I feel ever since KKK & the Identity revelation, Abhira has never felt threatened by Ruhi in terms of her trying to get Armaan. So that may be why Abhira would also be okay with this, because honestly she should and would usually be the first person to deny.

Also all the history aside also.. Abhira knows Ruhi is illogical and unable to compartmentalize or see reason when it comes to most things that are close to her.. to depend on her for such a huge thing is a risk Abhira should not be taking!!! It's not all about only Armaan here.. there's too much at stake to trust someone you know isn't rational when emotional.. and then there is history!!
