Is the FL competing with Kuhu for Kunal's affection and she was happy that she won that round? 😒

She's happy that someone is punishing Kuhu when her husband refuses to. đŸ€”

Kuhu definitely crossed a line, but there is a difference between something tumbling out in the heat of the moment in a *private* conversation and a pre-meditated move to humiliate and hurt your spouse in public using your privileged knowledge of their biggest insecurity. Kunal gets to be as angry as he wants for as long as he wants behind closed doors, but the moment he drags their dirty laundry out in the open, he completely loses my sympathy . That's where I draw the line.

As much as I want Kunal to get a zor ka jhatka right now, I am inclined to think your predictions are on point. It sucks because Kuhu deserves so much better than this after everything she did for him.

@Nikki, you are right, that was another hypocrite moment for Kunal. He promied Varsha and shaurya he will keep Kuhu happy and here he is saying things that will hurt her the most. Today would have been a good moment for FL to continue her mahaanta, but I am glad she showed that she has some non-mahaan moments too.

Everyone out in the forum is mad at Kuhu but personally, Kunal's character is dead to me. I see no redemption for him. He can kick Kuhu out of the house for all I care at this point (because he's 200% capable of this; this was established in today's episode), because then at least Kuhu will be better off. My heart hurts when I think about all of the crap Kunal has put Kuhu through. He hasn't said sorry for any of it. Not even once. Oh the things men can get away with in ITV (and the real world)!

I say this is a win-win news because:

1. Hopefully ab writers will have time to better the plot

2. We will get a break from this disappointing track😌

3. Pehle khaali KuKu fam ko scenes nahi mil rahe the but ab kisi ko bhi nahi milenge, doesn't matter which show you followđŸ€Ș. So sab saath royenge and not just us.

3. We (atleast Meera, Nikki and I) will have to tolerate Ritvik's bad hairstyle for just this week and then it will hopefully get better againđŸ’‡đŸ»â€â™‚ïž

Since there is going to be no one to disappoint us, can I please request y'all to post HCs or short stories or whateverđŸ™†đŸ»â€â™€ïžđŸ™†đŸ»â€â™€ïžđŸ™†đŸ»â€â™€ïž

Saw his new look in the precap. Hating it already ! đŸ€”What have they done to Kunal’s look? He used to look so snazzy but now he looks so blah and bechara đŸ‘ŽđŸŒ

I never open the forum threads unless I see that the topic was opened by someone I know from this AT 😆

@blue : I am not surprised by reaction to Kuhu’s character. Majority of the ITV audience hates anyone who doesn't worship the ground FL walks on. Kunal’s character was abused left and right when he wanted to separate the leads but now that he blindly follows every order that the leads give him, he is called Laxman đŸ€Ł

@bold: That is the sad reality of life n it’s reflected in ITV shows and in reaction of the audience watching these shows. If Kuhu had said and done all those horrible things to Kunal, audience would have never ever accepted Kuhu or wanted KuKu to marry again. She would be tagged as a vamp for breaking poor Kunal’s heart. But since it was man doing all those things and he married poor Kuhu again, he is now perfect in eyes of ITV audience even-though he has done nothing to redeem himself or even said sorry. đŸ€”

This. Is precisely what makes this whole thing so depressing. You know you are watching a regressive show when the "villains" also happen to be the most liberated female characters, and the "heroes" are the ones who desperately strive to hold up the facade of happy patriarchy. So basically they are saying practical women who ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo are..*gasp* evil. I'll pass on that particular moral lesson, thanks. đŸ€”

Kunal expected Kuhu to declare her love and fight for him when that video of Mishti slapping him leaked -- the day after he had served her divorce papers. And now he's flying off the handle because she, the wife he promised to make his priority, mind you, said that for her to be there for him, he had to stop going to Mishti for advice. This was not an unreasonable request -- this was Kuhu asking her husband to help her the way he wanted her to help him.

All this time I was cutting Kunal slack because Kuhu wasn't communicating. Well, today she did and he couldn't even handle the tip of the iceberg.

I posted this Marilyn Monroe quote wrt Kuhu a few weeks back and it feels more relevant than ever:

“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”

I want to emblazon this on their bedroom wall. 😡

Here is HC for you guys, since that coffee flask scene further frustrated me. I needed a HC to balance it.

HC- You hit where it hurts the most!

Kuhu stood in the center of their room, as Kunal walked in. She was holding her ears and had an apologetic face. Kunal walked past her taking off his blazer and hanging it in the closet

“I am sorry Kunal, I know I shouldn’t have said that last night”. Kuhu turned and followed him. “I am really sorry, you know, I didn’t do it intentionally!”.

Kuhu said feeling terrible about the Mehul thing she said. “But you did Kuhu, you crossed the line. You know how I feel about that whole scenario and problems that man put my family through”. Kunal exasperated. “I know Kunal, and I am really sorry for bringing that up”. Kuhu held her ears and gave him puppy eyes. Kunal smiled too her hands in his. “It’s okay!”.

“Good!, now you say sorry”. Kuhu said, “Sorry, me, what for?” Kunal acted as if he was oblivious to what he had done.

“For today, the flask stunt you pulled today, in front of everyone”. Kuhu explained light-heartedly. Kunal dropped Kuhu’s hands. “Why, I didn’t do anything wrong”. He replied.

“Kunal you sort of insulted me, and that too in front of Mishti” Kuhu said a little disappointed at Kunal’s behavior. “Oh please Kuhu would you just grow up, it wasn’t a big deal”. Kunal said irritated. He walked away and started unbuttoning his vest. “It was Kuna, you sort of chose Mis”, Kunal interrupted before Kuhu could finish. “I chose Mishti over you, Kuhu please she is my babhi its not like I am not going to talk to her at all just because you can’t get along with her”.

“Its not just that Kunal, you know how I”. Kuhu was a little taken back by Kunal’s words. “Really Kuhu, I don’t care and I really don’t want to listen to you Mishti’s complaints right now”. Saying that he walked into his bathroom.

~Few minutes later when he came out, Kuhu was nowhere in the room. He looked for her in the house, she was nowhere to be found, he didn’t want to disturb the family member. Great now I am going to have wake up Varsha Ma and ask her where Kuhu, why does she have to be such a drama queen, Kunal thought.

A tensed and frustrated Varsha directed Kunal to a sweet shop close by the Maheswari’s house, she told her that is where Kuhu would go, if she was upset with anyone. Kunal goes there, he finds Kuhu sitting on one of the tables in front of the shop, she was holding a small ice-cream cup and blabbering on. Kunal moved closer, when he noticed someone sitting across from her. He couldn’t see who it was, but he couldn’t tell who it was, but he could see it was a male. He looked at Kuhu, who was crying. Her mascara had left streaks on her cheeks, her nose was red. He could barely make out the words, as her voice was breaking between her words.

“You know I have realized; I don’t deserve to be loved. That’s why nobody has wanted me in their life. Dad didn’t want me; mom didn’t want me. Varsha ma had to accept me despite the fact that I was a living proof of the mistake her husband had made. BM and BP started to allocate their attention to Mishti. Since she came, no one even game five minutes of their day, accept Varsha ma and now I see the same things happened at Rajvansh house. Kunal is ignoring me, arguing with me over Mishti, the same person, he absolutely hated enough to get into a fake marriage. I don’t know what to do. I feel as if the same things are happening, I am losing my relationships and that I will be left alone in the dark to fetch for myself”. She went on and on, her tears non-stop. She finally covered her face with her palms and started crying uncontrollable, while Kunal watched from afar. He notices the figure move closer to Kuhu, and pull her into a hug.

Kunal felt a shiver in his body, seeing Kuhu in someone else’s embrace, he noticed how the male graced her hair and consoled her. He could hear the small “shh, shh” the male was muttering. Kunal felt his fist fold in anger, he started to walk away, how could Kuhu do this to him, how could she share her problems with someone else and who was this someone else, He thought. Slowly the realization sunk in, of course Kuhu was here in the middle of the night talking to someone else about her problems, because he had dismissed her every time she had tried to talk to him. She had looked for solace in him, but he had only disregarded her and made her feel like what other members of her family made her feel. He started replaying the conversations he had with Kuhu during the functions of their first marriage and how she felt about Mishti, and realized that he had hurt her where it hurt the most. He took a deep breath, turned around and walked towards Kuhu.

If only that KuKu scene had gone something like this!:

Kunal hugged Kuhu. She wasn’t pleased, though.

“Kunal, if you want me to help, then you have to stop going to Mishti for advice. Please, it’s a request,” Kuhu said.

“Accha baba theek hai. Nahi jaunga Mishti ke paas. Agar koi bhi problem ho to sabse pehle main tumse baat karunga,” Kunal pacified Kuhu, running his fingers through her curls.

Kuhu smiled. This is all she wanted to hear. They broke their embrace, and Kunal took Kuhu’s face in his hands.

“Kuhu, agar tumhe koi problem hai, then I want to listen. Par baar baar Mishti ka naam lekar, you’re making your problems all about her. And that’s not productive. Mujhe jaanna hai ki tum kaisa feel karte ho. Yahi important hai mere liye,” Kunal explained gently.

Kuhu sighed contentedly. She knew that she had finally found her safe haven in her ladaaku chokro.

The expected lover boy Kuku Fandom was waiting for.

"Please thik ho jao Kuhu, I promise mein tumhe kabhi chup nahi karaunga, bas thik ho jao".

The reality husband Kuku Fandom got.

"It's getting boring now, please chupp, chupp ho jao".

"Tumhe Mishti ko hate karne ka ek aur reason de raha hun".
