I love how Abir is shown to be just observant in these last two episodes. His wheels are spinning but he can't make concrete decision about what is happening in front of him. He KNOWS that Mishti isn't like this, but Kunal's words about love not being enough or not knowing someone enough is getting to him too. I know he will make the right decision but I'm glad it wasn't 100% I believe Mishti and screw everyone else because that's not realistic. People do make mistakes, and people do pretend to be someone else, and people do betray you. The audience knows Mishti is not one to do that but Abir doesn't, because after all, how long has he really known Mishti? The contemplation, the questioning, Abir trying to UNDERSTAND what's going on is being really well executed here. A lot of the times, we see very black and white reactions in these kind of situation, either you completely support someone or completely oppose them. It's a human feeling to question things, and use critical thinking skills to observe a scenario. The people who are doing this are 3 people Mishti feels the most connected to, Badima, Bade papa, and Abir. And that is all I need. Everyone else's attention is on Kuhu, as always. The irony of all of this is that everything Mishti said will not be taken seriously because of how it hurt Kuhu. Yeah it did hurt her, BUT WHERE DID MISHTI LIE THO??? Additionally, when the truth is revealed, Mishti's comments will be taken as something she didn't mean to protect the family. Those things NEEDED to be said and I'm sad it's not going to be impactful in any meaningful way.

Coming back to Abir, this guy has never disappointed me, not even for a little bit. He calls people (often his family) out on their bullshit, still protects his family, loves Mishti, respects their friendship and boundaries, is so positive. It's a breath of fresh air from those that make rash and impulsive decisions. Often times we see the female leads being painted as all great and holy but this time i see these qualities in the male lead. What I'm trying to say is I'm glad Mishti is allowed to make mistakes. She will definitely have to face the consequences (because only male leads never face consequences) but nevertheless, she's not making the perfect decisions all the time. I wouldn't have taken this route to show that Mishti can do a lot for Kuhu but given what we have seen from the creatives, even thy are allowed to make mistakes lmao. But what's more exciting is how these two will find their way back to each other!

I agree with you Abir is the most level headed ML on ITV in recent times. Mostly ML act on the spur of the moment and lash out but not our homeboy. He chose to remain calm and silent and observed everyone's reactions. The best past was that he even reassured Mah's that he will try to sort things out. Mishti needed to say these things to Kuhu,Varsha and Jasmeet at some point because they have been hypocritical towards her. I am actually glad that the sisters truth came out in front of everyone it was much needed. When a relationship needs to be fixed we need to first acknowledge where it has gone wrong. I think after this track both Misthi and Kuhu will work on their relationship whereas the brother's relationship will take a hit. Even Misthi will learn a lot from her mistake I hope this helps her somewhat to overcome her insecurity that people don't consider her a burden and they actually do love her. Even I am excited about the Mishbir story. Let's see where it goes.

Loved your post, and you're so right, abir never disappointed us, it's so soothing to see these type of characters

I love him for his heart and mind

Mishti's character is also justified, and you're so right, every word mishti said was so true, family after knowing the truth will sideline it, but I really want this as a dedicated track in future, where Varsha kuhu jasmeet should realize their mistakes

I hope you’re right about the bond between Kuhu and Mishti growing or else it’ll be kind of too little too late. We’re past a 100 episodes and we’ve barely seen consistent progress. They patch up for a second and Kuhu yells at Mishti for something that’s not even her fault and the fight begins again. Mishti even tried being friends with Kuhu but Kuhu didn’t reciprocate. I really do want to see them be sisters but in a gradual way.. not in a “I sacrificed something for you so let’s forget all the rude things you’ve said to me” kind of way.

Poor Mishti she’s always going to feel like an outsider... let’s see how BP and BM react to this, that’ll be the main indicator if Mishti will truly feel like she belongs. That talk without BM should let her know that Mishti is not doing this to purposely hurt anyone!

I know! Abir’s approach in interacting with Mishti is so playful but also emotional and heartwarming at the same time.

Yeah the words came out at the wrong time but they were true words but yeah like you said, it’ll definitely be sidelined :(

Kuhu needs major redemption after this track I still have hope for her in like Kunal and Ben Baa. Yeah even I hope the patch up is worth it and is due to other reasons too but it would be amazing if the sisters actually team up. Both Mish and Abir have issues which I am hoping they will try to heal each other.

Both kuhu and kunal are not rational in their thinking probably they dont have brains to do the analysis themselves. They just know one thing to blame Mishti for every wrongs in their lives. Even though its done by themselves. They sound like my 4 yr old who blames everything on her sister. 🙄

Correctly said.. and everyone meanu, Kunal and parum maasi are giving their thoughts regarding what mishti has done.. he is listening to everything. Being silent and observing helps a lot in the time of crisis. Emotional reactions destroys the logic. Always male leads ends up dumb due to the emotional reactions to FL doing something wrong but here our homeboy is trying to balance these emotions and logic.our Abir is special due to this.

It was good to see Abir think and analyze the situation instead of impulsively jumping to the wrong conclusion. This is really a positive point.

Coming to what Mishti did, she was right in what she said. It's just the circumstance and the way she was manipulated into saying this by Meenu that makes her wrong. Other than that, this was something Mishti should have vented out to her family long time back. And while Mishti considered her mistake to be unforgivable and she packed her bags and decided to leave, it was nice to see how badi ma was totally against it. That despite the consequences that Mishti's words caused, badi ma wasn't going to let her leave the house was encouraging.
