We all remember Kuhu’s taunt but not her way of making up to Mishti . She did feel bad for lashing out at Mishti and in many occasions did try to calm down the nervous Mishti during courtship.

Kuhu tried to move on from a guy who was not interested and I think that was the best decision . I wish she did the Sam ego day but unlike us she doesn’t know the game Meenu and Kunal are playing with her .I feel similar incident might have happened in the past where Mishti’s feelings was given more prominence over Kuhu and that might have created insecurity in Kuhu .Unknowingly Maheswari were insensitive towards Kuhu . It was not like Kunal Mishti were in love that they could not reject the alliance for the way one of their daughter was treated .

I am not expecting Mishti to take crap but I don’t like her it’s because of me you got everything attitude either . This does t make Mishti any less than Kuhu .

ya kuhu not was having choice to fight but she could have shared her feeling and i am with u on this that time kuhu actually acted maturely but for that courtship time i can only blame kuhu and abir as they hid their feeling and tried to sacrifice and abir toh even juggled with whole courtship by sending flowers poetry ,etc so abir was more wrong

i am okay till mishti not sacrifices or act mahan wether it be right or wrong doent matter much to me

maheshwari has habbit of ignoring one and completly focussing on other that one feel left out

like today mishti felt left out

so when kuhu is ignored she think mishti is responsible as focus is on her like we have seen many times be it rishta or anything

but when mishti is ignored like today she was feeling left out it looked like she is forcing herself in those scene but mishti think that she has no right whatever they r giving is more than anything

anyway for bracelet thing mishti never thought of this thing only varsha put in her mind and she just gave it back to shut her up for her hypocrisy

actually anyone should be like mishti when you live in family who has adopted you blood related do these type of misshappenings or you get this type of outsider treatmen from everyone be it outsider or insider except those who had adopted you

ya i even feel mishti was wrong on cutchutsav day or pub night day

and rest i am okay

like mishti was not okay with but bm badima crap and kuhu herself trying to cover it up forced her i am okay with her not asking kuhu as she herself thousand time said she is okay

as i mentioned comparing kuhu bracelet with abir friendship kuhu actually tried to hide the fact mean there was theft in her mind but mishti was upfront i dont know why everyone is saying mishti was having feeling for abir that time even

ya in courtship abir and kuhu both were wrong in hiding their feeling and due to both of their mistake today there is too much raita

anyway i dont know why people are blaming mishti like i feel people has got habbit of mahaan sacrificing and most undertanding female

wather=ver mishti does mainly is reaction and kuhu is action

action reaction r two different thing action has choice how act but when u react on something you have no choice

i am just happy with till now mishti character even abir somewhat i get dissapointed with his nanko jaap and baby cuddling him

I think makers have given multiple hints in the past regarding Kuhu’s insecurity and the biggest one during Rishta exchange . I would hold mostly BM responsible for this . Even in today’s Kuhu was sure BM would not come without Mishti .

Mishti decided to help Kuhu without being asked and later when she felt guilty about hiding it from BM and BP she wanted to reveal everything to Maheswari . Kuhu never asked for help and it should be Kuhu’s decision to come clean about her relationship status . Somewhere Mishti feels she is better Lin everything compared to Kuhu so she wants to decide what’s best for Kuhu like locking her in her room .

Tomorrow when Meenu and Kunal’s truth will be out it will not be Kuhu who misjudged them but Abir and Mishti will be equally responsible for not realizing the true intent of Meenakshi and Kunal .

Good to see you too, and I felt the same way. I haven't been on the forum because it seemed kind of pointless, tbh 😛

For me, the makers have made it pretty clear where the rift between Kuhu and Misthi originates. Kuhu is basically handled and treated like the family brat and everyone sees her as this ditzy. frivolous girl which is why her feelings get ignored so easily -- they don't believe anything affects her that much. But in fact her humour and bindas attitude are a strength and a defense mechanism which the family takes for granted. Whenever Mishti grabs the attention -- be it because of Naman's blackmail or Meenakshi's rishta swap -- Kuhu is expected to accept it without a peep all while listening to Mishti's gungaan. In addition, like you said, Misthi acts like a parent to Kuhu rather than a sibling. Somehow I can see how that would get irritating.😆

Kunal is the first person who noticed Kuhu for her, on her terms, and praises her for making people laugh, for being sorted and for being a good friend (and he said all this of his own will, long before any games began). Is it any wonder that she is lattoo for this boy? He sees her in a way that even her family doesn't seem to, and for once is someone who thinks she is better than Mishti. Kuhu is a soft target for manipulation because she feels so misunderstood and neglected by those who are supposed to love her the most -- like you said, the rishta swap and BM are the major culprits in the situation reaching this point. BM thinks she can will this great sisterly love into being just by saying again and again how much Mishti and Kuhu love each other. Instead, it just creates pressure for both of them to pretend to care more than they do and hides the potential for a real bond.

@bold: seeing how the show is progressing, I am very sure that Kuhu will be called nadan and nasamaj and Abir and Misthi will only be praised for how hard they tried to unite the lovers. 🤔

I see what you mean 😀. Unfortunately these days SNS discussions decide the course of the story .

I Agree . The makers have given enough hints about the rift between two sisters but they haven’t held Mishti /BM responsible for the mess along with Kuhu . This reminds me of KRPKAB days where everything Dev was blamed including for Vicky and Mami’s betrayal

Oh yeah definitely it would Kuhu’s fault for not realizing the true intention of Kunal but until now Kunal haven’t given any reason for Kuhu to suspect . We audience know everything but for Kuhu it seems like Kunal does like her which might be true but he is too blinded by revenge to see this .

Disclaimer: I haven’t yet seen this week’s episodes.

Sam and Neetu… I have to agree with you guys…

Both Kuhu and Kunal are written in a way that makes them easy to be misunderstood. Kunal isn’t doing this for ego. He genuinely believed that Mishti and him did not need a courtship. He trusted the elders and did not see why his mom and Mishti’s parents would not see any issues that they will uncover during the courtship. Which is why, when the relationship broke, he assumed Mishti wont work out in his family, be it for him or for bhai!

As for Kuhu, I don’t have much to add to what you both said. She would never want Mishti in her sasural, especially when she knows she has a difficult mother in law as it is. She does not know that Abir was attracted and liked Mishti way before any rishte were proposed. She assumes this is a new “chakkar”.I don’t completely blame her for wanting to first protect her own relationship and also figuring out what exactly is going on between these two.

Somewhere Kunal’s past has played a major role here . He is definitely hurt because of Mishti’s rejection because it makes him feel useless .I agree its not just the male ego here .

I definitely agree that Mishti was unfair to Kuhu during those stage performances. It didn't matter what Mishti was going through personally, she shouldn't let that affect the co-performer.

But when it comes to other things.. like questioning about bracelet or saying that the KuKu rishta happened because of her, etc... I don't think Mishti is completely unfair. She said these things because of the way Kuhu says mean things to her. Kuhu can get really mean and hurtful sometimes; and there is only so much anyone can tolerate without snapping back. And coming to Kuhu, she clearly has had some grievances with Mishti right from when they were young and those unresolved feelings and issues are making her blame Mishti for everything. Ideally, the family esp badi papa and badi ma should have noticed these things from when they were young; tried to understand and resolve these issues maturely between them and more specifically try and see from Kuhu's side. But since that didn't happen we are left with the Kuhu-Mishti dynamics that we see today, which isn't a healthy relationship but it is what it is... and both Kuhu and Mishti are reacting to things based on how they've always done.

This is a very interesting perspective. IMO, the family is primarily to blame because they have never tried to make things normal for Mishti and Kuhu. And Badi Maa is so hyper and emotional that Mishti and Kuhu are forced to act normal and happy in front of her. The rishta switch made it worse because noone in that family bothered to check on Kuhu or her feelings. This has solidified her belief that no one cares for her and Mishti is insensitive to her feelings. None of this justifies Kuhu's tantrums though but I really hope Kuhu stands by Mishti at the end of this track. I know she is blind in Kunal's love at this point but it will be wonderful to see her rise above it and do the right thing at the end of this track.

Yes. So long as its constructive criticism of the story/characters, it's always fun to read. I can't stand Kuhu right now but loved reading all the different perspectives on the character. I hope the CVs give her character a good arch and work on her relationship with Mishti. Am done with Meenu but would like to see what CVs do with Kuhu. Hope she is not reduced to bring a dumb puppet of Meenu and Kunal 😆
