This episode made me cry so hard, the actors are so natural. I also think it's also an empathy thing because I'm the same age as Survi so I could understand how vulnerable and raw she felt, because those are feelings I'm going right now. Her sacrifice, and her hurt and how cruelly her vulnerabilities were used against her. What I appreciated most was that when she was making the deal, she didn't have any mahaan inner voice or anything, she just had a flashback of some of the happiest moments of her life and those were enough to tell her what she knew what she needed to do. At this point we know Survi well enough not to rely on how's she feels being told to us, but through her expressions and emotions. What makes it even more realistic is that she wasn't like I have to this for the sake of goodness, Karthik etc. She recognised and accepted the hurt she was feeling, she didn't try to hide her tears or how she felt, she let it all out.
What causes even more sorrow, because even though Survi is mature and intelligent for her age, she still needs time to grow up, gain experience, become stronger, which she hasn't had the chance to do yet. So much pain and responsibility is being inflicted upon her at such a young age, we usually see someone a lot older than Survi take a burden, but she acts so much older, and in the midst of this we forget, she still has all the vulnerabilities and confusions of a child.
I'm glad that Aye's last resolve was that Survi didn't deserve this and that she should stop being weak. If we don't ever get to see her again, I'll have have more respect for her in memory.
Karthik looked really in shock, it was almost like he wasn't registering it at all, because in his mind he was denying it. I can't imagine how guilty must feel.
The letter tells him that it was him that made Survi leave.
If he hadn't uttered those words, Survi would still be with him.
