I went to Kaveri's IG after I saw this post and looks like she is not in a good mood today. After I watching her IG stories, I feel like she is throwing shade at someone. 😆

They probably gave her curly hair to make Kuhu be the trendy and fashionable and what not because most people have straight hair.

I would like to imagine that Kuhu would find the saree in Kunal's side of the closet while looking for something.

She decides to surprise him. She tries to learn how to drape the saree from YT but keeps failing because the video seems too confusing. She decides to ask Ketu for help (because as Kunal said, they are besties and I have this HC that Kunal shares all his secrets with his Ketu-Setu that he feels too embarrassed to share with his Bhai or for any other reason. And Ketu found a sister in Kuhu to share all that she couldn't with Kunal). Ketu and Kuhu go on this saree draping mission with Ananya on video call and by the end of it, she is dressed up and looks great. Kunal is super late and kuhu is tired of waiting. She is miffed and angry as ketu consoles her.

Ketu leaves from the room to go sleep when she sees Kunal enter the house. He is very tired and ketu is fired up hearing the rant from her bhabhz. She stomps down the stairs and stands infront of Kunal, who is almost laid out on the sofa and loosening up his tie with his eyes closed, and shouts "Bhai!" Kunal's eyes fly open as his hands freeze on his ties. Ketu says, "Mai aapse bohot gussa hu" or something along those lines. Kunal stands up. He looks at her with a confused look and asks kya hua? Ketu is like "Kya hua?!! KYA HUA??! Ye to ab aapko bhabhz hi batayengi. Aapko ek baar bhi bura nahi laga na aisa karte hue. Sharam bhi nahi aayi hogi! (Imagine ketu acting a little OTT to throw Kunal off. It's supposed to a fun scene.) Saari sharam to aapke clients ke liye to hai ab". Kunal is super confused but a little worried trying to remember what he must have done to make the girls so angry. He tries to ask Ketu but before he can do so, Ketu sunao-es him a little more, making him scared and leaves to her room. Scared Kunal runs to his room as Ketu watches from her room and smiles widely. Imagine Kunal being scared and speaking super fast under his breath before he takes a deep breath and opens the door with his signature "Kuhooo?".

Cut to Kuhu standing infront of the mirror, removing bangles from her hand with a miffed expression and muttering annoyances. Kunal is stumped to see her in the saree and his eyes go wide whereas Kuhu puts the bangles down with force, turns around and starts shouting (not shouting but like annoyed. Scolding is probably the right word here but that sounds weird in this situation). Kuhu basically says ki "Tumhaare liye koi bhi surprise plan karna bekaar hai kyunki tumhe to apne office aur clients ke alawa koi dikhaayi kahaan deta hai. Tum ne unhi se shaadi kyun nahi kar li kyun tumhaara poora time to office me jaata hai. I know you love your work but jab tumhaari biwi tumhe itni baar call kar ke request kare jaldi aane ko to apni secretary se ye kaun kehlwaata hai ki tum meeting me ho?? Abhi kabhi kuchh nahi karungi tumhaare liye". As she says the last line, she removes the bangles from her other hand, takes Kunal's hand, makes him hold it and turns around.

Kunal who had been looking at her with dilated pupils all this while, not being able to register a single word, realises what is happening when Kuhu hands him her bangles and he holds her hand stopping her.

(Quick side note before I continue with this... Am I the only one that didn't understand why Kunal picked a grey saree for Kuhu if he thought she was like a "rainbow?" And grey is seriously Abir's favorite color? Boringgggg!)

"Woh....woh..." Kunal stutters. Kuhu looks at him, one eyebrow raised.

"Kuch bologe bhi? Mujhe bohot kaam hai, aur mein already pura din waste kar chuki hun" Kuhu snapped.

Kunal tried to say something, but his voice got stuck in his throat. He was too lost, looking at her. Kuhu finally groaned and yanked her hand out of his and stormed out of the room.

Kunal was left dumbfounded. He walked, lost in his own world outside his room and bumped into Abir.

Abir: "Arey Nanko, sambhal ke chalna yaar!"

Kunal: "Woh... sorry bhai. Aapko lagi toh nahin?"

Abir: "Nahin... lekin tum itne lost kyun lag rahe ho? Kuhu se jagda hua hai kya?"

Kunal: "Nahin... Haan, lekin aap ko kaise pata?"

Abir groaned and smacked his head with his palm. "Pakka tumne hi galti ki hogi"

Kunal: "Arey aap aise kyun keh rahe ho? Uski galti bhi toh ho sakti hai, hai na?"

Abir cocked one eyebrow and looked at Kunal with a "yeah, right" expression on his face. Kunal sighed. "Okay, fine. Meri hi galti thi. Lekin kya karun bhai? Office mein itna saara kaam tha, to obviously main ghar late hi aaunga, na?"

Abir: "Dekh, Nanko. Tum hi ne to kaha tha mujhse ki tum sab kuch importance Kuhu ko dena chahte ho, right? To usse importance de. Actions are louder than words."

Saying this, Abir sauntered off, leaving Kunal in deep thought.

I can't help it. I genuinely feel that the writers have Kuhu's epic love story planned. The only thing is I am not sure if the end game is Kunal, at least not this Kunal. Bhaiyopia blinded ladaku chhokro has a long way to go before he becomes her hero.

I do have to say that I hadn't expected the level of storytelling, the small intricacies and the layering we have found with these 2 characters and I really think that the writers have an idea as to what they are doing and where they want to take these 2(Baba ke doosre adhyaya tak to hoga kuchh). It's just very very very slow because they aren't the leads but I'm glad they are not the leads kyunki fir aisi kahaani shaayad nahi milti.

I'm so optimistic because mai jitni baar hope lose karti hu, these writers drop a bomb which renews my hope in them. Like even in the Parul-Kunal case, I get why it was important to fast forward it. Agar nahi hota to Meenu ka ye roop nahi milta and story won't move forward.

I have a feeling we will get a separation track where we will see Kunal realise he took kuhu for granted. It may not be in the way we might want or expect but hoga zaroor. Zyada optimistic ho rahi hu. I should probably shut up now🤐.

Ooh!! Collaborative storytelling/headcanon-ing!!! I like this!! Yaaassss!!!

I love that we're including siblings in the mix too. Hum to apni hi kahaani likh rahe hai. I'm loving how this is shaping up.

Going back to your first question, I don't think it's Abir's favourite colour. I may be putting too much thought into this but maybe and hopefully they picked the grey tone because of the scene where Kunal called Kuhu rainbow for the first time. Abir was painting and his grey colour got over and Kunal suggested that he use pink colour with grey.
