One thing I have learnt in my life is I am my biggest enemy. I am the one who had always kept me from growing.....even when other ppl had faith in me....I never had one.

Trust me when I say dnt take other ppl's opinions abt your looks seriously and tell to yourself that your are proud of your self. You will always have a distorted view of yourself if you let other people mess with your head.

I have read your posts enough to think you have understanding parents. Lol.....I am still figuring out how to communicate with my parental units.. ..😆

Sry I couldn't be more help.....but trust me when I say I get u.....🤗

Ohh Mini hifi dear i said something similar too... people judge you for every small thing its in us to overcome n start valuing ourself... 🤗

@bold - hifi even i had that problem but now i've come close to my mom so much that i can talk anything n everything with her... actually i dont even know how it started but we used to share small small talks n it became strong with time... mini try being casual n friendly with anyone dear its a long process from my experience but it just started casually i didnt try as in trying.. sorry if i'm being over advisory 😆

If u wear specs u r not normal.u r a typical bookworm..I want to know whether u guys believe in that..as a bespectacled girl, I was always considered bookworm..a person who doesn't have any other wirk other than studying..a person who is more or less like a robot..who has only one function that is studying..

I wish to hear from everyone regarding this.just becoz Mishti considered her specs as her identity,we love to see her in specs..but in real lyf,how many people will try to befriend a girl with specs..it's just my own personal experience,I'm questioning due to that🤗🤗

Hey I wear specs too ....actually people around me dont really bother about specs or no specs ...you have power ,you need to see properly , you got to wear them and that's all ...nothing more nothing less ...I haven't seen people having any opinion about me only because of me wearing glasses ....though I prefer wearing lenses for traditional clothes occasionally....that's my own choice

I have been extremely good in my academic life but was never labelled a book worm because of specs smiley36smiley36 may be first impression aisa padta hoga but it just takes 1 min for me to change the perception smiley17.... there are people who are book worn but don't have specs and vice versa...I really don't know what's the whole idea of befriending someone because of the specs... I mean why not, I wouldn't even think specs as a criteria , oh for that matter even looks smiley17

I used to hate the narrative they gave about people having specs in the cinema world....they used to show them as too shy or too intelligent to too dumb smiley36 But with YRHPK it kind a gave a different treatment to the whole narrative...mishti is as normal as any other girl , just like real life people with specs are ... smiley14

I know you are in college, just stepping into a different world, so I can understand all these thoughts very well , when I was living in hostel for some years , new set up , new area , new people....certain thoughts came in my mind too ,it happens, it's really natural ... it's a phase you aren't alone , we all go through all this ....right now don't think too much , just focus on your career smiley9 You know once you enter a professional life , you will miss this student phase like anything smiley9 so make good use of the amazing years that you have got

all I want to say is that try to be comfortable in your skin, you are talking about specs, there is a whole lot that judge others on the basis of their skin colour, hair and what not...beyond a point we can't stop people judging ...and trust me I have had such thoughts too.... beyond a point you will realise that it dosent matter what people say....at every stage you will find such people who will judge you on something, today this then something else

Even in this story if you see , abir didn't fall in love with mishti because she was a girl with glasses , it has more to do with her inner personality, he fell in love with a girl jo "genre dard mein bhi hasna jaanti ho " he fell in love with a girl who was a strong fierce woman...who never shies away from keeping her points across be it courtship or be it not going for eye surgery, a girl who is happy and confident in her own way ..that's her inner personality that has drawn abir towards her ....

So your real friends , the people who really love you will always admire your inner beauty and personality and will never judge you for all these things smiley31smiley31smiley31

Regarding the rest of the world , let them say whatever they want , who cares ...own your specs and be the boss smiley16

Sorry I don't wrote so much here but felt that I should tell you smiley9

Thank u uru for the advice yaar..may be I need this to overcome my apprehensions...I am working on my fears and insecurities ,I'm confident but not confident enough to handle taunts from others..thinking too much was always my weak point..i am really sorry yaar,I never wanted to exclusively reveal my personal lyf..but seeing a tweet that Mishti should get her specs back made me post all nonsense😆😆
