I loved all the scenes you mentioned and the week overall. Frankly I enjoy this serial a lot. It has such a sweet, feel good factor to it. And after the horrendous 2 wife EK serial I had the misfortune of seeing , YRHPK feels divine to me. My tolerance for itv has gone notches up.
Why do some of them find Mishti bipolar? Does she know Abir painted her? Does she know Abir has her photos? Did she know Abir had her earring till 2 episodes back? Did Abir say or give any indications to her at all ? Then how is she to guess Abir's feelings, esp when she is on a supposed marital courtship with his brother! At least she is being true to this courtship thing. And that's just why she made that inference abt Kunal after the fire. He was standing right there and she was dazed. She sees Abir as her own and she does not need to make any judgements abt him. For her to realize it as love will take a while. Right now she has been forced to think of Kunal.
Again, i read some of the posts here but I don't get why ppl want Mishti to go thru heartache as well. Like did she take advantage of Abir or his emotions? As I see it, she sees Abir as a very dear friend whom she trusts immensely. He inspires her. And she in return is a very loving friend too. She tries to look out for him too. Don't we hv such friends in real life? It's unfair to blame her in any way at this stage atleast. She just needs time, but the way things are moving, she may not get it. Not her fault really.
As for Kunal, I like his character too. Let's not forget he ran into the fire too , which is not a easy thing to do. So he can't be denied any credit for saving Mishti.
Abir is of course a darling., the main reason for me watching the show. The most perfect male lead I hv seen till date. Mishbir pair is really nice.
Overall, the serial is sweet. Though ppl find Kunal-Mishti annoying, I feel the CVs have done a great job in trying to keep it as decent as possible. And C'mon, this is the basic premise of the show, so let the story unfold . U can't jump into Abir-Mishti..What's left in the story then? From what I hv seen of the CVs, I think they will keep it clean and not mess the pairings.so let's be a bit patient and see the character graphs.
Thats a great post. I will try and explain why I find Mishti bipolar though. Lets take Friday for instance. She actually risked her life to save a painting only because it is dear to Abhir. She only thought of calling badi maa and then Abhir when she was in trouble. She clearly noticed Abhir jumping in and even had a brief conversation with him before fainting. So I just find it very convenient on the writers part that they chose to make her remember Kunal the first thing after waking up. They din't even spare a second to make her glance at Abhir to make sure he is safe. I'd like to clarify that she is not bound to reciprocate Abhir's feelings and I don't hold that against her at this point. But I'd still maintain that the writers are showing zero introspection on her part and some of her reactions are extremely inconsistent just to accommodate this Kunal-Mishti track.
Regarding Kunal, honestly I was okay with him till last week. But him coaxing Abhir to do something sweet for Mishti and give him the credit was off. Even if we were to forget that, I don't think I can respect him as a character if he chooses to keep quite next week when he is given all the credit for Mishti. Kunal was a character who was very comfortable with taking credit for other's actions (refer to his monologue post the hospital scene when he is forced to take credit by Abhir). So I just find it weird that now he is okay with everything thats happening and taking credit for something as big as saving someone's life.
