Rhea's clothes I have accepted that its never going to be fitted. Its kind of her quirk for me now. Kaveri is better at making sure her clothes fit😆

But my experience is all bad yaar.my mother wears specs since I have known..but nobody called her as bookworm just becoz of her look..but when it comes to me,I have been called bookworm often,the words like topper have been used to address me ..when I am not even that kind of person..ya I love books and I have been concentrated on books ,but I'm not a topper..sometimes I have to scream around that I am not confined to books..and my specs added fuel to already burning fire...even my close frnds adore me without specs,they ask me to substitute to lens..using lens is whole different thing becoz I'm a careless person,I may end up losing my specs..that's all together a different reason..

And regarding boys .everyone r my frnds ,they have accepted me with specs..in fact they don't judge me at all..but still there r people around..and one of my frnd thinks that I am very limited person...

Even I have specs Ammu.....and I never was treated any different becoz of that. Honestly I hated wearing one in the beginning.....I was a small kid....becoz the specs I started with was very ugly😆and I used to be blind as a bat without one......😆

My experience is kinda different.....people around me actually wanted to wear specs because they thought it was cool...😆😆

In college...I have many of my friends who wore one.....they had boys drooling behind them😛

BTW I was treated as a bookworm....not because of my specs but becoz of my personality and I always had my nose in a book. Studying is a different matter....because I never used to open one until absolutely necessary😆

I still wear one ....most of the times sleep with it too😆Ppl actually says to me to not take off the specs becoz I look like a different person.....I am like .....Whatever😆😆

Sorry I am not any help in giving advise.....but own your look it has a charm...buy specs with a style that suits you or which you think looks good on you...👍🏼

Mini a I mentioned in reply to diya's comment,I dont have any problem with my specs..I love them but everyone considers me as studious becoz of my look ..when I was not wearing specs,I was still considered bookworm when I was clearly not..u guys r lucky that u have got understanding people around..I I have only a few who understands me and doesn't judge me simply becoz of my actions or looks.

haha true fact yaar infact the people who are silent are mostly called as reserved not the specs ones... even i was called as bookworm once but i'm not at all a bright student or bookworm 🤣 like you even i read only when its absolutely necessary just bcoz of good score n completing work on time i was called like that even in college but i do all kind of things from cheating to studing the last moment before exam 🤣🤣🤣

Its because ppl who are silent are actually more interested in books than ppl.....I admit it was true for me....because my nose was always in a story book ...they were kind of my best friends..........LOL I even used it to avoid talking to ppl.

But I hated studying......even I use to cheat in class tests and only studied day before the exam.....Lol even during exams I used to read story books or watch movies......😆😆😆

The only reason I studied was because I didnt want to fail😆

Hmmmm......Maybe specs was never the problem....ppl will always judge you. Even I was judged because I was silent and overweight........After a period of time you will give zero fxxxks to what ppl will think abt you. Dnt let it get to you and dnt lose confidence. One thing I have learnt in my life is I am my biggest enemy. I am the one who had always kept me from growing.....even when other ppl had faith in me....I never had one.

Trust me when I say dnt take other ppl's opinions abt your looks seriously and tell to yourself that your are proud of your self. You will always have a distorted view of yourself if you let other people mess with your head.

I have read your posts enough to think you have understanding parents. Lol.....I am still figuring out how to communicate with my parental units.. ..😆
