Where as divorce is concerned it was never about punishing Abhira, his dialogues clearly mentioned he is tired and has given up on their relationship, he just agreed that they love eachother but cannot be compatible, and can never be enough for each other. This was not as a punishment for Abhira.

Yes the license thing was wrong which he acted upon, then being vidyas son. Otherwise I don't see divorce as a punishment.

Both came around to seeing the other's perspective after they acted on the divorce which is why at the end both didn't want the divorce to happen. Ab realized Ar's pov on baby swap why he did what he did( Rohit's involvement not withstanding) and Ar realized Ab's pov about supporting Abhir (helped by the talk with Madhav). Both didn't think through their decision to divorce is my view, but I respect yours.

If they show Armaan blaming abhira for Dakshs accident and saying she’s not fit to be a mother..that will be the ultimate nonsense..because Armaan knows abhiras capabilities and the Armaan we know will never say that to her… it’s really terrible that dkp writers are messing with the hero,like this..

Or just from his point of view, resigning to himself and admitting that Abhira probably really didn't want to get back cos she had effectively closed all doors on him with choosing her brother (rightfully from her perspective) over their relationship when there was the option of out of court settlement which is usually how most of these cases are sorted, yet by asking for jail time for his mother, she closed all doors on their relationship? And giving her what she had wanted first and signing the papers.. I'm not saying he wasn't angry when he did, but he seemed more resigned than vengeful! I don't think it was punishment! For me setting a base for relationship on conditions, or asking your partner to do things against their wish to save their relationship is wrong. Disagreements, fights and different perspective are a part of relationship, but putting forth conditions or pressurizing your partner to save their relationship going against their need for justice, isn't. Don't support your victim brother in punishing my culprit mother "if you want to save our relationship" is wrong (my POV). If Abhira anyday put forth such condition to save their relationship, I will call her out too. He told "his mother" to apologize for slapping Abhir but asked her not to apologize after handicapping him? Out of court settlement was victim Abhir's choice not Abhira's choice, he could have talked to Abhir, the same way divorcing Abhir or not, should be victim Kiara's choice.

Because that was how his character was presented when he first started. But after shivaanis revelation..he saw the light and he got out of that trap,of obligation to Poddars as he saw kaveri and vidyas true faces,,but now writers are putting him back there..like his character growth is removed. It’s so disappointing what they’re doing to him..because he learnt from his mistakes and now they’re making him do it again. Their show is low in numbers. They don’t want to risk it. So they will experiment. What should they choose between saving their jobs or saving a fictional character?
