Here is my two cents worth about Kartik's friendly gestures.

1. He was intimidating Survi. If a guy leans in close a little too close for comfort, a simple innocent girl is going to be intimidated and freaked out of her mind.

2. Kartik started this because he liked to intimidate Survi but in the process, he discovered he actually liked being that close to her. She doesn't have any semblance of control where Kartik is concerned and he kept it up. I mean really you have to be blind not to notice how utterly gorgeous Survi is.

3. To create confusion in the audience and Surv's mind. No one seems to know whether Kartik is coming or going! I have no clue.

I'm not sure if any of this is correct or I've read one too many romance novels...or I'm just a mature lady who is seeing things that aren't there...lol

It felt like this to me...hence my 3 points.

I'm a silent reader but I just had to comment.

The guy is not pulling her close out of friendship if we have to be real here for a second 😆. When he was trying to hurt her he did it as a way to make her feel his presence- if that makes any sense. It was to kind of go super close to her and make her feel something. He knew he would have an effect on her and he wanted her to know that too. At least that's what I took away from that.

Inside the train and outside the palace I think he did it subconsciously. Especially, the almost kiss scene in the train. He got on the train and both of them were just standing there staring at each other and he started to pull up close. He's definitely attracted to her. I'd go as far as to say he was attracted to her as Simi as well. Is it me, but when Survi was young I always felt he loved her as a friend. He had no other sort of feelings for her, which I appreciate. But now that's she's older he has feelings for her and is attracted to her. Also the Amerkot scene was no different. He meant to pull her close but I think he doesn't really realize how close he's pulling her or that he's cornering her and grabbing her hand. I felt like he did that without really realizing what he's doing it. Not treating her like a friend though. There's a certain distance you maintain as friends that you don't with your partner and all of it happens on a subconscious level.

And today's scene...(LOVED IT). What I though about the scene was that he wanted to again make her feel. Make her realize that he has an effect on her. I think he knows he's attracted to her and that she is to him because I don't see a point of doing all this if he didn't. He knew that if he leaned in like that she would feel something which is why he did it. He would not have done that if he wasn't attracted to her and if he knew she wasn't to him because it would have been pointless otherwise.

If he says friendship one more time, I am gonna lose it. Karthik, please, you're not trying to be friends. Be real! 😆. Trust me, if he thought of her as a friend he wouldn't be doing the things he is.

I love Karthik though.

I love KarVi so much. They are probably the most good looking pair on Indian TV. In my opinion anyway!
