Alrighty, so the show and mishbir's journey are yet again taking a new turn. I was wanting to do a review on last Friday's epi, but got caught up with real life.

Anyway, so now I would like to give a review on the last 2 episodes. Lots and lots happened, and there is even more things to analyse now. So many factors and character are invovled - there's lots to talk about. So without further ado, here we go:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Episode 3rd FEB:

MISHBIR milan

--Obviously all our favourites and the best part of the episode😳--

It just had all the emotions and simply heart-touching❤️

-One of the main points is that Mishti ran away solely on the basis of her gut-feeling and pure love for Abir. She wasn't pulled by Abir revealing Nannu's truth or any other pressure. She ran simply because her heart told her to. And that's the speciality of mishbir's love❤️

-Abir this beautiful gadhedo went to the mandhir instead of Mish house to stop the marriage🤣😆

Abir needed strength to tell Mishti the awful truth about her best friend, and so he went to see his next best friend - god ❤️He pours out his heart and emotions, questioning uparwale about why do the people we love n trust betray us with pain. oh man, mishbir both don't deserve such muggles on earth, they are just too good for this world full of hatred😒. #protectthem

-Mishbir hug just took all my heart. Like i've mentioned before, there was no words/dialogues, and no need too (their eyes spoke all that was needed). Their first hug was simply for the warmth, embrace, solace, comfort and ease for their heart and soul❤️, nothing else just feelings.

No questions asked.

-"Tum thik ho?"x2 Mishti's darr is finally put at rest at the sight of Abir. And she holds him tight and feels his face to reassure herself that Abir is truly there and fine. Whilst Abir senses Mishti's panic and overwhelming emotions, and so lets her find peace and comfort in his warm embrace and arms. Then it slowly dawns on him that Mishti is actually infront of him in her dulhan outfit on day of her SHAADI!

-Stunned Abir quietly asks those 3 adorable questions. And Mishti has nothing to answer but cute sobbing nods

YAS gadhedo! This Mishti... your liberated chorni is back! She actually had the guts to run away on her shaadi and WITH PERMISSION!😆

- hug2: just for Abir to pacify and calm Mishti's panic down🤗. Poor girl is been worried sick and stressed the hell out fighting her heart and mind between love and with family pressure😒She just wants to run get married and get away from all this family chaos😭👏

Families:

-Where has this nanko been hiding all this time yaar? Such a gentlemen😳. He has genuinely realised his mistakes and honestly trying his all best to mend his rishta with Mishti for the happiness of Abir. Here, just take it, just take my heart!❤️

-Kunal did not deserve that push/shove from Nish 100% wrong direction/writing. Very upset, honestly this sudden aggressive and possessive behaviour from Nishant did not settle well with me. Literally minutes before in the car, he was dead worried and extremely guilty about his act of leaving Abir with no help. And now he puts on this angry young dulha act infront of Abir and RV family. #badwriting Nope, sorry didn't like this.🤔

Tug of war/Mishti:

-Abir firmly, yet politely requests Nishant to let go of Mishti's hand. Abir's fire n determination is unstoppable right now, with Nannu's alcohol truth lingering in his mind, he conveys his anger passive aggressively, with those piercing eyes and stern voice.

-Hah and this wild Nishant has the audacity to argue with Abir right in his face, when he knows Abir has the ability spill out his deeds. Instead he continues to raise his voice and 'threatens' Abir to back off. #aiyoo #poorwritingagain

-Abir letting go of Mish's hand for the sake of saving her from more physical pain❤️ Itna selfess kaise yaar?😳 Clearly BP could also finally see the struggle Mishti was stuck between Abir and Nish. Lots to unpack here in this short scene (more analysis on this scene in my next post).

-Jasmeet's questions here are vary valid. Sure she was constantly screaming and insulting Mishti and Abir. But I don't blame her. She was already very skeptical and extremely worried about this rishta. Finally after all the convincing by BP and Mishti herself, she tried to accept Mish for Nannu's happiness, and look! Her nightmare came true, that Mishti breaks the rishta for Abir. She has the right to be mad.

-Next up BM entry. Uff what do I say? I can't add anything but applause and *whistles*👏 Every word from BM was just bang on target. A true mother like her, can do anything and everything for their future happiness👏❤️ Mish has got that fighting strength from the mother that raised her👏

-BP in his own way, is right in his intentions to protect Mishti from Meenakshi. He doesn't trust Abir to protect his daughter against the evil shades Meenaskhi throws at them. But again, not happy with the writing here. These two dialogues in particular:

"Is ladke ne hamesha hamare beti ko dhuk diya hai"

"hum Mishti ko apni zindagi ka sabse badi galti karne ke bacha rahe hai"

Bad choices of words said by BP, sounded like what Meenu usually says to Mish😒. But I guess I'll have to accept it due to his dilemma as the head of the family and a protective father.

-Once again Mishti is compelled to spill out her inner most fears, guilt and pain, now infront of everyone😒😭 Her deepest childhood insecurity is playing right infront of her, on the poor bachhi has nothing more to say but "I-I am sorry"💔 Felt so bad for her yaar.

Nevertheless our bold chorni, speaks her heart out, honestly and truthfully. BP finally begins asking the real meaningful questions - about Abir leaving Mishti for family.

-The calmer and composed Nishant we see at the end of the episode, is the real Nannu👍🏼 He practically asks Mishti what her real feelings are at this moment. Does she still love Abir or not? THIS is the friend Nishant has to be, not the possessive angry young man he was just 10 mins before.

And Mishti being open-book she is and gaining the strength she lost, finally confesses her love for Abir infront of everyone👏❤️

--- end of episode 232🤗

do leave your comments and share your opinions too👍🏼

Next up will be my review on the next episode.

I will also be posting a separate thread for a deeper character analysis at this turning point🤗

On to the next episodesmiley14

Feb 4th episode: Part 1

-Begins with Mishti's heartfelt confessionsmiley27 Honest and straight from the heart, Mishti confesses her love and her life is only Abir. She lays out all her built up insecurities, with a heavy heart she admits she broke her entire families' hopes, trust and relations by running away. All the guilt just piles up and pours out, that she accepts her fate and destiny - an adopted child never finds their home in their foster familysmiley19

note: throughout the previous episode, Meenakshi's expressions conveyed all the annoyance, frustration and usual anger/evil she carries against mishbir. Even at the start of this one, when Mishti openly declares her love for Abir, Meenakshi's face scrunches up in tension. However, the turning point happens when Mishti says "apna khoon toh apna hota hai, aur mein apka khoon nahi hoon" immediately there is a switch in Meenu's face. Something flips in her khurafati mindsmiley15 She tells herself that if she doesn't act now, she will lose the limited control she has left on mishbir's future.

Nishant's confessions

okaay soo this whole sequence of Nishant admitting his feelings, revealing his fault not helping Abir etc etc...was all too rushed in my opinion. Many mixed feelings about the flow of dialogues and truths that were revealed in this scene.

-The angry possessive young man act seen in the previous episode was made 100% redundant, IF this was the exit Nishant gotsmiley44 The understanding friend and optimistic person he is, automatically returned as soon as Mishti openly declared her love for Abir infront of him. There was no need for that extreme avatar.

-Nishant realised the genuine person Abir is, when he saw that Abir was not confessing his fake-alcohol act, their fight and car chase which lead to the accident. So he took it upon himself to own up to his mistakessmiley20 and confess he made a huge fatal blunder under his addiction to attain Mishti. He apologises to Mishti for not living up to the trust and faith she had in him as a friend.

That's it! That's all that was needed from him at that point. In my opinion, the next small scene required was Mishti's shock in Nishant's betrayal behaviour and Abir comforting her, mah family also grappling with turn of events, whilst Nishant requests some time alone and leaves after apologising again.

I disliked the whole 'goodbye' scene and don't even get me started on Meenu's dramatic temple confessions to accept Mishti as her bahusmiley44 Nope sorry, this was not needed so abruptly.smiley24

Instead a few options of sequences I would have preferred are:

a. Mishti and Abir follow Nishant. Mishti confronts Nishant about the accident. Nannu explains his dilemma, his insecurities and his selfish act to keep his best friend as a life partner. Abir and Nishant patch-up and Mishti consoles Nannu. The mah family then return home to talk things out.

b. Meenakshi shocked with Nishan't act, scolds him for leaving Abir injured. And in the heat of the moment, she admits their deal - Nannu's alcohol truth is revealed and everyone is completely shocked, devastated. Nishant tries to explain his feelings, insecurities. Abir covers up for him just like in the episode.

c. After Nishant leaves for time alone. Instead of Meenu's drama. the realistic approach would be: The doctor and police arrive searching for the ambulance Abir stolesmiley36 Upon arrival of the police, doctors and maybe the saadhus too, the detailed truth of Abir's accident is revealed. After which both families request time off to settle down, whilst Abir Mishti and Nishant meet later to clear the air.

-All the dialogues with Nannu comforting Jas, reassuring Kuhu and Mish and then waving bye should have been saved for later when mah family arrive home and allow Nishant to make his decision to leave after consoling and comforting everyonesmiley24 #disappointed

anyway..back to the actual episodesmiley36

I know I digressed and hit quite a negative vibe. So time for the small mercies and positive sprinkles in the second half of the episode.

-BM BP and Mishti's scene was absolute bliss. Perfect balance of guilt, fear, uncertainty, yet comfort and reassurance because ultimately true parents wish the best and happiness for their child. Mishti equating BP and Abir as the same who deeply care and love hersmiley27 BP admitting his mistake of not seeing the pain he inflicted on her, under his cloud of protection. He beautifully explained his dilemma and honest fear due to Meenakshi's previous words and actionssmiley32 He asked the right questions to Mishtismiley20 (honestly those questions/doubts need to be answered by Abir, but I guess we have to wait for Abir-BP real talkssmiley14)

-I actually liked Nannu and Kuhu's convo. The practical, level-headed Nishant did a great job trying to comfort and explain to Kuhu, that what happened was a consequence of numerous faults. Being the big brother, he tried to make Kuhu see that it's not just Mishti but his as well. Kuhu responded as any sister would who also knows the exact feeling of one-sided love and failed broken heart. Mishti constantly promised and reassured her that she would never hurt Nannu or allow the rishta to break, yet look what happened. Kuhu's annoyance with Mishti is understandable. But blaming Mishti again, is the wrong route from square 1smiley44(lots to analyse with her character's situation now, more in a separate postsmiley20)

-Kunal and Kuhu's scene was also very well done👍🏼 Kunal is genuinely trying to be a better person, be the bhai Abir deserves, accept Mishti for who she is and mend his equation as a dhamad as well. In all his attempts to fix those relations, he is forgetting the primary core link he has with mah family is through is wife Kuhu. He is such a kiddo, caught up in his excitment that finally things are brightening up for Abir and Mishti, that he is numb and indifferent to his relationship with Kuhu. Rightly so, Kuhu is puzzled and frustrated that no one is able to see the inner storm that she has been going through for the last 6 months. (lots to analyse here two with these two interesting characters, more in another post)

-Special mention to the cute short scene between Parul and Kunal at the templesmiley42 The mother-son bond is gradually building, slowly getting over the awkward phasesmiley36 super sweet.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

sidenote: smiley37why was everyone triple shocked when Nishant declared "Abir ka accident hua tha" smiley37I mean literally few minutes ago, Mishti said the same damn thing and the only reaction we got was from Kuhu. And now Nishant says it was a serious accident, and everyone just gets lost in Abir and Nannu's bickering over who's fault it was. smiley44no one tries to dig out the truth. (not even Meenusmiley3)

p.s honest serious question: How is Abir's accident Nishant's fault? Nishant did not crash into Abir's car. Nishant didn't purposefully cause Abir's car to swerve and crash. Like Abir said, it genuinely was an accident - Abir was distracted by his phone and so dodged the obstacle and hit the tree.

Life lesson: DO NOT USE YOUR PHONE WHEN DRIVING. no matter what situation, just don't do it!

Sure I understand Nishant's attitude and behaviour at the hospital instigated their car chase. So somewhere the underlying cause is Nannu, but the actual car crash isn't his fault at all. He's guilt of not helping Abir, which he owns up to and apologies for.smiley14

okay enough rambling. Sorry this wasn't as cohesive or flowing as the prev post. I guess it's the afteraffect of such a messy episode. No doubt this was a very chaotic and messy episode. Had some good scenes, with better potential, but ruined it with the forced and rushed pacesmiley24
