Honestly Kuhu is far from manipulating Abir. Manipulation is how Meenakshi and Kunal led on Kuhu to believe that they want this marriage to happen. Or like Mehul is leading on Abir to believe certain things for his ulterior motives. I have never even seen Kuhu strongly advocating in favour of MIshBir's relationship. She refrained from commenting on it as she knows the truth that she wanted that rishta to not happen.

If we look at the precap none of the concerned parties involved seemed like they agreed upon the rishta happening at this moment (except for Mehul who is simply trying to fulfill his own agenda)

I don't think Kuhu was not aware that whatever she set out to do was not full proof and ultimately BP & BM would not have gone on to reject someone like Abir for Mishti. I haven't seen her being persistently at it either. There could have been n number of ways to emotionally blackmail BP & BM and get that rishta rejected at any cost. But Varsha and Kuhu didn't choose to take that route.

Reading about the upcoming scenes on the show, I couldn't help but think that the narrative constantly wants to pose Abir and Mishti as victims while never really taking into account how some of their decisions are impacting others lives.

Mishti's actual concern in today's episode should have been that how bringing Mehul to Rajvansh house has turned things upside down for that fam.

Abir should have been thinking of whether or not Mehul can be kept away from house considering his presence in the house is causing so much of tension. It's fair enough he wants to stay with his Dad having met him after long but if only he chose to meet him up outside the house probably that would have made life a lil easier for Meenakshi or Kunal or Kaushal.

Abir and Mishti have also made zero efforts to find out if there was any truth to the allegations that were made against Mehul.

If the articles and spoilers are anything to by Mishti will slap Kunal and again the narrative will become all about how Mishti was right in doing so and how wrong Kunal was to deserve something like this. In all this drama lil sensitivity would be attributed to the fact that despite of his constant efforts to be there for his brother Kunal was constantly ignored by Abir.

I only see Abir wanting to have a discussion with Kunal either to convince him of not disagreeing for the relationship with Mishti or to try n get him to be on cordial terms with Mehul. Both of the things which are unacceptable to Kunal and Abir never spares time to understand the depth of why Kunal is against these two relationships. Sometimes all that a person needs is time and proper communication for him or her to get a understanding of certain things.

Very convenient on Mishti's part to feel self- righteous by slapping Kunal but what she doesn't realize is that in her naivety to bring back Abir's Baba for him, she ended up bringing back Kunal's father too and she had no cognizance of whether or not Kunal was ready to accept this another blow in his life.

Now Kunal not only has to tolerate Mehul in the house but also has to see his mother constantly distressed because of it. He is also seeing his brother going farther and farther away from him because of everything going on in his life. But lest if we see the narrative trying to explore the depth of Kunal's conflicts and vulnerabilities.

I honestly thought it showed such double standards when Abir was made to say that his family members think he is so strong that nothing can really hurt him. Errm how exactly does this even apply to Abir, when he keeps leaving the house whenever he feels hurt and either Kunal or Meenu keep trying to stop him from leaving. His family certainly wouldn't perceive him as someone who cannot get hurt because they have seen how he does get hurt and tends to leave the house because of it. Infact, it is only for Abir that they are all tolerating Mehul in the house.

I find it extremely hypocritical then that the narrative tries to pose Abir and Mishti as victims time and again while never really taking into account the insensitivity they unleash at other characters by taking misinformed decisions.

Yeah i know. So what if Kuhu sends an e-mail from Mishti's ID and frames her. So what if she pushes Mishti down and it results in Mishti getting injured. So what if she plotted with Jasmeet to expose Abir-Mishti before her family. So what if Kunal plotted with his mom to blackmail Mishti and separate her from Abir behind his back? So what if Kunal is going to throw another tantrum and threaten Abir that he will divorce Kuhu if he marries Mishti. Unconvincing and unpalatable victimhood indeed.

👏👏 Well said EtTuBrutus! I don't see kuhu or Kunal being happy in their relationship with or without mishbir wedding. Like Abir rightly said, the future of a relationship lies in the hands of the people who are in it and is not driven by the actions of the people around them and both kuhu and Kunal seem to just use mishbir as a reason for their failed relationship than trying to mend it. Someday kunal might even start blaming mishti for global warming!

With all respect to your opinion - I share a different POV.....

almost all the 4 characters Kunal Kuhu Abir and Mishti has been subjected to lots of lousy writing n number of loopholes but to me personally Kuhu and Kunal character graph has been the craziest...

All i would want to highlight is as much as it is unconvincing & unpalatable on the victims ...so are the relationships which has been showered on resp. Abir & Mishti...

You look at the Bhai Bhai funda of both Kuhu and Kunal - it is simply cringe worthy ...

Kunal : the more u call him a bhai the more u make yourself fake as u give a damn of what his happiness is all about

When Bhai-hood is all about love respect n sacrifice u simply cannot apply a forgive n forget funda on his love Mishti and u are stuck with your hatred towards her for reasons only u know ....SELFISHNESS at peak

and do not even get started on Kuhu : the more she calls Abir as Bhai the more she is backstabbing him and making a mockery out of it...

You see all that she does behind Abir : she overhears his private convo she purposefully gets him caught outside BM house, she plans and pushes his love to break her leg ,she simply cannot tolerate Mishti just giving a glance to Abir...JEALOUSY at heights

As these go hand in hand it is indeed better for the makers to just start at least one redemption track before they go overboard and shower us with more n more plots stabs and betrayals...It is just a OVERDOSE on all these 4 characters.

love n respect !

How does it feel when your own family disowns you and you try to make your foster family your anchor ?....Where certain members of that foster family leave no stone unturned to tell you that you are unwanted. It would have taken some nerve of steel for a 10 year old to tolerate a cruel joke life has played on her.Notwithstanding all the unsecurities in her life ,Mishti desperately tries to correct whatever in her means, around her to somewhere gain acceptance maybe at a subconscious level. So no matter how much we keep saying that she should not get involved in kuku's matter, but I guess she wants to see peace around as she has been told time and again that she's responsible for a lot of mishappenings around her. And by using her own judgements just wants things to get better. .Is it not a right way to think that she sees people before herself. At least her intentions are noble ,quite unlike others who are manipulating things to suit their convenience. I'm m sorry but I don't see Mishti playing the victim card ever.

Now if you put yourself in Abir's shoes ,just imagine a scenario where you are clueless about your fathers existence, your mother is a dominating control freak, your grandfather is in some other trip in life where he neither refuses to age gracefully nor gets some intelligence in his demeanour and his uncle who has no guts. How does a boy grow up without a father figure to guide him.?...Putting all these aside Abir still managed to hold his ground and tried his level best to see that things around him are sorted to the best of his capabilities. he's someone who never let these shortcomings get in way of his overall persona,so I don't see where in life he played a victim card either.Yes he definitely very vehemently asserts his view points but so do the rest of them.Abir leaving the house is his defence mechanism to avoid unpleasant situations.with all that we have seen of the Rv household any sane person would want avoidance rule if he needs to maintain his identity.look at the fate of others who chose to stay back.

Also it's not Mishti's fault that she brought Abir's dad home. How on earth is she supposed to know what crime that guy has done when Abir himself is not aware of his dads past. And why should Abir not want his dad to stay with him in his house.Meenu has never maintained clarity regarding Mehul to Abir so isn't Abir entitled to his own views about his father, a man who in his thought process is only right and virtuous.Abir is definitely not at fault here regarding his dad. Now it's up to him to decide whether he wishes to continue any relationship with him going further or not. Even in custody cases the court lets the child decide if the child is above a certain age and Abir is almost 30 years.

My only problem with both Mishti and Abir right now is that they are handling kunal and kuhu with kid gloves.Thats something they need to stop doing now as that's what is affecting everyone around them. With so much importance being given to kuku, the entire matrix of the household has gone into a tizzy. If that root problem is sorted everything will fall in line.Kunal will stop ranting Mishti Mishti, kuhu will look at doing something constructive,Meenu will look at growing her already threatened business,Nanu will stop behaving like a jerk, koslu will behave like the real heir to the rajvash empire and nidhi and Parul will start Diwali housecleaning.in short perfect just perfect

giving sake of their daughter kuhu to ask mishti to stay away from kuhu wedding, asking mishti to apologize for the party invite that meenu deliberately gave wrong date, kuhu asking varsha to convince BP and BM to say no for mishti rishta as she is just starting her life at rajvansh and she doesnt want mishti in the same house especially since she hates her, varsha dropping at BP and BM feet and crying all day so that BP refuses mishti rishta, varsha and gang running away displaying their displeasure for mishbir rishta instead of congratulating them.

While all this time mishti tried hard to convince BP and BM to agree for kuku rishta. Feel sorry for varsha and kuku, so much manipulation but still mishbir are together

I don't think Mishbir united Kuku .It is their guilt conscious.Abir pushed Misti towards Kunal knowing they are not compatible & Misti's guilt he rejected Abir's brother. After misti-kunal breakup more than kuhu,Abir was interested in the alliance so that RH & MH maintain good relations & his love story sails smoothly.

Of course Kuhu & Kunal are selfish but that doesn't make Misti & Abir saint.

I can agree on victim thing

And even on kuhu character

Don't know why everyone make big deal of kuhu

She is just a normal girl not mahan mishti an tyaagabir who does unnecessary raita faillaoying

Abir is elder to kunal he was in love very early then why he done kuku marriage and not thought of his first

Kunal I have no justification

But kuhu she is real I don't justify but she is real and very upfront what she want

She never asked mishti to become mahan it was mishti and abir hobby

Anyway its typical ITV lead who will do mahan activity and play victim card and fans only when they do chillam chilli they will praise our show is different

I hate mishti from the day she gave bog bhasan and done nothing always make promises to break it

Till now I find menu and kuhu relatable I am so kunal is just mcp
