Can anyone tell me, Does Kuhu know that Kunal was attempted suicide at mishti's bday night ????
Sorry! I skipped many episodes and just watched it "idher udher"š so, don't have any idea abt it.
This took a lot of time because I had so many thoughts but I have tried to make this as short as I could but I won't lie. It's pretty long. I didn't want to make multiple posts so, here are all my replies in one place.

I think you are right, it might be because of awkwardness between actors. I feel like they are cordial but not really comfortable with each other. Or maybe I just get this vibe because Ritvik looks very disinterested in his interviews. ( Which again maybe his nature but he seems like a completely different person while giving interviews with Shaheer, so I guess it again comes to his comfort level)
I don't know if he is disinterested in interviews or not. It seems to depend more on his mood. In some interviews, he is very enthusiastic and in others, he isn't. We'll never really know.
His relationship with Shaheer is pretty strong because they have maximum scenes with each other. I don't think the number of scenes Shah has done with Rhea even come close to the scenes with Ritvik. I'm exaggerating. 19-20 ka hi farak hoga. And I don't know if the reason behind his bonding with the boys comes from the fact he studied in a boy's schoolš¤Ø.

But it was really sweet that Kaveri's fans sent her so many supportive messages for her on Valentine's day. That was really sweet and she shared so many of them in her stories. She really loves and appreciates her fans' efforts. And from the live video, I did get the vibe that she is not happy with how her character is shaping up, which is understandable as her character lacks consistency. And the dialogues they give Kuhu sometimes are just
Dang it! But koi nahi. Hum hints se hi kaam chala lenge.
I think she is the only one who replies to messages. The effort she puts in shows how much she appreciates her fans. She's a cutie!š
Anyone else getting annoyed at all the hate that is directed at Kuhu on this forum, like some nonsensical hate. You know whos are now mad that Kuhu pointed out that Mishti cant cook and they are all like who made her an expert. It kind of irks me that I cant go out on this forums, because of all the snarky comments I want to leave but dont because I know the result.
I don't think its the actors, its more of the writer and director, todays scene was put in just to keep the Kuku fandom calm. Also, looking at the situation and storyline now it I will get it if both the actors decide to call it quits. I mean the biggest track for Kunal was him finding out his truth and that was used for Mishbir. Track for Kuku divorce again washed out for Mishbir. I really dont want Kuku to become side kick. Writers need to really give Kuku a better storyline and direction. Whether its Kunal focused or Kuhu focused it just needs to be separated from Mishbir.
Kunal needs to go to the office and away from the kitchen drama.
Future track I wont mind seeing is either Meenakshi disowning Kunal and Parul or Kunal walking out of Rajvansh, and a track where Kunal finds his own identity.
Bold-1: Me!! Me!! Me!!šš»āāļø I still do read all the general posts and I do pop in and check the MishBir AT and LU thread just to see if people have calmed down. The situation is a bit better than before but not completely. This'll take time.
Also, I have made it a point to make the posts as inclusive of both fandoms and generally about the episodes if and when I do decide to post on the forum. And I put up a no negative nonsense disclaimer at the beginning so people who want to bash don't reply only. Win!! Win!!
Bold-2: So true!! Those were such good and different storylines and they completely watered it down. It's such a shameš. How is Red Pear Travels running?? Thode time me Uima Patel will take over the company.

Just watched the episode -- yes, the whole episode.
Been a while since I did that.
This panicked Mishti is very endearing. They are finally exploring her abandonment issues and I am so on board! I am unspeakably glad they didn't make her the bahu who is overconfident about "fixing" her sasural the day she lands there -- this is so much more interesting! And I am especially happy about the precap. It's *both* the sisters being triggered by Meenu and turning against each other rather than one being the vamp and one the victim. SO. MUCH. BETTER. Give me ALL the flawed females
@aqua, totally agree about the rasoi thing
It was so cool that Mishti not knowing how to cook wasn't a big deal, and that Kuhu mentioned that it was because she simply had other interests. I loved what Meenu said about rasoi not being the pehchan in their house. She may be a tyrannical despot whose power has gone to her head, but she has her moments!
The Kuhu-Meenu-haar bit was really well done. Here's the thing, Meenu hasn't harassed Kuhu any less than she has Mishti -- the girl ended up in a sham marriage and was the victim of Meenu's fraud via Kunal. Shouldn't Meenu be just as eager to make it up to her? The way Meenu is phrasing it makes it seem like Mishti is being rewarded simply because her pain was public, and Kuhu's understanding is being taken for granted. For once, they did a really good job of showing how this triggered Kuhu, as a rehash of Mishti's arrival in her house, how she was expected to understand why Mishti got Kuhu's share along with her own.
It's also interesting that there is a role reversal in this house. At the Maheshwaris' Kuhu felt less acknowledged because she was always hearing Mishti's gungaan (BP and BM's overcompensation at work), but here it's Mishti who is constantly hearing Kuhu's praises. This hits her insecurities hard because she is already so stressed about whether she'll be able to cut it as an RV bahu. Meenu is tipping the vulnerability that could unite them into insecurity that will tear them apart. Finally! A saazish I can appreciate for it's subtle genius!
Finally to our cuties
I don't think the awkwardness has anything to do with the actors; it's more about where their relationship is atm. All this time, they were in love but trying desperately to hide it from each other, so any physical demonstration came only in moments of intense emotion, when they absolutely couldn't control it and because it was pent up, it was all the more intense when it happened. You are way more self-conscious and likely to overanalyse and hesitate when the situation isn't super charged, life/death. These two are still learning what it means to be in love all day, every day and I think that's adorable.
Bold-1&2: So on board!! I am actually glad that it's both of them in an uncomfortable position warna I would've been so annoyed. Meenu is one badass villian who keeps failingš. I like Meenu as an antagonist only for the fact that atleast her plans are creative. They don't follow the same ghisa pita route of other ITV shows otherwise it would've been so boring.
Bold-3: I know, right?! Cooking is not the only trait you require as a girl. You can have other interests and that is absolutely fine. And even though I know, she will come up with a great dish in tomorrow's episode without knowing how to cook and win the competition somehow because ITV show hai and khaana pakaana inke khoon me hai, I can be atleast content with today's scene.
Bold-4,5&6: Exactly what I have been thinking since the time Meenu started giving over-importance to Mishti. That woman ruined Kuhu's life just so that she could keep Mishti away from Abir and the only time she apologized to her was when she was trying to manipulate her on the balcony so she could bhadkao both sisters and ruin their lives further.
While writing the above lines, I realised that Meenu must be a psychopath because she hasn't felt guilty even once throughout the show. Every move, every emotion has been part of a plan. That's insane!!š²
That FB voiceover was so heartbreaking. And the way you said that Mishti gets both her share as well as Kuhu'sš„ŗ. Just because one person is sad doesn't mean that they get overcompensated all the time and the other person doesn't even get their share of things.
Bold-7: I feel it's a mixture of both because I found them to be a bit awkward during the NishMish mehendi hug as well as the Kamarband scene. Kamarband waale scene me to Ritvik ki hawaaiyaan hi udi hui thiš¤Ŗ.

Just because Kuhu doesn't cry a river about her problems, it doesn't mean that she is a feelingless robot.
100%!! Just because she doesn't keep cribbing and crying doesn't mean she hasn't suffered. Maheshwari's are one lousy and sad bunch. If I was in Kuhu's place, I would want to leave that house as soon as possible too.

1st bold: I really liked that Kuhu said that too! She didn't use it as an opportunity to put Mishti down, and instead just attributed it to her having other interests in life.
2nd and 3rd bold: FOR REAL THOUGH. The whole time Meenu was like "I have to favor Mishti because I was so horrible to her! I hope you understand, Kuhu", I was thinking, uh, sorry, but you owe just as much to Kuhu as you do to Mishti. This girl has gone to hell and back because of your stupid grudges and superiority complex. But then again, that just highlights the brilliance of how well Meenakshi has analyzed Kuhu's personality. She knows just how to press Kuhu's buttons in all the wrong ways, and it's honestly a little creepy how well she's figured her out.
4th bold: Reading that made me feel a little better about the awkwardness that was today's episode LMAO. I never really thought of it that way, but I now that I do, I can definitely see how they can't just go from no romance to full blown romance. That would be pretty illogical, and poor character buildup. Kunal has said that he still has to learn a lot from Kuhu, so hopefully these are just the beginning baby steps. I think I definitely need to be giving the actors more credit than what I have been giving them; it is completely possible that this awkwardness onscreen was 100% deliberate.
Adding on, did anyone notice Kuhu's line: "Thank god tum worried ho ki main gussa ho sakti thi". It's like a fresh and pleasant surprise for her that for the first time, Kunal is actually concerned about their equation, and that he truly cares about how she feels. Hayeee my cutieesss
@bold: šÆ. I have nothing more to add. You said it perfectly.
@green: Exactly!!! It's so creepy!

That necklace was high-key ugly. If Kuhu didn't have all of these insecurities, I'm pretty sure her inner fashionista wouldn't have even tried to fight Mishti for that necklace.

Didn't he say that he still has that RED sports car? Can he please pick up on the fact that Kuhu wants to go for a long drive in it and even took the initiative to surprise him with the idea herself? Tution hi kya, she is doing a full demo Kunal -- jaldi seekho!
@blue: I loved how he just impulsively walked over to hug her as soon as he saw her (no small thanks to Jugnu for that Houdini act; top notch wingman he is!
). He was also so proud when Meenu asked her to take care of that haar. And speaking of haar, it was so sweet that Kuhu remembered Kunal saying he'll buy her a thousand haars when she was trying to calm herself down.
@Bold: Yes!! Yes!! Yes!!š

I liked the episode for many reasons..
- Abir and Kunal's bond - love them!
- Kunal unable to understand whether he is angry
- Abir's advice to him.. kisi ki bhi galti ho tum sorry bol de na
![]()
- Kuhu (Kaveri's) emotional audio flashback and the video flashbacks where she was insecure over a haar. I think the makers here are playing really well. I like how they are trying to make Kuhu not look like a bad person and whatever she is going to do will be due to the situation or Meenu's games. As Sam said I loved how she remembered Kunal saying he'll get her hazaar haar and also Mishti saying she doesn't want to fight her. Thank God Jas didn't come in her flashback
- KuKu scene - I liked it coz it was too cute. These 2 are getting to warm up to each other and becoming more natural. No lovey dovey scenes, eye to eye zoom ins, magical wind blowing, etc. Plain, simple and realistic. The hug was unexpected but could have been better but hey, I'm not complaining
- Maami's taang khichayi of Kunal calling him a jhoru ka ghulam
I loved how Kunal brings in Kuhu in everything even when she's not around. And he was all shy when everyone called him JKG - cute Ritvik there
naya navela dulha
- Family's praises on Kuhu - I think we should acknowledge the fact that Kuhu is so loved in the Rajvansh family that they never fail to praise her, be it Maami (biggest fan of Kuhu), Ketu, Maasi and Naanu. Hope they retain this habit
- The rasoi competition was really cool. Sorry but I'm not a fan of BM so no comments there
So Kuhu accidentally drops the haar while trying and it breaks, according to the precap. If Mishti is blaming her for that I think she is right coz she doesn't know what actually happened. As I said before in a state that Kuhu is right now if she is blamed for something she hasn't done then she's definitely gonna do something. Hopefully not as petty as the rumour mills say that she's gonna ruin Mishti Abir's SR
She has a life too - wth the cutest guy ever
Bold-1&2: Word!!
Bold-3: That was so cute!! Ladka ab family ke saamne khul ke biwi ki taareef kar raha haiš
Bold-4: Same!! Even BPš

This is a safe space for KuKu fans and I am glad there is no judgement or negativity here. And also I love the fact that most of us here understand Kuhu's vulnerabilities and know the reason for her actions. (Although a few days ago someone kept quoting my posts and tried to convince me that Kuhu is wrong and Mishti is the victim of Kuhu's actions. She finally stopped when I told her that she is in the wrong thread if she is expecting Kuhu bashing
)
Wow Nikki!! So subtle you are!šš

Yup. I also only started posting when there was an AT only for KuKu and I was sure that I will not be attacked for liking a certain character here.
I think one of the reasons ITV has not changed in more than 20 years is because viewers reject the characters who are not black or white. There is no properly written grey character in ITV these days. Unless the closed-off mentality of the viewer's changes, we will keep of getting the Mary Sue FL and judgment will be thrown towards viewers like us who enjoy characters who exhibit normal human emotions.
@bold: My assumption is that they decided to keep Kuhu grey after seeing the outpouring of requests from KuKu fandom otherwise to doob jaana tha is character ne.

@Nikki: Abir also didn't do Kunal, Mishti, or himself any favours by not taking the time to explain the situation to Kunal. It may not have been because he was dying to marry *her* but Mishti's rejection really tore Kunal up because he was so scared of facing that humiliation again after Shweta and then he had to face it publicly. To have the one person he cared about most support Mishti right off the bat, and then to have Abir choose her over him again and again only helped Meenu drive the wedge further and further. If it hadn't been for Kuhu opening Kunal's eyes at the right times, these two brothers would have lost their relationship for good.
So true!! He should have atleast taken the time to talk to Kunal rather than just romancing Mishti behind his back. Just because Kunal told him that he wanted to marry Kuhu doesn't mean that he is okay with his brother dating his ex. These bros don't know how to handle the relations closest to them. I also get the impression that Ritvik is super careful with his public image. It's no secret how quickly fans link co-stars in this business, and the way he's perfectly cordial but maintains a distance with all eligible female co-stars makes me thing he is hyper aware of and particular about avoiding this possibility. He also always makes it a point to say stuff like, Kunal is giving Kuhu this rose, Kunal wants to tell Kuhu abc, when they do those segments (it's actually really cute how much he ships them). š Kaveri seems a little more bindas about it herself, but I guess respects his boundaries when they do interviews together.

I thought so too. Maybe something controversial happened during his previous show because I had seen an old interview where he was very open about everything.
