Will they finally show - Page 2

This episode only reinforced my thinking. During Varsha and Jasmeet's conversation, the number of times they said 'larki' was way too much to not notice. I might be reading too much into it but even the prospect of having a gay character on mainstream/GEC TV is pretty exciting.

It was Star Plus that had a gay character years back in the show Maryada. I don't know if any other show or channel has had the guts to show the reality of our society or still scared of what the majority might not like.

Him saying “Girlfriend kyu, boyfriend kyu nahi?”

Mishti saying “Agar unhe pata chal jaata toh?”

And then him saying “Humari family iss sach ke loye abhi ready nahi hai? Yeh humara secret hai.”

Tha Gay subtext was highlightedddd. Like they were probably trying to mislead us about NishMish but I could clearly see the conversation being about Nannu's "secret" and I am all in for it.

I thought there was one more hint today. Nannu tells Mishti that he does not believe in true love like her. So the possibility of him having a firang girlfriend are quite slim, the possibilities of him being gay more. I would really admire RS if he actually managed to convince the channel to take the risk .

amazing idea dear.. actually there is 50-50 chances of this being true... going by the dialogues and also the mystery around nannu... even in parents show nannu was shown as drug addict so n by vatsals previous roles he will be ready to take up such challenging roles..

in ITV kaisi yeh yaariyaan and maryada took this concept and also executed it well so maybe even RS can take this up..

I’m getting a gay vibe from the character ...I would LOVE to see him as gay ...it would be so refreshing to see on ITV

Although this was shown before in another tv show but I found it to be badly done ..I think the show was Maryadha or something ...I hated the show as it was stupid and misogynistic but had to applaud them for having a fully gay character on the show
