The only sensible people who can see things for what they are, seem to be Meenu, Abir and Jasmeet (credit where credit is due). Also, probably Nidhi. She didn't come to console Meenu till the time participation was required. She was watching the drama from the sidelines.

They don't fall for Meenu's antics perse, but they do know the very real consequences of upsetting her -- all of them could very well end up without a roof over their heads or the luxuries they have gotten used to. I actually loved Meenu's nautanki yesterday because albeit melodramatic, it was a live demonstration of every point she tried to make to Abir on the terrace: It's easy to talk and argue, that I'm too controlling, that Parul should be my equal in the household, and that everyone would be happier if I receded into the background, but observe the reality of the situation.

Meenu feels entitled to authority because she put this family together and provided for every single person in it, and every family member seems to have a sense of this except for Abir. One of the prerequisites of mahaanta in these shows is indifference to money and priority to relationships, but the people who "don't care about money" always conveniently have truckloads of it on hand and take the source for granted. Meenu's drama yesterday drove the point home that none of these people should have the guts to take what she does for granted.

Meenu can do what Parul does but forget Parul, even Kaushal, the son of the house, can't do what she does. And it's easy to make the argument that Parul could have done it with the right opportunities (and it's a totally valid argument in the abstract), but it doesn't change the reality that Meenu has given them the life they have. Despite the fact that Kaushal is pretty incompetent, she doesn't humiliate or demean him but takes on his share of the work, provides for his entire family, and gives him status in the company. Nidhi and Kaushal are aware of this which is why they don't defy her.

The *only* person in the household who has a leg to stand on when it comes to defying Meenu is Kunal because he'd probably be able to support the family and maintain their standard of living without her. So it's ironic that he's also the only person who gets her and wants to work with instead of against her. I love that when Mishti tried the whole "everything will be okay" on Kunal yesterday, he told her, no, I don't think it will because Ma is not going to come around that easily. You know who he trusted to get this? Kuhu. That's why he asked for her help.

So true!! How did I not see this??🙆🏻‍♀️

The feeling about something like these had striked me when she had said the things about Kaushal handling the company. I was hoping to see a close-up of Nidhi's expressions but it wasn't shown. And then as soon as the feeling had arrived, it left with the tone being shifted to a more comedic episode.

Thank you for this perspective!🤗

I have a question about the last part you wrote about the conversation between Kunal and Mishti. I saw it as it was shown: Mishti being hopeful about things getting better with time but Kunal who knows his mother told her that she will not let this go so easily. Things are not that simple as MishBir are assuming it to be.

I am unable to frame my question. I'm basically asking what do you think the situation looks like from Kunal's perspective and why do you think he believes Kuhu would be able to help him?

Kunal's dialogues have been bugging me since the last 2 episodes. When he asked Kuhu for help and then when he asked Meenu to come with him to work but did not say anything more regarding the situation he put Meenu and Parul in. Then he went on to say sorry to Parul. It felt like he should have said more but he stopped himself.

dont know if anyone noticed kunal's insecurity about kuhu's feelings for him when he said to abir, 'aap love ke baat kar rahe ho kabhi-kabhi toh mujhe doubt hota hai ki kuhu mujhe like bhi karti hai?'

Yes, we all did, Peace. Meera and Sam mentioned it in their posts.

The question is that he has been insecure about this relationship since the leap but after this marriage, hasn't Kuhu been back to her lovestruck mode when she isn't surrounded by her insecurities?? So, why does Kunal suddenly feel like that?

I wonder if he means it because he never acts that way with Kuhu lol. He never seems insecure of his position in her life. I wish we got to see that side more. This dialogue comes off as just some writer not getting the Kunal memo because it's not consistent with his actions.

Regarding the RVs, they're not dumb, they're just happy with the status quo. Kaushal and Nidhi are happy to live under Big Ben's chhatrachhaya and Naanu enables his daughter despite talking big. Parul worships her too but it's not like her wishes matter. Same for Ketki.

I used to believe that the RVs would give BB a taste of her own medicine once they found out the truth about her but the truth is, they don't want to revolt. It's a lack of initiative, not intelligence.

He asked himself a valid question because he is very well aware of her indifference towards him and her attachment to anti-Mishti..
