Abir, Mishti and some other things I'm liking - Page 2

Other things I'm liking:

1) The Dheere Dheere bg theme for AM. I also liked the new lyrics they used for this song in today's hospital scene.

2) The title song. It has a nice tune and is nicely sung too :)

3) AM ka signature thing where he calls out to her as she's walking away and then says Kuch nahin, jaao 😆. It's reminiscent of Aashiqui 2 but it's still nicely done with AM :). Haha

Definitely 😆. The fact that I'm liking it means it's unlikely to connect with TRP audiences who want to be beaten over the head with melodrama and instant shaadi and romance. Lol

@bold: I like how you described their equation :) I'm actually pleasantly surprised by how they are showing AM ka bonding over that pain without being in your face about it. I wasn't so sure in the early epis when I thought it will be like a typical sob story of mommy or daddy issues and instant bonding...but they made it gradual...not everyone may connect cuz it seems a bit of a flimsy issue on the surface...that both their fathers abandoned them but what has worked for me is the way Abir has joined the dots together vis a vis Naman and feels a connect towards the way she is trying to push back against the pain her father is trying to cause her, the way she's trying to be strong and brave. The fact that he expresses this admiration through his whimsical shaayaris about her is also a nice touch without really being sappy.

Then there is angle of him feeling protective towards Mishti as a result...somehow it has evolved naturally without feeling put on. He now feels a connect towards her but his basic personality is restless...that banjara mode. So even while he's drawn towards her, he doesn't go around actively seeking her out...yet...circumstances bring them in front of each other. But whenever they do, he is charmed by her and manages to charm her in turn even as she bristles over his taunts😆

Now with this new angle of the rishta flip...the complications increase...lol the hospital scene today was really indicative of that conflict inside him. He now hesitates to hold her hand since she is being considered as a possible match for his brother but the moment she calls out in pain, he instantly envelopes her hand with his own and continues to assure her that he will be there. She's manages to extract a promise from him even in a delirious state😆...he will feel obligated to keep it now.

Then there's Naman who invariably is becoming the reason for AM drawing closer. The moment Abir sees Naman, he forgets his intent to back off and let the Kunal-Mishti rishta happen...and goes rushing back to hover over her protectively again😆

I guess they are building up this intrigue for now...which way will the chips fall. Kunal is like a pawn in all this too between his mother and brother. Haha let's see.😆

He He true..Mishti Extracting a promise from Abhir was a real nice touch and Shaheer was bang on there... a well shot and well done scean..and a nice part of the story..

It will be interesting to see how Kunal forces Abhir to accept that he saved Mishti...

WE all are waiting for Abhir and Mishti to bring KuKu together ..but I have a feeling that first Kunal will bring AM together 😆

The true fact is, these feelings are developing when he is fully aware about it...he connects with her...gets attracted to her simplicity and courage and thought. He knows she is fighting within just like him and smiling outside.

Let us see hpw the writers take us on their journey...hope they continue this positivity...else like always...Tata bye bye 😆

Oh just came here to know about some twitter controversy...and came across this post...Now with this post you are tempting me to watch the show 😆...looks like the show is going good based on your review/description...

Exactly. He is aware of the feelings developing and he was just going along with the flow until this unexpected turn of events with Mishti being suggested for Kunal.

Neither Abir nor Mishti are actively thinking of marriage right now and seem to want to each avoid it for their own reasons. That still doesn't stop Abir from enjoying her company whenever he comes across her. I guess that is what I liked. That their interactions didn't happen with the baggage of expectations. They just went with the flow. They were content to talk about KuKu ka Rishta or the chorni inside joke. Nothing too heavy despite the fact that they have connected subconsciously as is apparent from their expressions when looking at each other. The eyes speak there.

Now this Rishta issue has added complications. Abir likes her but he also doesn't want to get tied down since he is a restless soul. So maybe be thinks Mishti is a nice girl and there is no harm if she grows to like his brother instead since there is no future with Abir himself.

Let's see where they take this. Mishti doesn't remember it was Abir who held her hand in the hospital so she might think Kunal is the one who cared for her and her family might pressure her into the Rishta.

The rest depends on when Kunal opens his mouth to clear the MU and when he starts noticing the connection between Abir and Mishti 😆

Would be too funny if the tables turned and Kunal Naanu teamed up to get AM married 😆. But I don't expect much from Nanko. He's a pushover and too gullible in front of Meenu 😆

ON Kunal Being a Matchmaker that is a long shot for him but I feel he Indirectly may help Abir in realizing his feelings that there is More to just being Casual Acquaintance between him and misthi. Maybe whatever the shaadi ki tayaari and Mishti and Kunal's closeness will ignite soem sort of jealousy or questions but then bhaiya will go into tyag mode for his Nanko i am almost sure of it

I love this too the fact that they are so normal ofcourse there was a slight Awkwardness today when he remembered about the rishta but it was done so beautifully thodi si hichak but the very next moment he helplessly reached out and held her hand because he feels that connect but is not haavi over her. i am liking that despite that subconscious feelings developing they don't expect the other to suddenly be somehow owe something to them. idk if i am able to express what am trying to say correctly but in other shows that very moment where there is slight realization even subconsciously the characters start expecting the others somehow owe something to them and are answerable to them for everything or they are to them. so yeah Abir is helpless subconsciously he reaches out to help her the moment he senses she might be in danger like this guy didn't stop when his pyara Nanko tries to stop him but the moment he saw Naman he came running back and no one asked that or expected it or even knows as of now why he came back as of yet but he did.

would like to add i also liked that despite the moment he shared with her he didn't immediately stopped his jaane ke plans and stopped his duniya caz mishti got into an accident which usually happens he continued with his program once he realized she was safe with kunal and her family and there was nothing to worry. these chote chote things are seriously impressing me and helping me connect harder with abir caz this is it this is how life works not how they usually show.

Waise agar ek taraf Kunal-Mishti ki "bonding" honi hai ab toh dusri taraf Abir-Kuhu ka rishta try karenge kya?😛😆 ...since according to family logic, ppl need to be similar toh dono Abir and Kuhu are apparently "lively" ppl so they should be together. That's how "simple" the logic is😆
