Wishing all our motherly figures a very warm, happy and precious mother's day filled with joy love and peace

The value and significance of a mother in a person's life will always be something difficult to express in words. Whether you are a young child, adult, a mother yourself or a grandparent - every individual will have at least one person (sometimes more) they regard and cherish as a mother.

Sometimes these motherly figures that enter our lives, are not in the conventional form we expect.

They don't necessarily have to be the person that gave birth to you.

Mother can be seen in various forms:

• Goddess
• Mother Earth/Nature
• birth mother
• adopted mother
• aunt
• elder sister (and/or cousin)
• teacher
• mentor
• neighbour
• close friends

and many more...

There are various forms and types of mothers on our show: this thread is to highlight those similarities and differences between them.

Mother #1: Durga Mata/Ambe maa

Mother 2: Meenu maa

Abir ki maa (biological)

Kunal ki maa (adoptive)

Kaushlu's motherly figure in the form of an elder sister: Meenu ben

Mishti's (complicated) Saasuma (the strained mother-in-law -- daughter-in-law bond)

Kuhu's mother-in-law (indirect) The underestimated bond

Ketki's fui

Mother 3: Badi Maa/Rajshri ji/Shaurya ka maa

Mishti's Badi maa (although not biological, her value is as equal to a true birth mother)

p.s this precious bond deserves a whole separate post❤️

Abir's Badi maa (before being his mother-in-law, she is his mother by heart n soul)

Kuhu's pyaari Dadi (in relation she is her grandmother, but they share a closer bond like ma-beti)

Kunal's real birth mother (although hidden from Kunal for all his life, it is now his biggest truth)

p.s this underrated relationship is yet to be properly discovered. Deserves a separate post

Abir's real mother figure (abir ki sakhi)

Mishti's dil se saasuma (Parul maasi and Mishti have accepted each another from heart to heart)

Kuhu's saasuma (tricky bond between the mother-in-law -- daughter-in-law, yet to be investigated)

Mother #5: Varsha

Kuhu's mumma (adoptive, yet raised like her own)

Kunal's mother-in-law (a sweet bond that is yet to be explored)
