Its very much understandable that BP is worried about mishti. He is concerned about thinking meenu as mishti's MIL. He knows meenu's threat are not bluff either. But in that concern he is kind of forcing mishti to get married to nishant. No doubt nishant loves mishti and understands her to an extent. But to get over someone (that too abir) how come getting her married to someone else is a solution?

I had always seen BP as someone who is logical, practical and one with open-mind. He knows mishti still considers herself in-debt to mahs and cannot say no to him and BM. He is the head of the house, his suggestion is more like a decision for others. His suggestion is outright ridiculous. I have no issues with nishant here but honestly. Everyone can see the girl is still in love with someone else. I am not even saying he should consider abir for mishti right now. But simply bcos abir isn't good enough for mishti, ask nishant the stupid question cos he loves her.

Is she a ball or what? She is a human too. And meenu's fear has made him blind to mishti's state of mind. His is literally hoping to get them married in a week.

PS: If I may say so, Isn't BP too getting blackmailed by meenu in a way. She threatened him and he acted instantly.

It usually needs roughly 2 years to move on if someone is seriously in the relationship, they involve with other things in life like career before going into new relationships and wait until healed by time then only it will be justification to new partner/ relationship.

But this is ITV, they need to show content daily involving around current working actors so they loop it and already seen these kind of tracks in many serials/movies, seeing same and predictable story.

Agreeded.

If only it were not BP who came up with this solution I would at least tolerated this crap.

I am happy someone said it.Even I am disappointed with him post leap.I mean any sane peeson can see that Mishti hasn't moved on.Apart from that marriage is not the only solution for a girl. All Mishti needed was alone time to think for herself.

Even Jasmeet doesn't approve the marriage thing ...that explains how much illogical the shaadi thing is 😆😆

Theek hai shaadi track nahi hota toh abir ko dhol nagade ke saath aane ka chance nahi milta 😆🥳🥳 Anyways in our show when shaadi track starts then only then only the characters get their brain back so 😆😛

Can't believe for shaadi drama they made mishbir roam in the market here and there for whole week , gave brains only to meenu , made nannu fall in love in 2 days and then final BP bacche the toh unke character ko bhi thoda jhatka de diya 😆

Why is marriage a must ?? Why can't Mishti get a job or start up something n be independent??

I hate this idea ..so regressive ... where is women's empowerment gone ??

I think that bp got scared that after sometime abir will come to him and ask for mishti's hand and will manofy him too for this, and listening to meenu's threat he does not want that, hence this instant shaadi idea. 😆

But jo bhi ho bahut Hi regressive thinking hai Ye, not expected from bp atleast

They started this serial with concept girl/woman right to choice the partner and Abir supporting the same. If I remember ShaHeer's interview where he spoke about women rights and his character defends and all.. Now gets laugh what writers made it.

Hindi tv shows ALWAYS revolve around marriages and parties. it's been some episodes when there hasn't been a big tamasha, hence this change in BP.

There are still many families that consider marriage to be the 1 point agenda in life and this is why that's what's happening here. ek ladka gaya nahi ki start looking for another.

Women's empowerment never works in hindi shows where women make up most of its viewers. The way this show started is what attracted me and I was counting the days when it would give way to the same old 'no career, only crying, shaadi, saas bahu'
