I hope parul will reveal someday how during Mishti and Kunal’s courtship Benba tried to create problems. And brought Naman during Mishti-Kunal GD. Cause technically after that day Kunal started hating Mishti.

Yes, for once, Abir isn't melting instantly over Kunal. I can only hope it lasts for a while.....lol both him and Kunal need that time out.

It was noteworthy that Abir didn't instantly melt even when Kunal supported him in front of Meenu and said that he chooses Mishti for Abir.....even then, Abir just walked away....bravo👏😆.....He shouldn't melt instantly just cuz Kunal is now supporting him over getting Mishti back.

In the long run, yes it would be nice if Kunal could bond with Mishti but he has a lot of growing up to do first.

No matter what Naman did during the Kunal-Mishti rishta days, nothing excuses the way Kunal treated Mishti back then.....he needs to realize on his own how pathetic his behavior was and unacceptable to speak to Misthi like that....he still regrets his mistreatment of Kuhu from time to time but he has never shown any regret for saying horrible things to Mishti....that needs to happen first.

Some in character, some out of character. But to hold them accountable for things their siblings did just because they did not apparently get to the root of the problem is really twisted interpretation 😕

At times? 😆

Ever since I've followed this show and forum, all I've seen is Abir and Mishti being blamed for Kunal and Kuhu's vile behavior.....lol if they try to guide them, they are called interfering....if they step back, they are then blamed for not guiding them enough🤣.....damned both ways. There is never any expectation of Kunal and Kuhu taking responsibility for their own misbehavior.

Kuhu has still shown some relative introspection from time to time on her own.......but Kunal has been a total asshole for as long as I can remember and every action of his excused by Abir. So it was noteworthy that this time he finally seemed to get jolted by Abir showing this level of disgust with him.....lol

Ofcourse Abir and Mishti mess up a lot too....but they have always introspected and tried to make amends as soon as they can. And they love their siblings a LOT....that is why they have tried to go the extra mile for them constantly....but that doesn't mean that their siblings should have no personal responsibility. Kunal especially really needs to move towards that big time....and it seems he may finally be doing that now.

BTW did you enjoy Abir finally getting rid of those bakwaas rangeen chashme? 😆.....that was a big relief. haha....now all he needs to do is hide Mishti ke contacts and make her wear her own chashme again😆.....PERSPECTIVE milega.

That said, I still feel jealousy is part of the issue for Kunal. This is not just male ego. He is over possessive about Abir and finds it hard to share him. Each time he is told that Abir loves Mishti so much, or as much as he loves Kunal, the resentment is kind of obvious on Kunal’s face. It’s like a child is when they are told that their fav toy has to be shared with a friend. That is how Kunal is....his entire existence hinges around claiming he loves his brother the most and when he hears of someone else being mentioned as getting that much love from his brother, it pinches him.

There is no other excuse for calling Mishti criminal. His mind is poisoned by jealousy, that is why he always believes the worst about her by default.

Still, his love for Abir seems to be his path to redemption since he is now making that effort for Abir’s sake even if he still doesn’t realize his own mistakes regarding Mishti.

I don’t mind the path being long 😆....as long as there is some dhang ka movement. I give him credit for finally trying to make a decision on his own.

But I still want him to struggle to get forgiveness or he will have no value for it. He is a spoilt brat who gets too many things easily 🤷‍♀️

No , I didnt go through the entire thread , just read your first post that's all 😊 had I read , I would have liked or replied to show my acknowledgement.

May be jealousy has a role to play, but I still believe that it comes from the kind of personality that he is , like you said he is a man child spoolt brat n all plus in today's episode when parul said that 2 months back your brother chose you , he felt guilty and now as a sense of redemption he is helping abir, the contrast that he has with mishti will still remain , though he won't hate her but just accept her in his life as his brother's love

Anyways just to clear , m not here to defend kunal... I don't approve any of his actions either , it's just my way of thinking is different than yours when it comes to the reasons behind his actions, that's all , we can agree to disagree there 👍🏼

Haan let the path be long, I liked it when abir gave no reply and deleted that sorry bhai msg , haan a msg wont heal the wounds like that...😊

For starters , choosing a right path was refreshing, lets see what happens 👍🏼

Honestly, I have a problem with the way the writers deal with Kuhu. Kunal is a total brat but most of his actions are at least called out. I mean he has been schooled by Mishti, Kuhu, Abir and now Parul. But Kuhu's actions are mostly pushed under the rug. Even with the email fiasco, Abir conveniently blamed Kunal (but primarily his mom) and her Janmashtami stunt never came out. I feel like the writers play with her character according to the track and she almost always gets away with everything. Which is probably why I find it hard to appreciate her character growth at times.

Agreed about Abir/Mishti introspecting and in fact paying for their mistakes. They are the only ones who get called out consistently and pay for more than their share of mistakes 😆

Haha I haven't been watching the show for two weeks tbh because the track was that annoying. I couldn't handle these annoying versions of Abir and Mishti. Am glad he trampled on those horrible frames and I have a feeling he will make Mishti wear her chashma after the reunion. Unless RS thinks TRP audience likes this glamorous non-chashmish version 🤪

@bold Deepi Agreed ..Cvs never taken her character serioulsy according to their track they change her character..even i find it difficult to appreciate her..when she said to abir becoz of kunal her brother life was in danger..she questioned abir abt his behaviour towards mishti but abir was also in a same position becoz of mishti his brother life was also in danger..though we know that mishti didnt do that to hurt him.I am not blaming kuhu in this show no one knows the whole truth only half truth then the makers use it for their conviniecne

Even in today's episode kuhu said meenu dragon saas..meenu is really a dragon saas but she was good with kuhu she never illtreated her..even kuhu was singing meenu bajans..this is the reason I never take her seriously

Hey, just to be clear, I have no problem with a different perspective either 😊. You are absolutely welcome to your own perspective on Kunal.

I think the jealousy is a part of this precisely because Kunal IS childish...he may be Meenu ka Munna in many ways but he has enjoyed the fact that he held the most special place in Abir’s life before Mishti came along....and just like a child finds it hard to share their fav toy, he finds it hard to share Abir. Kunal has never faced this situation before....Abir is loving towards many people but Kunal always thought he was uniquely special in Abir’s life. He finds it hard to digest that someone else can be equally special to Abir. That is where the resentment began....and yes, it got colored by the fact that it was the same girl who dared to reject him that is now the most special person in his brother’s life. Jealousy and male ego have combined in a toxic mix, helped along by Meenu.

Mishti’s personality fundamentally rubs him the wrong way because she is an independent minded and outspoken girl. She can’t be cowed down, so she is resented despite it being obvious that she is a genuinely loving and caring girl.

Anyways, as you said, we can agree on the fact that atleast Kunal chose a path on his own for now. But he does have a long way to go.

Haha you are still stuck on Kuhu? 😆 There are bigger issues in the show, man. Lol I guess to me personally, Kunal has always pissed me off the most since the courtship track days so it gives me more satisfaction seeing him get his comeuppance😛

That scene when Mishti slapped him and called him a LOSER👏😆....I was like finally Sahi level ka reaction mil raha hai ise. Lol and now finally he’s getting some justly deserved disgust from Abir and Parul. Much needed. He is the root cause of more issues than Kuhu is so it was important that Abir atleast realize how much he lost for a person who had no value for it.

Janmashtami incident toh I guess became irrelevant cuz Kuhu instantly regretted and tried to make amends to Mishti directly. Kunal is more psychotically consumed by his hatred of Mishti and that is why that had more long range consequences.

Kuhu and Mishti ki “sisterly bonding” has always been twisted so I stopped caring long time back 😆

Agree about Abir and Mishti being the ones paying the most for their mistakes. Like Mishti paid such a heavy price for telling this secret to Kunal. And Abir paid a heavy price and is still paying a heavy price for mistreating Mishti in the name of sacrifice for Nanko🤷‍♀️

Oh you should watch this week’s epis. Atleast the last two have been quite good with Abir realizing the truth and Kunal facing some consequences.

Yes, I do expect he will make Mishti wear the chashme as a part of the reunion 😆....I want to see how that scene happens. No, I don’t think RS will try to keep this “glamorous” Mishti.....they’ve established the glasses as a fundamental part of her identity. Those will deffo be back....maybe in the same time it takes for Abir to grow his hair out again too 😆....both of those seem like signature Abir Mishti things. lol

Haha I know there are many issues in the show but am stuck on Kuhu 🤣 The fact that she gets away with everything without being exposed and she also gets to give lectures to Abir, Mishti and Kunal annoys me. Maybe am prejudiced against her or I just can't get over this fact to appreciate her character growth 😆 Also I dislike how the writers try to pass off some of her toxic rants as normal sisterly nok jhok. Calling your sister a charity case or a puppy is not supposed to be normal nok jhok 🤔

I actually appreciate the fact that Abir and Mishti pay for their mistakes. They pay more than required which annoys me but it makes it easier to like them because they have been called out and they have paid for whatever mess up they did.

I did watch yesterday's episode after ages. I was extremely disappointed with the writing the last few weeks so I stopped watching because I realized things won't get better until the shaadi track starts (which seemed to be the sole motivation behind all the nonsense they showed😆). Am looking forward to watch today's episode too.

I really hope you are right and Abir and Mishti go back to their lambe baal and chashma because that's such a major part of their character and set them apart from the rest in a way.

Yes, the sole motivation was indeed a shaadi drama 😆.....as is always the case with ITV shows 🤷‍♀️😂, so I guess I picked a good time to start rewatching coz I didn’t have to suffer through the previous drag 😛

Let’s see how Abir makes amends now since he has really pushed Mishti’s faith to the limit, so he will have to suffer again in the journey of finding his way back to her. Usi ke liye lamba shaadi track 😂

Lambe baal I’m not as sure about, but Mishti’s glasses will definitely be back. lol it just depends how long it will take. But I agree, ideally, both should be back to regain the original essence of Abir-Mishti’s characters :)
