I mean are they stretching this track bcos of his Indonesia visits.

Shaheer is Very Committed Actor that's why all his Producers Like him and like to work with him again and again. He will Complete his Work and Go. To Indonesia he is going for 4 days only for Promoting the Show and during KRPKAB times he went to Indo for 15 days in a month. For him Current Track will not be Changed and in initial interviews also he said that he will give more time to this Show

Last week the show elevated its standard to whole new level and shahher has set the bar quite high for himself and others now. I rarely feel so much for the character. I feel like i can connect with Abir on a deeper level.

I started watching it (ofcourse Shaheer being the main reason) for light hearted cute love story with no ott lavish expensive costumes and their distracting jewelleries and remarriage and etc. But never expected the show to have sucha an effect on the audience. Like Abir’s dialogue ‘ye ghar jaisa, simple seedha lekhin bahut khoobsurat’ this show is exactly like that. Its a simple show, but very beautifully written.

Abir is undoubtly the best male lead in tv and i hope cvs dont ruin his character in the future. The way he handles mishti, makes you think that guys like him do exist in real world. People want to see badboys manhandling their female partners on tv but wpuld you like that youself in real life. He never talks rudely or raises voice except to BigBen. He is a perfect example of how male lead should be.

Since its Indian TV, all characters are bound to get ruined at some point. But for now, Abhir is clearly the star of the show. Love the fact that he is a normal guy. He had a not so happy childhood, abandonment issues, has a love hate relationship with his mom and lot of angst as far as his dad is concerned. Yet he does not use that excuse to hate on everyone/be judgmental/manhandle or behave like the whole world owes it to him. Which is such a refreshing change from almost 90% of the male leads on Indian TV.

I read the interview. From what I understood, its lost in the English translation and he is just generally talking about the courtship track and how Abhir is selfless and is helping MIshti-Kunal in the process (all of which is already happening on the show).

My favourite out of the ones you mentioned is the 'Ghar jaisa...' moment. That was a beautiful way to describe what Abir feels for Mishti- it's not just fiery chemistry that makes your heart thud but it's also the comfort of feeling at peace when you are with someone. It combines the excitement of a cruise with the safety of an anchor.

Regarding KuKu, I have very little hope. 😒If this is how they're treated at the beginning of the story, then I don't think they will get much to work with. They have great chemistry and I also like their dynamic, but alas, they would rather focus more on Peenakshi and Badi Maa.

@shan2430- I think it's natural to find Mishti's character inconsistent. Nobody has an issue with her not realising Abir likes her because he has done nothing to give her that impression yet. When people call her bipolar, they are talking about how unaware she is of her own feelings. One minute she will jump into a fire to save Abir's painting only because she 'thinks' it is important to him and the next minute she is thanking Kunal for saving her. The words she herself uses to describe her friendship with Abir do not align with her actions.

Sure, MishBir and KuKu are endgame but that does not mean they have to inflict future BIL-SIL Kunal-Mishti on us. 🤪The journey matters more than the destination. At least for me, I cannot enjoy a couple together if they butcher their characters along the way or create weird misunderstandings between them.

Bang on. I think the makers have done a great job in writing Abhir's love for Mishti. Its so gentle, non-shallow, selfless and there is not a tinge of lust at this point. Which makes it amazing. I like how they haven't had too many eye-locks or trip fall catch scenes and most of their interactions involve actual conversations. Which is what made the 'ghar jaisa' dialogue so much more beautiful.

I loved Kuku in that office episode last week. Such a shame that the makers are not utilizing their potential 🤔

He only summed up the ongoing track in that interview. I think that poster is referring to fans losing hope about the track ending anytime soon after reading that IV 😆 The interview itself was quite generic and am quite sure lost in translation because the original was in Marathi 😆

Tbh i dont believe in half of the things they show on SBS SBB. They add their own story to everything. They said it was Kunal who started the fire. But turns out it was mere accident. So we just have to have faith in the show and the actors.

@EtTu –great post. Below, I think is the crux of MishBir. Abir runs away from home. Because it does not feel like home. Its not simple, its not khubsoorat the way he imagines it. Its complicated and a landmine.

Does she know Abir painted her?Does she know Abir has her photos? Did she know Abir had her earring till 2 episodes back? Did Abir say or give any indications to her at all ? Then how is she to guess Abir's feelings, esp when she is on a supposed marital courtship with his brother! At least she is being true to this courtship thing. And that's just why she made that inference abt Kunal after the fire. He was standing right there and she was dazed. She sees Abir as her own and she does not need to make any judgements abt him. For her to realize it as love will take a while. Right now she has been forced to think of Kunal.

...

Like did she take advantage of Abir or his emotions? As I see it, she sees Abir as a very dear friend whom she trusts immensely. He inspires her. And she in return is a very loving friend too. She tries to look out for him too. Don't we hv such friends in real life? It's unfair to blame her in any way at this stage atleast. She just needs time, but the way things are moving, she may not get it. Not her fault really.

...

As for Kunal, I like his character too. Let's not forget he ran into the fire too , which is not a easy thing to do. So he can't be denied any credit for saving Mishti.

...

Abir is of course a darling., the main reason for me watching the show. The most perfect male lead I hv seen till date. Mishbir pair is really nice.

...

The CVs have done a great job in trying to keep it as decent as possible.

But I see it this way- she knows Abir is her own subconsciously and expects him to be there for her, but for Kunal to go in and help is a big thing for her. May be for that and to push story forward with kunal-mishti, the dialog was added. I don't look at it as a big let down yet. Lets see if she remembers Abir in the coming episodes after fire. I hope she does. She should. I just feel Mishti needs time to process. She herself hasn't understood how she risked her life for just Abir's painting. Before she pauses to analyse, Kunal is again going to be thrust on her. This is my take on her:)))

...

I agree abt Kunal taking creditfor flowers etc...it gives a wrong impression. But it's consistent with his character. Thats the way he is with all. But thankfully they haven't shown Mishti getting overly impressed or carried away by this. Unless I hv missed some episodes. Though they need to push for Kunal-Mishti due to storyline right now, I still feel the makers hv kept it as decent as possible. No OTT closeness, dreams etc e.. so I am ok with whatever is shown till now. No complaints.

..

Thank you for making the posts @Shan. You summarised Mishti. She is a master compartmentaliser. With her complicated childhood and adolescence there was no other way she could do it. Her foster parents and their family members have a bizzare relationship with her. She looks at one relation through one lens and she is done. It’s a very linear way of thinking because if she starts branching out, it will get too complex. She just needs to know that she won’t be abandoned the way her dad did and Kunal ticks that box

In fact, I don’t know if the level-headed girl in Mishti will ever choose someone like Abir as her Life partner (she will definitely fall in love with someone like Abir, but would she like to depend on him?)because Abir leaves his family members behind and goes AWOL… her heart will get pulled towards him.. but her mind might not find it very practical

This is where her being “ghar jaisa” will be the perfect match for Abir. He needs a “home” to stay in and she needs a partner who comes home

@Bold

They both have to take that leap of faith and I'm so ready to watch it all pan out.

@bold- That is such a beautiful and poetic line. Not sure if the writers have thought of it this way but the way you put it, its beautiful
