So I know Nannu joked about it today but do you think it’s possible and is gay and he will portray a modern gay male in the show? Jasmeet is so concerned about getting a bahu that it might be a good learning opportunity, teachable moment, a great society inclusion message if the show went that route, because I highly doubt nish mish relationship is anything but platonic they are trying to leading audience into thinking this way but I think it’s the twist in that he loves men.

I’d love that so much, get with the times indian society

Frankly speaking I don’t think they will show something like this now. They might focus more on MishBir by showing NishMish scene so that Abir will be more jealous and finally he will break his silence... later they might reveal some secret of Nannu that they are hinting or love triangle between.. NishMishBir 😆 let’s see

I am liking this new track after leap

There is definitely no love angle between Nish-Mish! That’s just to fool the audience and Abir!

I had this thought from even before Nannu entered the show about him being gay when Vatsal mentioned that Nannu is hiding a secret... but it’s ITV, so don’t know if they will show such a concept on prime time... Let’s see if Rishta wahi, Soch nayi lives up to its name!

Not only me but the entire fandom would be so impressed if we get this track in the show. I do think they are gauging the audience reaction and will decide accordingly.

The show can afford to take that risk because it will not be the main character but at the same time give such a good message to society.

I think our society wants gay men to just get married and so many ladies lives are ruined ( I personally know of a girl who was rejected on her first night by the groom after marriage saying he married just to appease his parents and that he was gay) . She later divorced him and went through so much heartbreak for just no fault of hers. This track will set a message that families need to accept the choices of their children with an open heart and mind .

It would be nice and would also give a message to the society. Personally I support those guys and feel that society should accept them. They can develop this into a nice track

How I wish this comes true bcoz that is exactly what I thought. It'd be amazing if a positive character comes out as gay and that Mishti is shielding him for the time being.

Some family members could react negatively and gradually understand and accept giving voice to the homo-phobics around us, while some could straightaway stand by him. It gives a very powerful message to the viewers.

Edit: But going by hindi tv show standards, it's just probably a white woman and she'll be shown as arrogant just bcoz she chooses not to change her dressing and country after marriage.

Its sick as people think being gay is a disease or any kind of mental illness about oneself.

And if they get married, then they will turn into a full typical man.

Pathetic

I don't think they will go this way,but its not like it can't happen. There is still 70/50% chance for that to happen.

That will be shocking but superbly awakening glorius concept.

Hope RS boostes his show😊

Wonderful idea ...something refreshing on ITV ... can star plus actually go for nayi soch ... I seriously doubt, but vatsal is a fine actor and he has taken challenging roles in past too so who knows 👍🏼 his character can be similar to the one played by fawad in Kapoor n sons 😃😎

Thank you so so so much. As soon as I watched that final scene, I was jumping with the thought that we FINALLY get a LGBT+ character who is not terribly stereotyped. I picked on it as soon as their conversation flowed.

Him saying “Girlfriend kyu, boyfriend kyu nahi?”

Mishti saying “Agar unhe pata chal jaata toh?”

And then him saying “Humari family iss sach ke loye abhi ready nahi hai? Yeh humara secret hai.”

Tha Gay subtext was highlightedddd. Like they were probably trying to mislead us about NishMish but I could clearly see the conversation being about Nannu's "secret" and I am all in for it.
