Here is HC for you guys, since that coffee flask scene further frustrated me. I needed a HC to balance it.
HC- You hit where it hurts the most!
Kuhu stood in the center of their room, as Kunal walked in. She was holding her ears and had an apologetic face. Kunal walked past her taking off his blazer and hanging it in the closet
âI am sorry Kunal, I know I shouldnât have said that last nightâ. Kuhu turned and followed him. âI am really sorry, you know, I didnât do it intentionally!â.
Kuhu said feeling terrible about the Mehul thing she said. âBut you did Kuhu, you crossed the line. You know how I feel about that whole scenario and problems that man put my family throughâ. Kunal exasperated. âI know Kunal, and I am really sorry for bringing that upâ. Kuhu held her ears and gave him puppy eyes. Kunal smiled too her hands in his. âItâs okay!â.
âGood!, now you say sorryâ. Kuhu said, âSorry, me, what for?â Kunal acted as if he was oblivious to what he had done.
âFor today, the flask stunt you pulled today, in front of everyoneâ. Kuhu explained light-heartedly. Kunal dropped Kuhuâs hands. âWhy, I didnât do anything wrongâ. He replied.
âKunal you sort of insulted me, and that too in front of Mishtiâ Kuhu said a little disappointed at Kunalâs behavior. âOh please Kuhu would you just grow up, it wasnât a big dealâ. Kunal said irritated. He walked away and started unbuttoning his vest. âIt was Kuna, you sort of chose Misâ, Kunal interrupted before Kuhu could finish. âI chose Mishti over you, Kuhu please she is my babhi its not like I am not going to talk to her at all just because you canât get along with herâ.
âIts not just that Kunal, you know how Iâ. Kuhu was a little taken back by Kunalâs words. âReally Kuhu, I donât care and I really donât want to listen to you Mishtiâs complaints right nowâ. Saying that he walked into his bathroom.
~Few minutes later when he came out, Kuhu was nowhere in the room. He looked for her in the house, she was nowhere to be found, he didnât want to disturb the family member. Great now I am going to have wake up Varsha Ma and ask her where Kuhu, why does she have to be such a drama queen, Kunal thought.
A tensed and frustrated Varsha directed Kunal to a sweet shop close by the Maheswariâs house, she told her that is where Kuhu would go, if she was upset with anyone. Kunal goes there, he finds Kuhu sitting on one of the tables in front of the shop, she was holding a small ice-cream cup and blabbering on. Kunal moved closer, when he noticed someone sitting across from her. He couldnât see who it was, but he couldnât tell who it was, but he could see it was a male. He looked at Kuhu, who was crying. Her mascara had left streaks on her cheeks, her nose was red. He could barely make out the words, as her voice was breaking between her words.
âYou know I have realized; I donât deserve to be loved. Thatâs why nobody has wanted me in their life. Dad didnât want me; mom didnât want me. Varsha ma had to accept me despite the fact that I was a living proof of the mistake her husband had made. BM and BP started to allocate their attention to Mishti. Since she came, no one even game five minutes of their day, accept Varsha ma and now I see the same things happened at Rajvansh house. Kunal is ignoring me, arguing with me over Mishti, the same person, he absolutely hated enough to get into a fake marriage. I donât know what to do. I feel as if the same things are happening, I am losing my relationships and that I will be left alone in the dark to fetch for myselfâ. She went on and on, her tears non-stop. She finally covered her face with her palms and started crying uncontrollable, while Kunal watched from afar. He notices the figure move closer to Kuhu, and pull her into a hug.
Kunal felt a shiver in his body, seeing Kuhu in someone elseâs embrace, he noticed how the male graced her hair and consoled her. He could hear the small âshh, shhâ the male was muttering. Kunal felt his fist fold in anger, he started to walk away, how could Kuhu do this to him, how could she share her problems with someone else and who was this someone else, He thought. Slowly the realization sunk in, of course Kuhu was here in the middle of the night talking to someone else about her problems, because he had dismissed her every time she had tried to talk to him. She had looked for solace in him, but he had only disregarded her and made her feel like what other members of her family made her feel. He started replaying the conversations he had with Kuhu during the functions of their first marriage and how she felt about Mishti, and realized that he had hurt her where it hurt the most. He took a deep breath, turned around and walked towards Kuhu.
