Last generation FLs were wronged by their partners, how was Armaan wronged by Abhira? Did Abhira character assassinate him like Kartik character assassinated Naira, or did he face any death blames or was divorced like Akshara at her lowest point? Or did something happen to Maira in that box? What about nanny Armaan hired? If Abhira wronged Armaan anyhow, then obviously we could compare situations, right now Armaan cannot be compared with Naira or Akshara. If in future writers give any fbs or any proper reason for him to punish Abhira for so many years without any fault of hers, then maybe the situations can be compared. Also when did he search for and find Maira as he claims?

@bold Abhira shouldn't have slapped Armaan, specifically when she herself advocated for no physical violence against her brother (I wonder why nobody mentioned this point till now, chalo koi nai), she should have simply filed for custody and won it too like Kartik and Abhimanyu. What Armaan did to her for 7 years a single slap can't compensate for even 1% the suffocation, pleas, guilt and sleepless nights to have hurt your own child, when she was safe, specifically when Abhira didn't do anything wrong as partners neither as mother.

@bold FL specifically Naira returned the favor every single time by leaving him, after insulting and shouting at him or accussing him too. During Shubham's death there was death blame involved. Shubham died because according to Kartik and Suwarna, only she knew he was drug addict, they didn't know so he couldn't be treated on time, Suwarna mata use to have panic attacks after his death. Naira didn't take that blame of Shubham's death and confronted Kartik instead for blaming herself. She walked away from marriage, stopped wearing marriage symbols and didn't wait for Kartik. After meeting him in college she insulted, confronted and blamed Kartik so many times. Raj nani blamed Suwarna and confronted her publicly. Choti dadi and Rajnani confronted Kartik for his wrong doings. I don't remember anyone, literally anyone supporting Kartik/Suwarna that time.

@bold but I remember instances where FLs morals and ethics were questioned when she supported Abhir after his EMA, or real life situations were discussed when Abhira sent Vidya mata to jail.

If you bring episode 1 or episode 150 khand again where the issue was already addressed in the show, then that solely depends on how you watch the show.

@bold none of the previous MLs called FL a bad mother because she didn't give birth to her child, no MIL abused her DIL because of infertility, no ML considered his mother/step-mother a victim instead of the woman who was abused by his mother/step-mother for infertility (a medical condition). No ML sabotaged FL's career or had any revenge or bribery case against FL to tarnish her public image. If MLs insulted or taunted FLs, then FLs were shown to retaliate or insult them too. They didn't quietly listen to accusations. Never. They couldn't even be guilt-tripped for death blames. When FL take equal or even greater revenge, will she be victim anymore? All other MLs did this won't make Armaan's doings equivalent to them, as Abhira till now didn't do even a fraction of what he did even after slapping him or taking away Maira for one day. Instead of slapping him custody battle was better option.

@bold: is it so? What would have happened if she did not slap him? The same tongue would have character assassinated her that the “Doormatism” has reached its peak with some supportive abusive words for her.

Regarding custody battle, why would custody battle still be an option here (atleast this point in the show as of now), when he himself gave up Maira to her. Ps: not glorifying his act before you start accusing me, because that is the bare minimum he could have done for her. He did that!

Also Maa got her beti after a lot of suffering , after lot of dhoka, if you expect her to negotiate custody talks instead of slapping the man. Then sorry, its beyond my understanding. (Not that anything happening in the show is relatable for me)
