Dear Abir,
There is so much that has been said about you in the past 16 months. I am not here to take away from it.
I don't even know if anyone associated with your character is going to read any of this but I will say it anyways.
I just want to say goodbye in a way that a ML like you deserves. From watching you from a distance (until the episode where you closed your eyes and painted Mishti and I was hooked - don't ask if it was because of the anguish you projected or the way the actor playing you portrayed it or both because I don't know the answer); to the trials and tribulations you went through for your love and your family.
To quote Miranda Bailey, with all that you had been through, it never made you mean or cold or not care. It made you kind, caring, nurturing and loving. It made you one of the best male leads on ITV. It made you someone I wanted to watch because you did not manhandle your heroine or treat her badly or give the camera angry looks or show us what arrogant swag you had. I don’t think I would have been hooked if you had been anything like that. I ve watched enough of those. You were different.
As I watched your story progress Abir, you took my emotions and turned them into something that I couldn't recognise because they were a mixture of joy and awe, of anger and sadness, of loss and exhilaration. Again I do not know how much of that was you and how much of that was because the actor who played you just did great things with this character he was given.
Today as the show ends, all I want to say is Thank you Abir. Thank you for the hope, the wonder and the faith. Thank you for the memories; and yet again I don't know if they are because of you or because of the actor who played you.
The world needs someone like you Abir. So please come back if you can. I loved you 3000.
Goodbye Ajeeb Rajvansh, I will miss you. I will miss those shayarris you wrote. I will miss how touched I was when I heard them. I will miss how you loved with your whole heart and never held anything back. I will miss how you always wanted to see everyone happy. I will miss you terribly.
You have my heart Ajeeb Rajvansh.
P.S. bye bye SS, can't wait to see you tell new stories.
