Off late since 2018 consumers have been sending emails to trai regarding trps.. Over and above Cable owners associations and dth end users never see eye to eye. To bring uniformity in trps, the government proposed pay for the channel you watch and if any household wants everything, spend more.

There is no uniformity here, forms are still in collection mode and every user goes on changing the list they want to see or no. for example my neighbour took star and slashed colors , next month she might take Sony only as she is fed with other Gecs

In this way the entire data is skewed. Star and Zee are the oldest amongst channels so many have opted for them. Colors have lowest package deals. Nothing is uniform.

Therefore 1.6 trp when the plot is weak is still good. Shaheer may be having lot of SP fans.

Ekta's shows do not deserve the limelight. It is highly likely that the trps are rigged.

The cricket matches are around the year so can't help. Most of SP serials were fallen this week and color is second just lagging by 2, slowly coming back in race and Naggin ending underperformed. SP and colors are always inversely proportional. Some serials with 1.8 with big star cast and budget went off air once they just out from top 10. It's all depends on budget and returns. To survive longer, needs loyal TRP fans.

Audience like to watch cliched outdated drama instead of progressive real life problems unfortunately. They find happiness in watching typical old age problems not new ones.

They can't move out of their habit. They like to rewatch same stuff. Typical ISFJ personality type mentality

I mean Ekta and SP wants to get rid of YHM and there is no story intentionally there yet ppl like to watch that leftover says a lot!

KK's online TRP is made sure to be 1 by adding it on ALTBalaji along with hotstar and other mediums.

Rupal, Rhea, the guy playing Kunal everyone have their fans esp. it is Rupal who have more TRP fans next Shaheer comes.

I think 1.6 is ok for a 10pm show. Had it been bad, it wud have been 1.3/1.4

Even i stopped watching from few days after exhaustion from long watching 50 overs match i mean from the start till almost there. Can't even change channel.
