I will try and explain.

1. Copy the link of the thread you want to hyperlink.
2. In the reply message section, click on the link icon that is in the left of the emoticon symbol.
3. A dialogue box appears with three options - Text, URL, Target.
4. For the 'Text' option, by default it appears as 'Text'. Mention the respective subject you want as the text for hyperlink.
5. For URL, paste the link address to the selective post you want to hyperlink and delete the 'http://'
6. For 'Target' select the desired drop down or keep the default one mentioned.

And that's that. Hope this helps.
