However, another thing i noticed was that this show's DOP really focuses on the emotions in this actor's eyes; and i say this because previous characters did not draw me to the eyes like this character does. It is as if the DOP knows that the actor's face and his eyes shows a myriad of emotions and he does not want to miss out on capturing them and wants to ensure that the audience catches that too. So, the face and the eyes are just prominent.

And if this post adds to the "oh but she possibly cannot differentiate between fangirling over the actor and calling out Abir on his so-called faults" then so be it because I surely can; just I know what I am seeing and I see faults elsewhere too.

Lol With or without long hair, my love for Abir will never diminish 😎

I totally agree with the eye part: they capture emotions so well and makes us connect with the characters on a deeper level.

Aww the fairwell to mishbir 1.0 made me so emotional. Thank you for sharing the link. You are such an exceptional writer and you know mishbir so well ❤️

Although I started watching the show with mishbir 2.0, mishbir 1.0 made me fall in love with them both as individuals and as a couple. So I can't even imagine what you went through. It must have been so hard for you to say goodbye to them 💔

Thank you ❤️ the post often makes me very emotional 😳 never got that chasme vala that lambe baal vala charm back guess they went for good, sometimes I feel mishbir 1.0 must be laughing at 2.0 and 3.0 versions 😆😒 but somehow I am still here watching the show 😆

Like I said, the award for the most underappreciated man on ITV goes to Sha.

At times I wonder if anyone from his team or his crew sees this and tells him..what will he think.... then I am like just own the fangirling; who cares...

Hi Mimosa, lovely name!

Loved your thoughts about this show. I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said about Mishti and Abir!

I have watched over a hundred shows over last 2 decades including IPKKND and Naamkaran and my all time favorite show was Kaisa Yeh pyaar hai.
But now YRHPK is a serious contender for top spot in my favorites list, I feel Abir and Mishti are even more charming and unique characters than Angad-Kripa.

I loved Mishti from the start for the same reasons as you, she wore glasses which is rare in Hindi shows and she was strongly opinionated and determined to do what’s right uncaring of what the world would say! She’s a woman of substance, just the way I like!

Abir is the most lovable, charming and feminist male lead I’ve ever seen. His humanity, his unbounded love for everyone is just amazing! His poetic nature, love for music, art, painting everything matches with my own passions in life!
Yes, I’m glad too that I started watching this show from the beginning last July and finally caught up with all episodes after shutdown. Wish I would have started watching when show started airing and enjoyed discussions on this forum but well, better late than never!😆

Inspite of not liking the current track I’m still enjoying Mishbir chemistry and the wonderful performances of all actors especially Rhea and Shaheer. All my love goes to them for keeping me still hooked to the show.

Thanks for sharing your love for the show! ❤️

PS: I also miss long haired poetic Abir and bespectacled Mishti a lot. And I first started watching this show for Shaheer only as I loved his acting as Dev in KRPK.
