on her knees and whispered, "Happy Anniversary Kartik." Her face was mixed with multi emotions, though her lips made a curve but her eyes were telling something else, it was filled with tears.

It had been a year when Survi and Kartik married, it was arranged marriage, though it was love at first sight for Survi but not for Kartik, he accepted to marry her for his mother, on the wedding night he himself opened up everything to Survi, but he was always loyal toward this relation. Though he never give her the place of his wife but he always took care of her being a husband, he was the best husband according to Survi and she always prayed to Bappa to make him her in every birth.

"Kartik, I know it's a compromise for you and sometimes you feel guilty but I believe one day you will feel the same way which I feel for you. And I am ready to wait for you lifetime.." She thought herself. She remembered how he always preferred her happiness first, how he supported her in every way. "I know Kartik, I am nothing for you except a good friend.. A friend.. With whom you can share your happiness, your sadness..." She whispered and suddenly she found a movement in him, she stepped back a little getting nervous.. But soon she found him comfortable, his hand was hanging from the couch, she slowly placed them on his stomach, "Kartik.. I.. I want to tell you how much I love you but I know.. That you consider me your friend only and that's why I will never let you realize my love for you, my love will never stand in between our friendship, I will never demand anything. We were good friends, and will be the same as long as you want.." Tears rolled out from her eyes, "I assume, you didn't even remember that today we completed one year of our wedding.. But still I will wait for your wish." She set his messy hair and went to sleep...

Next morning, as usual Survi came inside the room with coffee tray. She saw Kartik was still sleeping, she smiled, he looks so cute in sleeping. She placed the tray on the table and removed the curtain from the window, sun rays caught on Kartik's face which disturbed his beautiful sleep, she twitched his eyes and slowly opened them and stretched his arms..

"Good morning." Survi said this with a smilingly face.

"Good morning Survi.." He replied with his usual smile and looked at the window and said "By the way, nice trick to wake me up!!" Survi faked a smile on his comment, "Kartik jee.. Just look at the clock, it says 9AM.. Don't you have office today?? You were saying Kishore jee about a meeting.. Did you forget?"

Kartik woke up with a jerk and looked at Survi's expression and smirked, she rolled her eyes and gave him the coffee cup.. After finishing his coffee he went to washroom...

"Kartik you didn't remember the day..." She said disappointed and her smile vanished from her lips, her angelic eyes got wet but she maintain pain behind the smile and left her room..

Hour passed, Kartik left for office and as usual Survi was busy in her household work. It was almost 6pm, Survi was in her room. Suddenly her phone was ringing, she saw its Kartik's call. She received his call...

"Umm!! Survi.. I have forgot the file in my room, will you please take it in my office?"

"But Kartik.. Me?? You please ask Kishore jee..." She replied hesitate.

"Survi.. I have send him in some other works that's why I am telling you, you please take it no!! It's important.." He requested.

"Okay!!"

"I will send the car for you."

"Fine!!"

They hung up the call. Survi quickly took the file and walked out from the house and found the car was already waiting for her, she gets inside. After 30minutes of journey, the car was stopped near a deserted place. She was confused to see, it was dark everywhere but in the street light, she could sense it was some garden.

"Dada.. Why did you stop the car here? I need to go office.."
"Bhabhiji.. Sir asked me to drop you here. He is here only.." The driver replied. She got down from car and walked towards the garden, it was all dark around. She walked inside the garden but didn't find anyone or anything there.

"Kartik.. Are you there?" She called him getting nervous in every passing time. But didn't get any response, "Kartik..."

But again there was no response.. She again y again called his name.. Suddenly a some lights turned on, she lights were wrapped around the trees, it was looking beautiful, Survi was delighted seeing this when her eyes fall on a path decorated with the rose petals. A smile came on her face, her face beamed with happiness...

"Kartik!!"

"Jo kuch hai aasmaan mein...
Jo bahar hai mausam mein..
Yeh Aapka wajood hai..
Jis ke liye yahan khusbu hai inn Gulabo mein..."

The lines were playing in background. A big curve came on her lips.

"Survi.. This roses are waiting for you... They are thinking when your beautiful feet will kiss them.. So, just make their wishes true!!" She heard Kartik's voice from somewhere but didn't find him. She stepped ahead and placed her feet She on the rose petals...

When she came at the end of the path, a projector turned on in front of her.. There played some of their wedding photos, some moments which they spend together after their marriage, some cute expressions of Survi etc... Her eyes filled with tears of happiness, her lips perfectly curved with a smile.

"Khuda ne jab tumhe banaya hoga...
Hazaro saal dekha hoga..
Lakho saal nihara hoga..
Phir usne socha hoga tumhe swarg mein rakh le..
Lekin mera khayal aya hoga aur Tumhe Mere liye banaya hoga..."

Survi was totally surprised, she never imagined that Kartik will arrange all this.. She looked here and there but there was no sign of him.

"Kartik.. Please come out.."

Again some more lights were turned on and she was totally surprised... Everywhere was only Survi's photos.. The garden was decorated with lights and roses... There was wrote "Happy Anniversary Survi..."

Before she could react, rose petals showered on her.. She looked up, the petals touched her face.. She was enjoying all these.. After sometime she came back to her sense, her eyes were filled with tears..

" Kartik please, don't do this.. Please know you are here, please come out." She requested.

From behind Kartik came and walked towards Survi while saying,

"Fizamein jhalakti saam ho tum..
Pyaar mein jhalakta jamho tum...
Sinee mein chupaye phirte hai hum yaadein tumhari.."

Finally he came near her, they shared an intense eye lock, Kartik gently cupped her face,

"Iss liye meri zindagi ka dusra naam ho tum.."

Both were lost in each others eyes, tears rolled out from Survi's eyes, "Kartik!!"

"Sshh!!" He placed his finger on her lips, "Let me say first.." Survi flicked her eyes to continue..

"Actually Survi I... I love you.."

Survi looked at him surprisingly, she was shocked as well as happy.. Finally Kartik told those three magical words which Survi was craving from long time.

"What? What you told?"

"Yes Survi.. I love you.. I love you a lot. And it's not from today, actually I myself don't know from when I stared loving you. But I was afraid to tell you. Many times I get courage to tell you but I was afraid from losing you.. I was afraid, if you misunderstood me and left me.. But not any more.. Because I know, you love me as I do. I heard you yesterday night.."

Survi remembered that she confessed her love at last night. She was blushing and looked down..

"That time I decided to express my love today and on this day we will start a new journey and not as a friend but as husband - wife."

Survi looked at him with teary eyes, he gently wiped her tears, "I love you so much Survi.. I can't live without you.."

She didn't let him speak any more and hugged him tightly, "I love you too Kartik.."

They remained in each others embrace for long time, after that Kartik parted from her and placed a soft kiss on her forehead, "Now.. Come.. I have one more work left."

"What?" Survi asked confuse.

"Just let's go!!" He forward his hand, she happily put her hand on him and left from there..

The drive was completely silent but every time they were stealing glances.. Finally Kartik stopped the car, Survi looked out, and then turned at Kartik, "Kartik.. What.."

"Come with me.."

They climbed the stairs hand in hand, Survi saw Lata, Shanti and Srikant were already there, she looked at Kartik confused who gave her assuring smile.

"Aai.. Baba.. What are you all doing here? And Kartik.." But before she could ask further, she saw there was arrangements of Wedding.

"Kartik?" She turned at him when he bend down on his knees, "Survi will you marry me once again? Last time, when I married with you, I took the vows but I never keep the promises, so I want to cherish the moment once again with full heart."

Survi smiled happily and placed her hand on him. They walked towards the Temple and took blessings from God. The priest ask them to have seat.. The priest stated chanting the Holy and ask them to exchange the garland. Kartik Survi stood and exchange the garland and then took their respective seats. After chanting more Mantra, the priest ask them to stood up to take seven vows.

The priest chanting the Mantra when Kartik started walking around the Holy fire, he promised, "Our love has become firm by taking the first step. I promises to provide everything for you as well as family's welfare and happiness."

In return, Survi promised, "I happily takes the responsibility of home, food and finances. I promises to satiate all my responsibilities for the welfare of the household, family and the children."

Kartik promised while taking second round, "I promises to protect you and the family by all my strength in god's name."

In return, Survi promised, "At all times, I will continue to fill your heart with strength and courage. I promises to be your strength and stand by you in all tough and turbulent times."

In the third promise, Kartik said, "I accepts you as my wife and promises for our prosperity and wealth as a couple. I also wishes good upbringing for our children."

In return, Survi said, "I accepts you as my husband and promising that every man in my life will be secondary for me. My husband will be all and all for me in this whole universe.

In the fourth promise, Kartik confessed," You brought sanctity and auspiciousness in my life. I prays to God to bestow me and you with good children and grant them a long life."

In return, Survi said, "I promises to acquire happiness and harmony via respect, faith, mutual love and understanding."

Now the priest ask Survi to come first, she did..

"I promises to honour you with all the respect and love I can." She said.

"I accept you as my best friend." He said.

Taking the sixth round around the holy fire, Survi said, "I commits to stand by your side always."

Kartik said, "I wishes for your happiness."

In the last round, Survi promised that, "I become your spouse by the law of God, holy fire and the Holy Scriptures. The promises I made have been spoken with pure heart and pure mind. All the angels are witnesses to this fact. I shall neither deceive you nor will I ever let you down."

Finishing the promise ceremony, Kartik promised that, "By walking this seventh step with you, our love and companionship have become inseparable and eternal. We have experienced spiritual union in God. Now you become completely mine. I offers myself to you."

As they completed, Survi looked at him with happy tears, they took seat and then Priest ask Kartik to fill her partition with vermillion, he did and touched her cheek affectionately, they shared an eye lock when Priest declared them as Husband Wife. Then took blessings from the elders.
"Thank you Kartik." Survi said happily..

"No!! Thank you.. For coming in my life." He replied and hugged her happily.

Na chahe dil yeh toh uski.. na koi hai dawa..
Chahat mein dhadkan.. ki fitraat toh hai sharmohaya...

Hooo...

Uspar rab sa hai tu...
Teri har ahhate kurban ho...
Kurban ho...

Tu jo mil jaye toh...
Tujko apna lu yuhh... ke phir kabhi..
No ho judaa...
