I am confused about the whole courtship .The way Kunal and Mishti are reacting to Mishti working seems like they have accepted the proposal . I thought after courtship they will decide whether to marry each other or not but the way they are reacting it seems marriage is fixed and courtship is just to know each other better .

Why does Kunal expect Mishti to take his permission to work while she is not his fiancé yet and even Mishti is behaving like he is her to be husband.

Yeah, lol. I also found it funny how Meenakshi was telling Kunal that Mishti doesn't find it important to inform her HUSBAND about everything. I was really surprised that she used that word when Mishti and Kunal aren't even engaged, and even Kunal didn't correct her, meaning banda abhi se khud ko husband samaj raha ha aur Mishti par haq jata raha hai. Haha, I hope he wakes up soon, and understands that he has no right to control Mishti at all. Meenakshi also added later that it is up to Kunal to make the final decision about whether Mishti is right for him or not, but he only says that he didn't like what she did. There was no indication of Kunal considering rejecting Mishti from his side yet even though Meenakshi was provoking him. It just seemed like Kunal was behaving like an angry husband whose wife went against him.

Kunal also sounded like a total MCP in today's episode. I kind of understood where he was coming from before, but today's episode made me feel that his thoughts are very regressive. He was even taunting Mishti about her job by saying that she isn't as busy as him at her workplace, so she can find the time to call him , but he cannot find the time to answer her calls because he is much busier. I mean really!! That was really low!!!

I didn't think Mishti was behaving like a wife though. She was trying to offer an explanation because of Kunal's outburst, but she seemed shocked by the way he was overreacting. Honestly, it's his fault that he cuts her off during all of their conversations and never lifts her phone calls. Mishti gave it back to him well though when she points out that he never heard what she had to say. Mishti tries to keep her cool, but also ends up raising her voice back at him and yells "Haan" in a so what?! tone when Kunal says that she she didn't think it was necessary to ask Kunal for permission before beginning to work at the other job.

In fact, why should she. It's her life and her decision. Actually, it was just because of Rajshree that Mishti felt obligated to inform them in the first place. It was never about taking permission. In that sense, Mishti did her bit to inform the family in whatever way possible. Otherwise, Mishti really doesn't give a damn about what Kunal thinks, as even in the PRECAP, Mishti very clearly says that Kunal needs to understand that she can't trust him so quickly. This means that Mishti does not view Kunal as her husband or future husband at all at this point. However, Kunal on the other has already started referring to Mishti as his future wife, meaning that in his mind, their marriage is fixed. (BIGGEST FACEPALM). Aur Himmat tho dekho uski!! I was so annoyed when he looks at Mishti and says he wants to talk to her after the paint incident so rudely, indirectly telling his brother to leave. Kunal could have politely acknowledged Abir but he didn't. I felt so bad for Abir here! Uska Bhai abhi se Mishti par pura haq jata raha hai!😕

bold one

from that scene i felt if it is symbolising that in future if kunal will come to know about abir feeling and he being in illusion that mishti likes him will surely going to behave possessive

i find kunal sometime very rude with anyone be his mother brother or kuhu mishti parul servent anyone and everyone when he thinks the person in front of him is wrong from his pov

i always find kunal and kuhu typical male and female lead of other serial

kuhu working for kunal doing mistakes kunal asking her to do this till 8 o clock

i feel kuhu and kunal characterisation and story is somewhat similar to arnav and khushi of ipkknd leaving the physical violence part

I think they first need to understand themselves before understanding each other.

I haven't watched Monday's episode. However, Kunal does not feel the need for courtship. He is doing Mishti a favour because his mom let him off that hook and his brother encouraged him to. He assumes the shaadi is happening

Mishti simply told him what's happening in her life. Like one would when you are GTKT(hem)..

Nitu, the concept of dating is very new in India. And the way the talk of this "courtship" came into being in this series is the reason why Kunal and Mishti are behaving this way. :) :) :) This talk of courtship started after the proposal of alliance. Meenu said that Mishti is the right "wife" for Kunal and Rajshri said that Kunal will make a good "husband" to Mishti. The whole process did not start with them having an understanding that if they don't find themselves compatible, they will break up. Kunal doesn't really think this courtship is needed, while Rajshri is telling Mishti that you can meet him, but let us know when we should start preparing for marriage. All of them are going with the understanding that tomorrow Kunal and Mishti will marry each other. No one is thinking "what if" here.

That is where Abir and his feelings are so crucial. Abir and Mishti are not dating each other nor thinking of making a life together. Yet find themselves understanding each other better without the other having to tell it in words. Misthi doesn't have to see Abir to know when he is sad. She knows what he likes and asserts her "Haq" without asking him. Same with Abir. He also shields her when she needs the most without her saying anything. She never really told about her father, but he learnt everything.

It is this understanding that the series is showing. That a husband wife relationship is not just sharing a physical bond, but an emotional bond too. That a couple can be happy when they share that emotional partnership where they can lean on each other without and apprehension. Mishti can tell what she feels without wondering what Abir will think of her. Same way Abir doesn't feel bad when she comes to lighten up his mood. She is the person he looks for to share his innermost feelings.

Just watched the episode. I love how mishti is learning some important lessons in wifehood. First one being, communicate directly with your partner.

Ditto shaavi. The current track is showing how important no-strings-attached dating/friendship is important before making that commitment

And the painting 🤦‍♀️🙄
